Beautiful house, neighborhood and island

Excellently run beautiful vacation home

Our tennis team had a great time in this large comfortable home with great beds and lots of space to hang out together. Extremely well run and organized with great attention to detail and all supplies.

The perfect vacation rental

We loved everything about this rental. It was so comfortable and had just about everything that we needed for a week that accommodated 10 people in our family. It was a very quiet neighborhood with easy access to the main road to get around the island. Have two pools within walking distance was a favorite as well. We all would highly recommend this property!!

Beautiful home, great location!

The house layout worked perfectly for us grandparents. Our kids and their kids downstairs. Big open living, dining, and kitchen gave plenty of room for us all to hang out, cook, play games. The bikes, snorkel gear, and pool toys were a bonus.

Property is very nice with comfortable beds and well supplied. However be aware the property is a duplex and sounds carry very easily. Also second floor footsteps reverberate downstairs

Big island fun

Everything was wonderful. The only problem was the barbecue grill was not working properly. When we close the lid, it made a loud explosion. So we weren’t able to use it after the very first night. I reported it to maintenance on the last day.

Pristine home with ideal location to kick off big island adventures.

This villa served our family quite well. Beautiful craftsmanship and very clean and well-maintained. The Kamilo community is landscaped meticulously and the pool/workout facilities are amazing. Beautiful views of Mauna Kea from the Lanai. We stayed 2 weeks and loved every minute. The location is very good to take day trips to places such as Waipio Valley, Pololu valley, Hawi, Kona, and Hilo. Hapuna beach was about 10 minutes away. The Beach club access was ideal for our two toddlers. The Fairmont Orchid is within walking distance and a fantastic place to end the day with a drink overlooking the sunset.

Overall great, a few small things lacking

Almost everything was great! The swift response to any need for the rental was amazing and greatly appreciated. One request was ignored, the pool floaties had holes and no response on that. The house was exceptionally functional for our extended family of 10. Lots of room for everyone, the bedrooms are set up well and the downstairs master is amazing. Lots of bathrooms/showers. The cleanliness was lacking in my opinion. When I pay this much for a rental, I expect 10/10 cleanliness and don’t want to see stains /spills in the bedrooms and dusty, grimy baseboards. There was a dirty mask behind a dresser and I slid the couch to vacuum and it hadn’t been vacuumed under there in a long time. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and functional kitchen needs. The outdoor activity supplies in the garage were very useful for a beach day and lots of biking. Overall we enjoyed the rental, I just expect completely cleanliness for this price.

Perfect place for our multigenerational family

Wonderful place, great views of the surrounding mountains and the sunrise and a peak-a-boo view of the ocean and Maui in the distance. Pool access was perfect, beach club is the best spot in the area, and lots of running, hiking, swimming opportunities in close proximity.

Not A Bad Spot

A decent house in an HOA community - perfect if you want to rent multiple houses right near each other. Great lanai for chilling out that opens up to the living area. If you have small children, the house comes with a number of amenities. Maintenance staff is very nice. However, not sure the house is worth the amount charged. If you want a list of issues we had during our 2 week stay, let me know and I will forward you the email we sent to the property management.

Excellent House

This was an excellent house! The property was clean, well stocked and in an excellent location. The property mangers were outstanding. We had a bit of a problem with a very unhappy neighbor and the property managers took care of the problem quickly and professionally.

Perfect house for family Christmas

The house fit my parents and me and my brother's families perfectly for the holidays. We had 3 young kids and 6 adults, and I loved that my parents could stay on they main floor and avoid many stairs. The community is well situated with a good market nearby, and we enjoyed the pool and a number of the nearby beaches. The house had everything we needed to cook a Christmas feast, and do some good grilling outside. My Dad and Brother enjoyed taking the bikes out for a spin. If I was forced to find any gripes, it would be that it's easy to leave a lanai door open a hair and have the AC not work anymore. But the provided video showed that we just needed to go to each door and open and fully close it, and we got it working again. The other minor issue is that the dishwasher didn't do a very good job, and we ended up doing a fair amount of hand washing. But no big deal. We all had a great time and would stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property! Large bedrooms, comfortable mattresses and plenty of space for our large group of 8 adults to spread out. This is a new property and very clean. The kitchen was well appointed with all gadgets, great grill outside and enough room for us all to hang out together. We were on the lanai most mornings to take in the views and sunshine. The beach gear was much appreciated - great selection and plenty of chairs and towels for everyone. Having a large selection of bikes was fun as we used them to ride to the pool in the community (very short ride), around the Mauna Lani area or to the store on the corner. The location was perfect - easy to get to just about everything, including a short drive up to Waimea or to the best beaches on the island. The beach pass to the Mauna Lani was a great option when we didn't want to venture too far. Mahalo for a great vacation spot! We hope to be back soon.

Great extended family vacation home.

We loved the home. It worked great with 3 couples, a toddler and an infant. The unit was very well equipped and everything worked well. The unit was a several minute walk to the lovely pool, hot tub and gardens. The only reason I gave four stars and not five is that I was very disappointed by the beach that we had private access to with our rental. A few feet into the water the sand turned into rough volcanic rock. If you have water shoes you should be fine but I did not. But overall a great place!

Unique Four Bedroom in Mauna Lani

The unit is new, clean, well kept and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. It's hard to find a four bedroom home in Mauna Lani at this type of price. We came on a golf trip and were only in the unit at night. There was a lot of construction in the neighborhood and the main pool at the complex was under renovation and closed. Neither of these items were disclosed in the description of the property. If we had been there during the day, this would have been a problem. That said, this is a great solution if you need four bedrooms and you want to explore the Island. You won't spend much time during the day at the unit, but it does provide a spacious well equipped location to come home to. I'd definitely use it again, but I would also confirm that the pool area is open first.

Wonderful Stay!

We did not know what to expect before arriving at Hawaiian Bliss but the moment we walked into the villa we were more than satisfied! The villa had plenty of room for our group of 4 couples and one child and everything we could ever need was already there from soaps to spices and cooking oil. Each morning we would wake up early and see the sunrise from the balcony that had amazing views of Mauna Kea. The owners Jeff and Suzanne were extremely responsive and were very knowledgeable about the neighborhood and surrounding areas. The things we loved about this villa were its size, cleanliness, and comfort. If you're looking for calm waters to snorkel in or just want to lounge in a beach chair then you will love that this villa has access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club. The soft sand, calm waters and access to things like paddle boards or cold drinks via the on-site restaurant are definite pluses! If you're looking for more wave action, then this villa is only a short drive away from one of the best beaches on the Big Island at the Hapuna Beach State Park. This is the type of beach you envision when you first make your plans to visit Hawaii. If you decide to make the trip to the Big Island and you have a large family, then you will not regret staying at Hawaiian Bliss at KaMilo!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hawaiian Bliss. Everything worked well, we enjoyed the good locale

The house was great, very comfortable and well located for accessing beaches, grocery store, etc. We enjoyed the beach at the club and had a delicious meal at the clubhouse. The only flaw for us was that it would have been better to have one bedroom with three single beds for our three girls. Of course, this depends on the renting party and would not be a problem for most people. The owners were very accommodating and we greatly appreciated that. If you need the space, this is a fine place to spend time.

Exactly as advertised and super clean!

Every amenity was thought out; every detail was thought of. I cannot thank Jeff and Suzanne enough providing a perfect stay for my bday vacation. Plus, it is all brand new and super clean. Easy customer service, easy to find, and great activity gear in the garage for biking, snorkeling, riding, etc. LOVED!!!
