Fabulous home, host and neighborhood

The property is well maintained. We were welcomed with a wonderful smile. The operation of how everything works was on point. There's even a booklet to explain things if you forget. The hostess and host are warm, inviting and offered suggestions to help us avoid traffic. The beds are so comfortable, we had plenty of space to gather and enjoy each other. The kitchen is spacious. The lounging areas provided ample space for our group. Anyone choosing to stay here will definately enjoy the home and all it has to offer. We found so many places to eat and shop that were very close to the home. I have to say that Paulina was the perfect hostess and we will be back again!!

Absolutely wonderful stay!

From checking in to checking out, this house and the owners were perfect! Paulina is the sweetest host and left us essentials upon arriving and later in the week even brought us a lovely and thoughtful basket. The house was very clean and beautiful. Fantastic Home for a Family Getaway!

My family came to LA for Thanksgiving, and this was a perfect place to stay. The beautifully decorated house was fantastic inside and out. The house had everything one could ask for to host a family gathering. The owners went above and beyond making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying at this luxurious home.

Fantastic

I go to Sherman Oaks often to visit my son/family and have stayed at many rental units. This is by far the best. Paulina and Chris are warm and welcoming. A welcome basket of goodies awaited us at the house on arrival and 2 days later, Paulina left a basket of OJ and pastries for breakfast at the door. The house is spotless. Kitchen is very well stocked. There are a lot of thoughtful touches around the house to make it feel like home away from home. The patio at the back of house is super nice. Owners are extremely responsive and eager to help. Location is convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, and highways, yet the street is very quiet. We woke up to bird song every morning. Thank you Paulina and Chris!

LA refuge

This was a wonderful, clean, spacious, and comfortable space to use as a home base to return to during a bigger family gathering. Paulina was a thoughtful, gracious host and went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. During the week, a helicopter flew low and loudly in the early mornings,which woke all of us up, but that helped give us a jump start to enjoy our time in LA. The house is a close walk to restaurants and was a good central location for the purposes of our trip. Before we even got on the freeway to head back home, our kids were already asking when we could come back.

Perfect!

Paulina & Chris are wonderful hosts. The house is beautiful. The bedrooms are spread out for privacy yet close enough if you have kids to monitor. Everything was spotless and there were even some snacks and drinks for us! Universal is about a 15 minute drive; stores and restaurants are a few minute walk from the house. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again.

Wonderful place to rest while vacationing

Great for families/convenient location

I stayed at this property with my wife, 3 year old, 1 year old and nanny. It was very clean and had plenty of space for all of us. The second floor master is very spacious and has a nice big bathroom. Hosts were great, gave us a welcome gift and advice about the area. Very conveniently located being within 1 mile of two major highways. I highly recommend for a family vacation in LA.

Good for a family

The house was spacious, very clean, and had a well equipped kitchen and working grill. The outside enclosed patio was wonderful for adults and young children. The neighborhood was safe, and easily walkable to restaurants and grocery stores.

Paulina's house is just amazing. Perfect location, close to everything, amazing interior design, you'll find everything you need in the house and if you don't, Paulina is there to help you out. She was the best host ever! We truly wanted her to be part of our group and take her with us on this California adventure. Paulina is kind, very responsive, always just a text message or phone call away if we needed anything. We felt home the minute we stepped out of the car and into this beautiful California villa. You will be wow'ed for sure. We can't thank Paulina enough for having us and making our friends-trip so special. We highly recommend this home and would love to come back one day.

Amazing House, Amazing Location, Amazing Hosts

It's hard to do justice to just how comfortable this home is. We spent a wonderful month in it, and were joined by various friends and family throughout our stay -- all of whom loved it. It is comfortable, clean, incredibly well laid out. We put all four bedrooms and three baths to good use. The kitchen was very large and well equipped -- and everything worked. Gated parking for two cars added to the convenience and sense of security although it is a very quiet and safe residential neighborhood populated by dog walkers and families. The upstairs private master suite with balcony and jacuzzi and two huge walk-in closets as well as beautiful built-in dressers was a haven. And the patio!! Beautifully landscaped and colorfully lit at night, it was designed for relaxing and even sports an outdoor TV as well as gas grill. The patio is quite large and includes a dining table for 6 as well as super comfortable seating for 6-8. And the LOCATION. Much has been said about it but we want to underscore how fantastic it is. Super easy access to the 110 and 405, which meant short trips to the Getty, The Norton Simon, the Huntington, Mulholland Drive, and Santa Monica. It is a 2 block walk to Ventura Ave with literally anything and everything you could ever need: gas, restaurants, groceries (including huge new Whole Foods and an upscale Gelson's), a CVS and Best Buy. Not to overlook the inescapable In 'n Out Burger. But I save the best for last. The hosts. If VRBO every decides to institute a 6 star ranking for Premier Hosts, then we nominate Paulina and Chris. They magically struck exactly the right note of available but unintrusive. Gift baskets arrived at the front door, as did Chris with flashlights during a very brief and very rare power outage one evening. We've been renting VRBOs for many years, and we give Paulina and Chris A++. What else can we say? It's impossible to stay here and be unhappy.

Trip to LA to watch the Patriots

This was the perfect LA home base for our trip. Was a clean and beautiful home. The home exceeded our expectations. We had a group of 7 guys and we had more than enough space and slept everyone comfortably. Was a perfect and quite place to come back to after a busy day exploring the city. Kitchen was great for making breakfast or dinners included everything you could possible need to cook a great meal. The location was fantastic waking distance to about anything you may need. Paulina and Chris were fantastic host. They are easy to get in contact with and there if you have any questions or concerns. We would definitely look to book this house again if/when we are back in LA

California Trip

We traveled to Cali for my eye surgery. The host were very kind and welcoming. We didn't need to purchase anything from the store (only laundry detergent if you need it) for our stay, as the home was stocked with essentials. The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. I recommend this property to anyone coming to the area, If we ever come back, we will definitely stay here again. We work in the design field as you will see in the decor & custom wall finishes in our home. Only a 2 minute walk to the "Main Boulevard" and you will be able to enjoy many Restaurants from fancy to casual, Starbucks, In-N-Out Burger, Bars, Ice Cream Shops a variety of Stores, Grocery/Markets, etc... So many more places and attractions very close by! Drive to: Universal Studios in 10 mins, Disneyland 50 minutes (south), Hollywood Sign and Walk of Fame, Kodak Theater, take a Celebrity Home location tour on an open air bus or a Studio Tour of the entertainment industry.
