Excellent location for getting around London. Quieter than staying in the heart of the city. Very comfortable. Host is responsive and helpful. Would stay again.

Family stay in London

We had a three day stay in London and enjoyed this property very much. It is a very short walk to the tube for quick access to central London or the airport. Walter was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We certainly enjoyed the little touches of extra toiletries and kitchen supplies which makes settling into the apartment very easy.

Martin & Julie.

Walter was an absolutely excellent host, he went well above and beyond what would be expected. We required somewhere with an easy access of the public transport into London, theatres and galleries yet on the Heathrow line. The house was surprisingly quiet given it’s in a cosmopolitan London suburb and everything ran very smoothly.

Martin and his family were a delight to host. They were charming and respectful of the apartment and left it absolutely immaculate. Martin was most courteous and thoughtful in his communications and it has been a pleasure to make his acquaintance. Martin and his family were perfect guests, I highly recommend them and very much hope to be able to welcome them back. Thank you for taking such good care of the apartment and leaving it absolutely immaculate. You have been most charming guests to host and I hope you enjoyed your visit to London. I hope you found my home comfortable and look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Apologies for this late review as my family and I were away for our annual family sea fishing competition. This was my 50th year and the kids - their entire lives! (30ish). My daughter won the Ladie's First Prize and I was presented with an award for participating in the competition since its inception 50 years ago!!

What LOVE is in this flat!

From before we arrived, Walter was wonderfully communicative & answered my questions. I mentioned that I struggled finding cream tea in London prior to arriving at his flat. His wife filled the fridge with all the ingredients we would need for cream tea & sandwiches for our hungry teens! We were shocked that anyone would be so thoughtful. Indeed, everywhere you look, love has put together this flat. There was a binder full of info about the flat, its appliances and the surrounding area. The kitchen has everything you need, even a tea pot, tea bags, sugar and (we had) milk in the fridge, soaps/sponges/clothespins under the sink, next to the washer. I enjoyed the vanity table in the front window to do my hair and makeup. Walter met us at the door and showed us around. Kind, sweet man. And clearly his wife is well paired. The only real negative I can say is that the building is on a busy road and if you are staying in the front bdrm there is a lot of road noise throughout the night. Nothing that Walter can fix. The back bdrm is quiet. But the flat is close to the Acton Main Line tube station and a quick trip to Heathrow. One note: when heading back to Acton Main Line, some trains do not stop there, but bypass it. You will need to get off at the next stop, take the stairs to the opposite platform, & wait for a train that does stop at Acton Main Line, designated on the train schedule sign. TY for everything, Walter!

Living London

This home was wonderful with every and all amenities. You could not think of anything that you would need. The little touches made it an extra special stay. Although it is on a busy street, it was quiet inside. The flat had the same layout as a home my husband lived in when he was a child in London which made the space a bit more special. Thank you to Walter and to his wife for being such kind people and welcoming us.

Traveling to London

Hello, it was a great week at Walter's apartment, we felt very comfortable there, the only thing we missed for coffee drinkers was a coffee filter and the front bedroom might be a bit noisy if you're not used to traffic, but that's because London is a city that never sleeps. Apart from that, the price-performance ratio is completely ok and Walter is a very nice landlord, besides, London is always worth a trip.
