Our vacation was very comfortable, the unit had great views and very close beach access. The use of the garage and driveway was great overall a great stay and highly recommended.

This place was fabulous. The view was amazing from the upstairs balcony. Rooms were perfect. Kitchen was awesome. Pool was also amazing. I wish the balcony had a screen because the bugs were insane. I should have read more into the location and that there was not much beach but the local beach was not that far away.

Perfect place for relaxation

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I brought my family for a few days to just gte away- inlcuing my married daughter and her husband and my college aged daughter. We had no set plans and it was perfect. The location was great and the upstairs porch was a favorite spot for morning coffee, reading in teh afternoon, and an evening lgass of wine.

Beautiful and peaceful stay on Jekyll. Townhouse is very comfortable with great views of the ocean and close to everything at Jekyll. We stayed 3 nights and wish it had been longer.

A great stay for a family. House was clean, view from upper balcony was amazing. We saw a pod of dolphins go by. Only wish more soap was provided.

View from upper balcony was fantastic. Deer was seen eating in the back yard. Amenities were excellent at the house and on the premises.

The condo was great! Very clean, with unobstructed views of the ocean. Morning sunrises from the upstairs balcony were unforgettable! A short walk to the pool and the access to the beach. I would definitely recommend this property!

Island Vacation!

Our entire experience with Villa’s by the sea could not have been better. We loved the location on the north end of the island. Great unit with incredible views. Hope to stay here in the future. The cottages at Jekyll are an amazing place to stay.

The Cottage was clean. Beds were comfortable We loved having multiple bathrooms. Kitchen is thoroughly equipped. Parking is ample. If we had complaints about anything it would be the balconies and living room furniture. The living room sofa is awesome! The rest of the furniture is tortuous to sit in. If your group is 4 or less the couch will fit your group. If it is over 4 the extras will be wrestling each other to avoid sitting anywhere other than the couch. The downstairs balcony has no view of the ocean due to how high the vegetation is grown. I’m not sure if those things can be trimmed to open the view. The upstairs balcony had a nice view of the ocean. The biggest problem is that this particular cottage is between two other cottages. The way they are constructed our balcony got zero breeze. From 10am to 8pm it is stifling on either balcony. Sitting on the balcony is a big part of our beach experience and we were disappointed with the configuration. We plan on going back to the cottages, but we will do a little more homework next time.

Nice Surprise

This place is super nice and all the furnishings were better than rental quality. Great views of the beach and ocean. Also the community is very well maintained. Nice pool area and beach access.

Ocean sounds.

The cottage was in a wonderful location with amenities. The property is well appointed however could use some touch up painting in high traffic areas. Our favorite part was waking up and falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean as it hit the rocks during high tide.

Beautiful May retreat

Lovely cottage, beautifully decorated, right on the beach. Great oversized balcony on the second floor, screened porch on the main floor. Good beds, well equipped kitchen, just great overall. Two very minor thoughts: bring your own hair dryer. Also, instructions on the tv would be helpful.

Jekyll Island Cottages

The house was beautiful and accommodated our family perfectly. I would have liked the VRBO site to tell me that what they were charging was not all of the cost. I was also charged a fee by the Real Estate Manager for their costs. This was not disclosed until the last payment was due. Also, beware that the beach is not useable for many hours per day. When it is time for high tide there is absolutely not beach/sand. Only the water hitting the rock wall.
