The authentic 2 bedroom cottage-style Villa is full of traditional Mediterranean charm, a nice private pool offers great views to the nearby mountains . It´s also in a wonderful countryside setting, just a 5 minutes walk to Pollensa Old Town with bars, gift shops, nice restaurants. Free WiFi included.



Upon arrival your eye will instantly be drawn to the terraces and patios around the private swimming pool. Here, the hospitable local owners have arrayed a blaze of cactus, palms, mature shrubs, pot plants and colorful bougainvillea.



Inside, modern fixtures and fittings combine effortlessly with the feel and atmosphere of traditional Mallorca. The living space has comfortable seating, a flat screen TV, table and chairs and a typical closed fireplace. Decorated and looked after with great care, the interior is roomy and instantly welcoming with comfortable solid wooden furniture, quality prints and items of local memorabilia adding character.



The two airy bedrooms, one double bedroom and one Twin Room, are fully equipped with fans and sufficient storage. Both bathrooms are kept light and airy. All bedrooms include hot / cold air conditioning. In accordance with local energy saving initiatives, the villa has timed air conditioning on all units from 21h to 8h and 14h to 16h.



Spending time in the sunshine in this pretty environment enjoying the pool, the two sun terraces and, of course, the fruits of the adjacent barbecue is pure pleasure.



In Pollença you’ll find shopping a cultural center, the Pollença market, restaurants, cafes and bars. Traditional shops and churches are also present on this historic town. Enjoy the environment in the evening and take part of its activities. On Sundays there is a local farmers market in the main square where local vegetables, fruits and spices are abundant.



Puerto Pollensa beach is perfect for relaxing at the Sun, or for the more active, enjoy water sports like kayaking, windsurf or jet skiing.



In Cala Sant Vicenç (or simply Cala as it is known by the locals) there is a mini market, several small restaurants offering a variety of dining experiences and even a couple of bars. There are four small coves and two main areas of the beach. Cala Sant Vicenç has spectacular views and crystal clear waters.

Lovely owners & great location & a really good villa. A big plus for us was the great service from the Owl team. Not much really for us. But better standard of pillows & bedding please. And more villas like Villa Mateu please.

Charming Villa close to Pollenca town centre

Slightly dated but we knew that… the important things were comfy beds and a decent shower and it ticks both of those boxes. Think the couple nextdoor are the owners… they are adorable. The location of the villa is great…the garden is completely private and peaceful (except for the neighbourhood dogs but you get that lots of places) Just a ten minute walk in to Pollenca. We found this year that Puerto Pollenca was nicer for meals out (generally friendlier than staying in the old town for some reason!) :-)

Absolutely perfect!

The location is amazing - so tranquil, and yet close to the beautiful Pollenca, with good restaurants, bakeries and such. Our 4.th visit to Mallorca, and this is by far the best all - in - all experience for os, so, thanks, we will be back :) Only a few items in the kitchen could need a replacement - pans and some better knifes for cutting vegetables + the knive for carrots/potatoes. But, other than that, it was very well equipped, also for foodies like us :)

Traveled with husband, 22 yr old daughter and 15 year old son. Parking for small car on street, loved the outdoor brick stove, pool and views fantastic, full bathroom by pool, beds were comfy, turn left or right out of house and you are 5 minutes from Pollenca. We couldn’t get the stove or dishwasher to work, instructions would be useful.

Amazing week in gorgeous villa

Me and my 3 friends absolutely loved our stay at Villa Mateu and genuinely could not fault the week we had there. It was a smooth check in process with great communication from the Owl team who also helped with our taxi transfer. The location was amazing, just a 10 min walk to the old town of Pollença where we went for most of our evening meals. The villa itself was clean and well equipped with everything we needed, plus having our own private pool and space was perfect. To top things off we befriended the lovely owners who live next door, who really made the trip special, bringing round fresh lemons. I can’t recommend this place enough and really hope we will return again in the future.

