A little lacking...

Over all unit was nice, however the kitchen minimal items to cook with, and we could only find 4 coffee cups. The unit sleeps 6 but we were only left 2 bath towels for each bathroom. (4 total) If it sleeps 6 each person should be left bath towels. If you stay here I recommend bring a few extra items if you want to cook or bathe.

Anniversary

This condo has the best views of the beach and within walking distance to everything you would want to do. This condo also came with two chairs and umbrella which saved us from have to rent them. Had a great time can’t wait to come back!!!

Family Friendly!

Super nice clean place!!! Kids in bunks with bathroom right across was perfect! Having the master bedroom have its own bathroom was also super nice. Traveled with an infant, 3 year old and 5 year old and had plenty of space in this super nice, modern condo. Added beach service was also a plus!

Beautiful place/location

We were lucky they had the place ready for us earlier! Check in was awesome. I was glad we could just go directly to the place unlike other ones we have been to. My husband and I walked to Pier Park which was awesome. Walmart was about 6 minutes away driving. The condo was clean and beautiful. We had everything we needed to cook. Can’t complain. I would recommend you booking too!!

Very easy process to book and communication was great. Answered questions very quickly. Very clean condo and close to pier park, and great views. Everything you would need.

Great location! View of the ocean/beach was amazing!

The condo has been upgraded, very nice & clean! The balcony view was the best part. Pier Park is walking distance which was amazing. Will definitely be staying here again!

Amazing view and location. We could walk to a majority of the shops and restaurants.

This property looks exactly like the pictures. We had an amazing view of the pier, beach and the ocean. We were extremely impressed and will absolutely look for this property again when we go to Panama City Beach.

Great Condo and resort we only had issues with our parking pass which took me about an hour and then it would work going in but not coming out it was a hassle but overall this is a wonderful place with a great staff who are very helpful😀

This 3 day weekend trip is just what we needed. This property is amazing. Had everything we needed.

Super easy and fast. Owner is very nice and quick to answer any questions you may have. We will be coming back, nd hopefully this condo will be available!!!

This condo was beautiful . The decor was adorable in every room! The check in was a breeze. We had one minor issues that was fixed the following day . We would definitely stay here again ! Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo :)!

Great stay

We will definitely stay here again. It was clean, updated and was notified we could check in early the day of arrival. Only negative was the wifi was not working. It appeared to be turned off and cable to box was missing(not a deal breaker). Will be back there soon.

Enjoyable Stay!

My husband and I always stay at Calypso but this was our first time to stay via Best Beach Getaways. They were fairly easy to get ahold of when we had questions about check-in. The place was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. However, the coffee pot and blow dryer were broken and when I reached out about this I didn’t get a response. Other than that, everything was great.

Everything looks nice and clean

Fridge wasn’t working, air conditioner was loud , main door was so hard to close, and just to finish may last night i got locked out took like 1:30 min to go back to sleep.

Excellent and relaxing

The entire property was very clean, even the elevators. There's security 24/7. Everyone on site was friendly, even the guys on the beach renting out the beach chairs. One of the pools was heated. The room was exactly as pictured and everything was super cozy. Nothing was broken and everything was clean. The keypad entry worked great. There could be more luggage carts for such a huge property but we managed just fine. The location was super convenient. We loved it.

Great Location

The location is a winner. Close to everything- Pier Park, plenty of restaurants to chose from just steps away. The condo is clean and nicely furnished, but...better bring everything. No beach towels! We may have missed it on the condo description, but this slowed our beach trip down due to a trip to Walmart. We took another look at the condo description and still did not see anything about towels. To be fair, they did not mention the towels would be included. Also, no coffee filters, no salt, no pepper, nothing left over from previous guests. We have stayed at many vacation rentals and this is the first which did not have some quantity of community supplies left over from previous guests. Again, the condo is very nice, but felt like a hotel room vs a condo.

Not very clean nor as pictured

Pros: Check in process was easy, location was perfect and view was great. Cons: The floors were disgustingly dirty. Hair was all over the floor and linens. The balcony was not clean. The balcony floors were also filthy. The unit was not what was pictured on the VRBO site. I reached out via email but never received a response. It was much too late for a refund or change.

Good unit that could be great

Overall this unit was good, but with some maintenance and fixes, could be really great. Pros: - Beautiful beach and views - Walking distance to Pier Park - Nicely decorated and comfortable - Owner notified us when room was available for early check in - Well stocked, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion Cons: - Road nose may be an issue for light sleepers - Pool area is small and difficult to secure a chair - Beach service is expensive, and set up far from the ocean (makes it difficult to keep a watchful eye on little ones) - Air conditioning was broken upon arrival (technician arrived the same day and fixed the issue) - TVs in bunk area were not connected to cable, so I’m not sure how you could watch anything without a connected media device - Kitchen sink and bathroom sink faucets constantly dripped - Refrigerator water dispenser needed replacement filter - Both sets of headphones provided were broken - Coffee table had a large crack on the bottom shelf - WiFi was spotty - “Host Fees” are very high for this unit

Nice condo, but property management fiasco

Lovely condo. Fantastic location - we walked everywhere! Coffee maker could use an upgrade to a machine that takes K-cups bc we brought them, but the condo had a traditional coffee maker. No big deal we thought. We ran out and bought coffee and after 2 dollar stores and Publix stop we couldn’t find coffee filters. Property management company was non-existent. I had a question about the booking. I reached the day after booking via VRBO app. After a few days without a reply, I called their toll free number. I left a vm on the prompt for “upcoming reservations”. After a few days I didn’t get a call back. I called again. I followed the same prompts, and left another voicemail. One week went by without a reply. I then went to their website and completed the inquiry about a property; made a note ab the situation, and submitted. After 3 more days I didn’t get a reply. I call their same toll free # (again). I followed the prompts as if I were a current guest w a maintenance issue (but I wasn’t, I was just hoping to get a call back). I left a VM w the details. Still NO call back 3 days later. Then I reached out to VRBO directly. Their listing states there is a 3rd party property manager that I’ll deal with, but “VRBO will still have my back”. Two calls one week apart to VRBO, two different inquiry case numbers assigned. Both reps put me on hold for 20+ minutes to try to reach the PM company. Neither had luck. At which point they both promised to reach out to the condo owner and then call me back. I never got a call back. Was this all a scam? Talk about gaslighting! I was starting to think I was going crazy and had imagined making the reservation and everything else. Lol. Finally, I sent another, separate message, via the VRBO app and Robyn w the PM management group replied with the details. Very simple question to begin with. Ffwd to day of check-in. I miss a call (blocked number) as we were traveling to PCB. It was a message from the operations manager stating there was an issue w the air conditioner and they were working on it. She said she’d update me throughout the day. After a few hours and ab an hour from arriving. I called the toll free number she provided (the same one I had been calling the months prior with no return call) and followed the prompts for “current guests” to get an update. No answer. Surprise surprise. I left a vm. No return call. We arrived to a nice cool condo, but I will NEVER do business w Best Beach PM again.
