Comfortable for our family...6 adults and 3 small children.AC fixed immediately when not cooling well.Safe neighborhood.Good access to pool and exercise room.Close to nice beaches and waterpark at the Hilton.Would stay there again.

Room for all

Great house with a lot of room! Clean and well supplied. Once we got the complex figured out,it was easy to get around.Enjoyed the bikes but cannot take them to the beach. There is no where to leave them. We didn’t like the fact we couldn’t turn the thermostat down below 72. This was adequate for the bottom half of house but not on top.

Family Vacation

The house was absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of space in the house, and we really enjoyed the covered lanai and bbq. The pool was awesome and the grandkids couldn’t get enough of it. The Hilton pool pass was a great addition and we used it several days. The Mauna Lani beach club pass made it very easy to access the beach and we really enjoyed it. The hosts were very responsive to all of our questions. We would definitely stay there again. Steve and Brenda

Awesome Home

This home was everything we needed for a 2 family vacation. Very clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the access to the Hilton property and private beach. I would highly recommend this house- beautiful home and partial view of the ocean along with the beautiful mountains.

Block Buster Vacation

We were absolutely delighted with the property. It had all the bells and whistles and more. The house itself was spacious, clean and perfect lay out for our family of 7 adults. The kitchen is well equipped. And there were plenty of bath towels and beach towels. We loved having the bikes on hand as well the beach and snorkeling supplies. Having access to the pool as well as the beach club was terrific and used daily.We were very pleased with speedy action to replace the toaster when we mentioned it didnt work well. we would definitely rent this property again.

Great location for getting to all activities around the island. You will want to rent a car. It's a 35 minute drive into Kona and 1:30 drive into Hilo. The property management company was very quick to respond when one of the bike tires were flat. We went snorkeling and came back and it was repaired.

Excellent Property

We had an amazing family stay at O'Hana Spirit. The house was super clean and the amenities were amazing. They had beach towels, boogie boards, snorkel gear and sand toys that were utilized by us since those items would have taken too much room to pack with us. Bikes were used several times. Location was perfect - across the street from the community pool, close to the market, and just a short drive to the private beach. The private beach was perfect for the grandkids - shallow water to play in and yet adults could swim further out and snorkel to see many tropical fish. Had an issue with the washer and their repairman, David, spent two days working to get it fixed - he was so cheerful and friendly each time he came out. I would highly recommend this place for any vacationers and we will rent again next time to the Big Island!

Great layout for 8 of us!

We were there to celebrate a bug birthday and to take a break from the Oregon rain. It was just perfect. We swam daily at the beach and truly unplugged. This was also the 1st time all 8 of us friends stayed together, and it worked put perfect. Kitchen was well stocked that we were able to cook often. the bikes, chairs and snorkel gear were appreciated. Thanks again!

My Family's Week At Ohana Spirit

The property's location was excellent; we had guests who live in Kona (realtor) who told us we were in an "upscale" location. Proximity to the pools and beach was great! The home is well appointed, nice furnishings and appliances. Enjoyed our "home away from home"!

Wonderful multi-family vacation home

We had a wonderful stay with three adults and five kids. Sleeping spaces were quite flexible, beach gear was fantastic, community pool was lovely. The community had a great grocery store and access to a private beach which was the kids' favorite from the whole trip.

Great Hawaii Vacation Spot

The property on the Mani Lani resort area is perfect allowing you to access restaurants and amenities of both the Fairmont and ManiLani resorts. The Lanai had partial ocean views. They are super responsive. We had an issue with the central air. It was handled at night on a Sunday. Couldn’t ask for more. A wonderful spot for families

Just what online says - great property- minor quibbles easily remedied- only one wine glass - only one working beach umbrella- master bedroom had no fan remote - bbq only had one side working - other side would flame out - other than that perfect place which I would rent again

Amazing property, but not pristine

It was a lovely condo that was well stocked with everything we could want to make our stay enjoyable. It was very tastefully decorated and had a beautiful view, especially from the lanai. Our criticism is with things that were not up to par for the quality of the property. There was a extra refrigerator in the great room which we found out was there because the built in refrigerator tended not to be cold enough to keep food safe. The refrigerator looked strange sitting next to the desk, but we did end up moving our food into it. Also one end of the drapes in one of the bedrooms had torn and was hanging off the rod. It looked jarring in an otherwise lovely bedroom. The air conditioner stopped working at one point and we found out that we needed to make sure the sensor was blinking every time we closed the sliding doors, otherwise the ac would turn off. This should have been mentioned in the info in the notebook about the condo sitting on the desk.

Lovely family home and great layout.

Beautiful home with a comfortable split level living design. Bedroom, kitchen, family room and dining room upstairs, other BRs downstairs. Great lanai that was well integrated into the rest of the living space. Low back Sofas aren’t great for tall people but the dining room table was perfect and the finishings nice. COVID pool restrictions are strict - must have a mask on at all times unless in the pool itself, even when no other people are on the premises, and strictly enforced. A bit over the top - pool was virtually empty as a result - but I suppose understandable. Overall a lovely home.

Christmas is paradise

The home could not have been better for our 2 families (4 adults, 4 kids) to spend the holidays. The house is perfectly located near to beaches, grocery, restaurant and all other amenities. Beautiful Property

We just returned home from a week's stay at this property. We travel to Hawaii often and have stayed in the Kamilo houses before, but this was our first stay in Ohana Spirit. The house was beautiful and you have an ocean view in the distance from the lanai (only a few houses in Kamilo have ocean views). I was happy to see that there was plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, dish detergent, and dishwasher pods provided as well as coffee filters. There are lots of beach toys and bikes located in the garage. House is close to Mauna Lani shops and there is a grocery store there as well. Mauna Lani Beach Club is a short drive and the restaurant there is delicious. Overall I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Great Stay at the Ohana Spirit Properties

Our family loved their stay at the Ohana Property. The instructions for arrival and finding our house was perfect. The house itself was very comfortable and we enjoyed being near the pools and beach. We really had everything we needed for the beach and for our stay. We had never rented from VRBO before, but will consider it the next time we travel for vacation. Thank you for a wonderful vacation stay.

Great vacation home

The house was a great place to stay. Exactly as advertised. We appreciated the supplies in the kitchen and availability of beach towels and equipment. The beach club was very convenient. Pools and spa were nice to have available as well. The neighborhood is quiet and getting to ither beaches and shoos was a short drive so very reasonable for our family with older kids. Internet and TVs worked fine. The 4 lanais were all wonderful. Great property, hope to stay again.