Villa Mateu is an older ‘finca’ style villa a short walk (10 minutes) from Pollença. It is very well equipped and presented and has a lovely pool and pool room (with shower and toilet) with plenty of outdoor space and shaded areas to get away from the sun. Mateu is owned by a charming elderly couple who live in the adjacent property amongst their citrus trees. They made sure to meet to meet us on our first day and generously gave us fresh oranges and lemons from their orchards. We really enjoyed our stay at Mateu and would definitely stay again as it is so well situated for evening strolls into the old town of Pollença.

Lovely location, quiet and secluded, and a very short walk into the town. Very trivial but a few items need attention. There are no Chopping Boards and Kitchen Scissors. The Emergency No. in the Villa is the name and number of the previous Vintage Travel Rep.

Fantastic villa - great location.

The villa was perfect for our family of four - 2 adults and 2 children. It’s exactly as described, an authentic Spanish villa with everything you could possibly need. Outdoor area is fantastic with the sun bed and bbq areas and pool. It’s not quite a 5-min walk, more like 10-15 into Pollensa but really easy walk. Owl booking were great too. Really friendly, helpful and responsive. Highly recommended this villa and owl booking too. :) The only negative for me would be the bed in the double room. It is so hard! But I guess that personal preference.

Lovely villa near to Pollensa centre

The villa and swimming pool were lovely. It is a traditional Mallorcan villa with a modern kitchen but with nice homely touches. Both bedrooms were a good size with air con set at local times. It is a few minutes walk to the edge of Pollensa with about a further 10 minutes walk to the main square of Pollensa where the shops and restaurants are. Owl booking were always contactable by What's app and told us when the villa was going to be cleaned etc The villa is advertised as having two bathrooms but one of the bathrooms is not in the villa but outside near the pool - I think this could have been made more clear in the villa description. Some of the frying pans were also not very non stick but these were minor details of a great holiday

Lovely villa on the edge of Pollensa old town

We loved the location , the size and layout of the villa. It was lovely and cool inside and had two good size bathrooms. Outside is a good barbecue and a nice covered eating area. Plenty of room around the pool and upstairs terrace for relaxing. The owners lived next door and gave us Figs and lemons and were very friendly. The pool was very nice and the surrounding gardens pretty. It was also very quiet with few cars passing by. We would definitely go back. The kitchen needs a bit more equipment. The oven was missing shelves which meant it was really usable and we had to request a number of things like a colander and some sharp knives. OWL were great and very responsive but this sort of thing should be checked before guests arrive.

Beautiful villa with amazing outside space and superb location, with super friendly neighbours

Lovely well equipped villa with all necessary equipment, lovely spacious rooms, superb outside space with various spots to chill and lovely pool. Excellent BBQ, super friendly but non invasive neighbours who supplied us with oranges from the surrounding garden trees, for fresh juice every morning. Excellent location close to old town. We have been staying in Pollensa for 10 years and would definitely stay here again. Great service from Owl Booking also, very helpful and informative throughout. Thank you Owl booking, Mateu and Francisca. Possible a small heater for the cooler months, we had 3 cold days towards the end, the air on provided heating at certain times, but a small heater would take the chill off the kitchen or lounge out of those hours. You can buy wood at a nearby store for the fire, but we only had a couple of nights left.

A lovely villa in Pollensa

We were very happy staying in Villa Mateu. The house is very spacious and comfortable and is in a lovely quiet location, perfect for exploring both Pollensa and the whole island. We loved the outside space around the pool and the garden is beautifully maintained with gorgeous views over the surrounding mountains, We loved meeting Mateu and Francesca next door who gave us wonderful figs from their garden every day. We really enjoyed our evening strolls into the main town and had some great meals and cocktails. Our early morning walk up to the top of Puig de Maria was very special and to be recommended, As we were mostly self catering and cooking, there were a few things that needed sorting out. It would have been good to have one or two extra chopping boards, some sharp kitchen knives and decent non-stick frying pans. The shelves in the oven seemed to be missing and need replacing. A few of the lightbulbs could be checked as many of them didn’t work and that would have made a big difference to light in the evenings. The TV also had a very limited range of channels which perhaps could be improved.

