Wonderful Stay and Host

We could not have had a better experience. Jack gave us a wonderful overview of the area and was exceptionally generous with his time and guidance.

Host Elena was most gracious and helpful. Information on how things work in the apartment was available. The kitchen was well stocked. The location is in the old part of the city but close to trams, restaurants, and shops which made it a bit noisy at night. Our only real issue was the corruped Vrbo directions message which made it difficult to find.

Great location in old nice,near everything. Jack, the host was most helpful and that was perhaps the best thing, Nice cozy apartment in old Nice city center, short walk to beach, restaurants, the promenade etc. The host is very thoughtful, several small touches made it a warm experience for us. He met us at the tram station and walked us over, even helped carry my backpack, had the place stocked with Orange Juice, water and a bottle of wine, had paid for an awesome gelato at the corner for us. Thank you Jack for some fond memories of Nice.

Wonderful experience at a great place

Staying at this apartment in the heart of old NICE was amazing. The location was perfect, 5 to 10 minutes away from the park, the sea and the splendid Chateau. Although NICE is still partially locked down, we had no trouble finding outdoor places to eat, one day even taking lunch to the park The apartment itself was perfect. both bedrooms were cosy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is an amazing place to hang out in with everything you need to make great meals. We had a small party for six people in the spacious living room, easy to do. I highly recommend this place for any one wanting to be in the middle of Old NICE in a great apartment. You will love it.

Superb experience!

Firstly let me make clear that the owner Jack is an excellent host, with efficient communications throughout our stay. He arranged a private transfer from Nice Airport and met us on arrival to help us find the apartment. Then he took us on an orientation walk around the immediate environs pointing out local bakeries, butchers etc, plus some good places for eating out. Secondly the apartment is ideally situated for a real ‘French’ experience in the best part of the Old Town just off the manic Cours Salaya. Thirdly the apartment itself is beautifully decorated in a traditional style and is comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need if you self-cater, plus some freebies in the fridge and larder. We are already looking forward to a return visit.

This is a wonderful spot in Old Town Nice. Our host Jack was great at communicating and extremely helpful. Highly recommend this place. We had 4 people and there was plenty of room for all.

Location, Location, Location plus terrific apartment for working remotely

My friend and I had only one night in Nice, and we found this wonderful apartment. We are both remote workers and needed a place that had WIFI. But we were so amazed at this apartment because it not only has high-speed internet, it also includes a printer, a beautiful desk where we could work and great access, everything was already connected and ready to go. The location is just amazing, five minutes from the beach and, literally, a couple of blocks from the park. We wish we'd had more time and will definitely return for a longer stay. Jack, the host, was helpful, making sure we knew where everything was (the apartment is fully furnished and beautifully decorated.), and told us where to find a good restaurant and how to get to the airport this morning. Thank you, Jack. We not only got to stay in a wonderful apartment in the middle of Old Nice, but we also ended up being able to get our work done faster last night, giving us more time to walk around the neighborhood, down to the beach, then go out to dinner.

I was born in France, raised in the US, and have worked in international development and relief projects in Central America, Mexico, and Turkey as well as projects in Bosnia and Kosovo. Set up websites for guest house Kosovo ( the first guest house to be on a holiday rental site in the newly independent country of Kosovo ; As well administrating as a small hotel in Istanbul Turkey .Assisted a friend with a Bed and Breakfast in Nice .
I speak English, French, Spanish, and German and welcome all of you who would like to experience the unique French lifestyle living in historic Old Nice is just 5 minutes away from the beach, the park, the tram, and the chateau. The numerous restaurants, cafes museums, and beaches all welcome you this summer.
I've traveled extensively in Central America, Europe, the Balkans, North Africa, and the Middle East regions. Besides traveling, my other interests include photography , art, politics and history . And of course the Beach !

The apt is a authentic Classical Old Town apt with all the charm you expect to find in visiting Europe . located by the historic Palace Lascaris one of the most beautiful landmarks in the Old Town . Currently it is a not to be missed museum of music.
The apt respects all the ancient wooden ceiling beams and engraved ceilings ; As well as the classic red floor tiles ; Overhead chandelier and ceiling fans give a great atmosphere .
All the comforts of today can be found in the apt . Fully equipped kitchen with every appliance you need to create great French meals with the fresh produce and fruits from the nearby Cours Seleya market. Kitchen table seats 6+
Dont want to cook, just step out your door and you many great restaurants , cafes , music clubs and bars nearby . But not too nearby as the Old Town can get
noisy ; street musicians can be heard in many of the nearby cafes;
The best beaches in Nice can be found a short 5 minute walk to the end of the street .You will find Castel beach with its restaurant ; beach chairs and umbrellas for rent as well as the Free public beach ; Castle ( Chateau) hilltop park with great views of the sea ; city and port is just above the beach .
To make your day at the beach a perfect experience large beach towels, mats and even chairs can be found in the apt for your use .
The tramway is located a 2 minute walk from the apt . You can take the direct line # 2 to the airport in 20 minutes for 1.50E fare. Buses to Cannes , Antibes and Monaco for 1.50E . fare.
3 min walk from apt is located the new Beautiful Park Paillon with games and water shoots for children to run thru and cool off: The park runs all the way down to the Promenade and the sea. Great for spending a peaceful afternoon .
Back at the apt you can relax with the large flat screen TV stations , NETFLIX .,FIBRE WiFi . Comfortable beds end a perfect day!
