The location was excellent, and it was great to have so much room. However, there were several glitches with check in/management. First payment was handled outside VRBO with a foreign bank - this made me uncomfortable. I reserved the place for 4 people (confirmed) and it got changed somehow to 3 - then the form that they needed us to fill out before check-in didn't work. We were back-and-forth trying to resolve all this just a couple of days before our stay when we were already on vacation. Other VRBOs took care of this several weeks ahead of time. The amount of deposit required didn't match what was advertised at first (they asked for more), and there were several things that needed attention in the unit. I had to ask for the deposit back 10 days after our departure.

Spotless and spacious apartment in a great location.

The apartment was perfect for our group of four women. The location near the port allowed us to simply walk to the port to embark on our cruise after our stay. The apartment was spotless and met all of our needs. Just fabulous!

Everything was great!

Central to many things in Basel. Clean, spacious, and easy to get anywhere with Tran system and appreciate included Baselcard for tram tickets. Would highly recommend.

Nice start in Barcelona

Our stay at this VRBO was nice. We originally wanted to stay in an apartment so that we could do our laundry before getting on a 14 day cruise. This unit only had a washer but no dryer which I had misread on the description. This apartment is on a good location close to the Gothic Quarter and close to the Port. It is also right next to the Marital me Museum which was very cool!

Great AirBNB for groups of friends!

We had a great experience staying here. The porch was a nice place to relax and the separate rooms and beds were comfortable. Showers also provided hot water consistently.

Wonderful stay at a central location in Barcelona

The apartment was clean and spacious. We were 5 guests. There was plenty room for 7. The beds were comfortable. The Mediterranean & Columbus monument were visible from the balcony! The neighborhood was relatively quiet apart from some street noise (busy intersection). We did many things in comfortable walking distance, including the Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, markets, Cathedral, Picasso Museum, Palau de la Música Catalana and walking to the harbor. Taxi service was quick just by hailing them from the front door. Travel tips: 1) avoid Uber which was consistently late, unreliable, and expensive. 2) Map out the direction you’re going to choose which side of the street to hail a cab. Many one-way streets in Barcelona can add time and expense to your trip, otherwise. 3) The Metro is clean, fast, and reliable and costs about 1/2 or less than cab fare. The apartment is convenient for people with disabilities with elevators and one-level floor plan. We used the clothes washer, it worked great (we bought detergent). Alonso, who met and checked us in was timely and clear with communications. The only small inconveniences were 1) our bedside light lacked lightbulbs. We traded lights from the unoccupied room. 2) it would have been helpful to have trash cans in bathrooms. Guests should take trash to receptacles on street on departure. I missed the WhatsApp note to do that. Would be helpful to have printed note in apartment with checkout instructions.

Unique advantage of the location. Spacious property. Shopping and parking all in walking distance.

Needless to say the key advantage was the location of it. Ownership was up to speed on all details and cordially greeting arranged upon arrival. Suggestion is to update both bathrooms, which a seriously in need for urgent rehab. Also the property is listed with BBQ on the balcony which there isn't one.

Luxury Apartment

The apartment is very big and comfortable. There were four separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large living room. The location is very good and is close to transportation and the city center. Tip: if you need free parking, there are many available spots on the hill near the cable cars which is about a 15 minute walk from the apartment. Street parking is not expensive either.
