Completely renovated 2-bedroom 1-bathroom apartment in the center of Marbella, close to all the services that the city offers and less than five minutes walking to the beach so the car is not necessary for your stay.

This magnificent apartment comprises: access to the 6th floor by elevator, entrance to the apartment directly to the fully-renovated living room with extendable dining table, comfortable sofa with folding table, 50" flat-screen Smart TV with an extendable arm to watch TV from the dining area sofa or from the furnished terrace. Open-plan kitchen, fully equipped with everything you need to cook and quality appliances such as fridge, hob, dishwasher ... you will find everything you need to cook in this kitchen. Access to the north facing terrace directly from the living room and furnished to enjoy your lunch or breakfast outdoors, very comfortable being next to the kitchen. Master bedroom with double bed, built-in wardrobe with great capacity to accommodate your belongings and with access to the second east-facing terrace. Full bathroom with shower. Second bedroom with two single beds, built-in wardrobe and access to the east-facing terrace. The second east-facing terrace is furnished with sofas to relax.

The apartment was extremely dirty upon arrival. The bed sheets, cushions, and furniture had visible stains and appeared not to have been properly cleaned. There was dust, dirt, and residue throughout the apartment, making us uncomfortable sleeping in the bed or sitting on the furniture. The bathroom was also in poor condition, with soap scum and grime around many surfaces, especially the bathroom faucet.What made the experience even worse was the host's attitude. When we raised our concerns about the cleanliness of the apartment, the host responded rudely and suggested that we should stay in a hotel instead. We requested extra sheets so we could cover the stained cushions and furniture, but they were never provided. The host also promised to send someone to clean the apartment, but no one ever came.Due to the short length of our stay in Marbella, we did not have the time or energy to find alternative accommodation, so we had no choice but to remain there despite the conditions.Overall, the apartment was not as advertised, and the lack of cleanliness and poor customer service made for a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this property.

Dear Naghmeh, We regret that your stay did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few points for future guests. When you finally sent us the photos, they showed signs of wear and tear and maintenance issues, rather than a lack of cleanliness. Even so, we took your concerns seriously and were available to assist you. You also inquired whether cleaning during your stay was included. Please note that this is a self-catering holiday apartment, not a hotel, and mid-stay cleaning is not included unless specifically booked as an additional service. Before your arrival, we informed you that early check-in would not be possible, as check-out and arrival were scheduled for the same day. Despite this, you contacted us at 12:30 p.m. requesting access to the apartment, even though check-in was clearly indicated as being from 4:00 p.m. Shortly after your arrival, you called our emergency number to inquire about the amount of toilet paper available. As this is a vacation rental, guests are responsible for purchasing their own toiletries during their stay. Nevertheless, we provided you with one roll of toilet paper as a courtesy. As a gesture of goodwill, we offered you additional rolls, which you could collect from our office. Regarding towels, your booking was for two people, and two full sets of towels, one per person, were provided, as stipulated in the booking. You subsequently requested four large sets of towels, leading us to believe that there might be more people staying in the apartment than initially indicated. Following your complaints, VRBO contacted us, and we discussed a full refund if you decided to vacate the property. We agreed to this arrangement, provided you vacated the apartment and sent proof of departure. However, no such proof was ever provided. On Monday, our colleague visited the property to assess the situation. The apartment was occupied, the door was locked from the inside, and no one answered. We also sent several messages through VRBO requesting clarification, but received no response. What surprises us most is that, despite having our address, phone number, emergency number, and an active message thread on VRBO, we received no further communication from you until just before your departure. Had we had the opportunity to answer your questions during your stay, we would have gladly done so. We always strive to help our guests and resolve any issues that may arise. A stroll along the palm-fringed Paseo Marítimo has long been one of Marbella’s most special charms. With its views across the Mediterranean to Gibraltar and the Rif Mountains of Morocco, and an endless selection of relaxing beach bars, it is a particularly attractive spot to watch the world go by.

The enchanting Casco Antiguo (Old Town) echoes traditional Andalucía and its rich history; built within the still-standing walls of its Moorish castle, it preserves an undeniable cultural and historic heritage in the face of modern tourism. Its street plan bears the irregular layout characteristic of the Arabic era, although some of its narrow streets lead to plazas designed and built after the Christian Conquest. The Plaza de Los Naranjos (Orange Square), an example of the urban reorganisation carried by the conquerors, hosts the Ayuntamiento (Town Hall), built in the sixteenth century and enlarged in the eighteenth. A stone's throw away stands La Encarnación Church, a stunning temple whose construction dates back to the seventeenth century. The Old Town is a tranquil refuge with a unique atmosphere of blended cosmopolitanism and tradition.