Die Lage und Ruhe in der fußläufigen Nähe von Pollenca ist perfekt, Das Haus und der sehr liebevoll mit Blumentöpfen gestaltete Poolbereich schaffen ein sofortiges Wohlbefinden. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Zu verbessern wären eher dekorative Details, vielleicht die Kunststoffstühle und -Tische auf den Terrassen gegen modernere auszutauschen, ebenso das Geschirr, aber das sind lediglich Kleinigkeiten, die dem Wohlbefinden vor Ort nicht entgegenstehen.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in der Finca Mateu.

Die Finca hat eine tolle Lage, einen sehr schönen Pool und Sitzbereich mit Blick auf die Orangen- und Zitronenbäume und im Hintergrund die Berge. Das Haus ist typisch mallorquinisch eingerichtet und daher sehr gemütlich. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Im April ist es nachts noch etwas kalt. Etwas dickere Decken wären schön.

Wunderschöne Finca

Die Finca war genau wie beschrieben. Sie war sehr sauber, gut aufgeteilt und gemütlich. Den ganzen Tag hat man, auch im Oktober, Sonne auf dem Grundstück. Der Grill ist toll, so das wir fast täglich gegrillt haben. Pollenca, was eine niedliches, ursprüngliches Städtchen mit kleinen Gassen ist, kann fußläufig sehr gut erreicht werden. Als Selbstversorger sind auch Supermärkte nicht weit weg. Die netten Besitzer wohnen direkt nebenan und haben uns oft Früchte aus ihrem Garten geschenkt. Besonders die Ruhe und den Poolbereich haben wir sehr genossen, auch wenn der Pool sehr kalt zu dieser Jahreszeit war Besonders das gesamte Team von OWLbooking möchte ich noch hervorheben, sehr gut! Also ein schöner Urlaub Wenn man etwas verbessern wollte, dann wären scharfe Messer gut, die fehlten uns. Auch Auflagen bzw. eine Tischdecke für die Terrasse hätten wir schöner gefunden Ansonsten alles gut ...Dankeschön für den erholsamen Urlaub 🤗

Sehr schöne Finca in super Lage

Die Finca Mateu hat eine sehr gute Größe und Raumaufteilung für zwei bis vier Personen. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Außenbereich mit der überdachten Terrasse, dem Pool, der erhöhten Sonnenterrasse und den Pflanzen gefiel uns sehr gut - er lädt zum Verweilen und Wohlfühlen ein. Die Lage ist ruhig, aber dennoch unweit von Pollencas Altstadt entfernt, sodass man in ein paar Minuten zur Placa Mayor laufen kann. Auch super: Einen kleinen Mietwagen kann man direkt vor der Finca parken. Und ebenfalls top: Es gab an den Fenstern und Türen Insektenschutzgitter bzw. -vorhänge. Ein mobiler Sonnenschirm wäre praktisch gewesen.

Ein kleines Paradies

Vor allem die Atmosphäre am Haus, ein Traum mit den vielen Pflanzen, Blumen, Orangen-Zitronenbäumen und..und...Einfach perfekt. Die Lage ausgezeichnet , kurz vor Pont Roma. Die Nachbarn sind die Eigentümer, ein sehr herzliches älteres Ehepaar, das uns mit Früchten aus ihrem Garten versorgt hat. Die Photos entsprechen der Realität. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Vermittlungsfirma ist sehr aufwerksam und kümmert sich wirklich, ob vor dem Urlaub oder während, sehr freundlich . Für uns war das ein Glücksfall. Vielleicht im Oktober dafür sorgen, dass man eine Decke im Haus hat. Es kann nämlich ganz schön frisch werden abends oder morgens. Sonst alles gut.

Thanks for this fantastic stay

A lovely house, a lovely location and the team of the agency has been lovely too. They spent a lot of time ensuring we knew everything we needed to about the house and during our stay. Nice details of the welcome basket upon arrival. We felt in love immediately with the garden and pool area, a sea of flowers and plants. This is the Real Mallorca. Thanks for a perfect stay and for making our aniversay so memorable.
