Getaria | The Rentals Collection

This beautiful apartment is located on the first floor of a characteristic sand stone building just by the Plaza Bilbao Fontain. The building encompasses the charming area which consists on a pedestrian walk that crosses from the Plaza Bilbao Fontain to the Old Quarter. The building has an elevator and the apartment has been fully renovated on September 2020.



The apartment highlights for its central location as well as for its charming decor. The space has 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom has two single beds and the second bedroom has a doble bed. There are two bathrooms in the apartment, one of which is an ensuite for the master bedroom. Both bathrooms feature wonderful showers. The modern open concept kitchen and the dining area merge with the decor in the living room that reminds to the basque beech and oak groves, with a hint of sea. It has heating for the winter months and air conditioning for summer.



The location is perfect for almost everything: Both the best shopping area, the Old Town, bars and restaurants and La Concha beach are whithin a short walk from the apartment.

San Sebastain

SS is a great little Basque town on the coast. We learned so much about Basque culture. We were there for 31/8 memorial celebrations. And an independence rally a week later. Food was lovely, bar hopping in the old town. Beaches also lovely. Getaria is very central to everything. Old town & Gros are a few minutes walk as is the supermarket & other shops. Apartment was clean & had everything you might need. Only downside is there are no windows in either bedroom, which was ‘stuffy’ & needed lights on during the day to use the room for dressing etc. Honestly, did not affect the stay - tho it’s something I would check for next time!

Spacious, fresh and modern.

All four of us were very impressed with the apartment which felt spacious, fresh and modern. The location was absolutely fantastic as it’s only a 10 minute walk to the bus station (from the airport) and close to the shops and bars that we wanted to cover on our 3-day stay. I would recommend it highly to anyone visiting San Sebastian. All the best to you and the team. the only ‘constructive’ criticism I would make is perhaps to make it clearer in the booking confirmation that the keys need to be collected from your office perhaps put it in a LARGER FONT in red on the booking confirmation. My error that I missed it, but as you sent a key collection code I thought the key would be in a key safe on the outside of the building – this has been our experience of several apartments we have rented recently so I was expecting it to be the same. We then spent a lot of time trying to find the office. Maybe a more detailed map showing the location of the office would help? Other than that, all went smoothly. Thank you.

Rentals Collection

We were very pleased with the Rentals Collection management company and this apartment. I just looking at their website for additional information. The apartment was renovated in 2020. It is spacious and modern. It was very quiet considering it is in the city center. I found the beds and the bedding to be extremely comfortable! The bedrooms are blackout dark which makes it easy to sleep. The location was perfect—a beautiful quaint street, very safe and surrounded by coffee shops, stores and mini markets. Maybe I didn’t pay attention to the original listing, but you should know that upon arrival you must pick up the keys from the rental office. It’s not far, but if you are carrying luggage it can be less than ideal. Overall a great stay in a very comfortable apartment.

La ubicación a diez minutos de La Concha y a 10 del barrio viejo es perfecta, en una calle peatonal llena de tiendas. Ni un ruido por la noche. Muy bien decorado, camas cómodas. Muy limpio. El protector del colchón no se ajusta bien y se mueve, además de dar bastante calor. Hace falta un tendedero como hay en otros apartamentos porque el patio interior es tan cerrado y oscuro que la ropa no se seca en días y coge mal olor. Como estuvimos 11 días nos correspondía una limpieza y cambio de sábanas a mitad de la estancia pero nadie apareció ni llamó. El secador de pelo estaba muy sucio, se te pegaba a las manos.

Great stay

The apartment was just as advertised and in a perfect location. Good internet and TV options, efficient little kitchen, and nice bathrooms. Air conditioning worked well.

Todo genial en cuanto a prestaciones y detalles dentro del apartamento. El único pero que encontramos fue el aparcamiento, echamos de menos que no dispusieran de algún acuerdo con algún parking cercano para poder dejar el coche.
