Very comfortable and clean appartment. Great showers, plenty of hot water. Good location with beach and supermarket in walking distance. Air conditioning. Would be good to include a map of the apartment location as the address does not take you to the right place, luckily I had got Frances to send me a pin as I knew we would be arriving when it was dark. Electrics did trip a couple of times but easily sorted once I’d found the fuse board.

Good value for money

A lovely stay in a comfortable and clean apartment. Good access to the beach and plenty of pubs and restaurants. Excellent communication with the hosts and all you need for a family. A few downsides - children’s room had no windows and was hot and dark. Air con wasn’t the best.

Regarding the points that were mentioned in the review. There are two bedrooms in the apartment, the main bedroom has a Juliet balcony with large sliding patio doors and overlooks the pool. The second bedroom has a double sliding opening window with a roller blackout blind to be used as needed. This window brings adequate natural light into the room. Regarding the air conditioning. This is a brand new system installed in October 2021 and other visitors have commented on how well it works. As with all air conditioning systems, the temperature on the unit has to be set lower than the room temperature, otherwise the unit will reach the room temperature quickly and then turn off. Also windows have to be closed as the room sensors will detect if they are open and automatically turn the system off. Most systems operate like this.

Clean, comfortable and great location

We had a lovely 2 week stay at this property. It was an easy booking process and our hosts made us nothing but welcome. Any questions we had were always answered promptly. We were 3 adults with 2 children. The apartment is in a great location and very close to the A7. If you hire a car there is designated underground parking to keep the car cool from the heat and a lift straight up to the apartment. So no hassle bringing in supplies or finding a parking place. The supermarket shop is two minutes from the apartment and never seemed to close and so very handy if you ever needed anything quickly. There is also a Supersol Supermarket a little further away so you are spoiled for choice. The pools and the urbanisation are very well kept and we could see the grandchildren in the pool from the balcony which had all day sun. We all had a very relaxed and enjoyable holiday and would definitely return.

Never again

Very unfriendly landlord. First the key is sent and so that it did not arrive on time. The burden of searching for the key was placed on us. The shutters were broken and therefore the room could not be darkened for the children. The cleaning lady wouldn't let us leave because a key was missing that we had never received. It was implied that more people had slept there, which was not the case. Never experienced anything like it. Never again and not recommended. We stay at this resort every year.

You will see from previous reviews, we have never had a bad review in over 20 years of renting out our holiday home. We will address the two relevant issues: Regarding the keys, our agent met the guests on arrival at the apartment with the keys at no cost or inconvenience to them. The original keys were posted in good time by the reliable International tracked and signed service. As the guest wasn’t available to sign for the keys, the courier left a card to enable collection from the local delivery office. The guest was unable to collect the keys, so we arranged for our agent to meet them and so there wasn’t an issue. The bedroom shutter was in full working order when the guests arrived, as confirmed by our agent. In addition, there are blackout curtains fitted making the room pitch black. When the guest checked-out, our agent reported to us that the shutter chord had been snapped, making the shutter inoperable. The shutter was now permanently down and the room was in total darkness. It couldn’t have been any darker. We’re really sorry this lady had a negative experience. We have many returning customers because we always try our very best to go above and beyond to please our guests.

Kortom redelijk appartement, cijfer 6/7.

I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed, but fortunately most of our guests have a good experience and return for future holidays. We renew items on a cyclical basis. The mattresses and pillows have protectors on, and are changed on a regular basis. The cleaners have checked the bedding and have confirmed that there are no stains whatsoever. The duvets are brand new as they were purchased for your stay. Regarding the coffee maker, we didn't have that facility advertised at the time, and we did reimburse you. At no point during your stay did you complain, even when I sent you a message to ask if everything was okay. I am surprised

Ruim appartement, goede basisbehoefte

Excellent 7 day April break on the Costa del Sol

We are just back from spending a week at Frances & Neil’s apartment at Reserva de Marbella, near Cabopino Beach. The apartment on the first floor was excellent. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, large lounge, separate fitted kitchen and a patio/veranda overlooking the gardens, pool and jacuzzi. There was a TV, DVD player and CD player in the lounge, and cooker, toaster, microwave in the kitchen. Also a washing machine. The patio/veranda was big enough for a table, chairs and two loungers. Down by the pool was also loungers, chairs and shaded areas. Really nice and peaceful. Towels were provided, bedding, etc and everything meticulously clean. There was a mini-supermarket 100 yards from the apartment and a large SuperCor 5 minute walk away. This latter sold same day English newspapers. We drove the approx. 45 kilometres from Malaga airport using our own SatNav. I would recommend identifying the apartment’s position on Google Maps and inputting into the SatNav in the comfort of your own home to save phaffing about when you get the hire car. We used Malaga Car Hire and were satisfied with the car, the service and the cost. We used the car as little as possible as we, or rather I, like alcoholic drinks with meals, beach snacks, etc. The public bus service was great. The bus stops were literally a few minutes’ walk from the apartment to go to Marbella (only €1.55 each) and over the footbridge to get the bus to Fuengirola (€1.91 each). Its 12 kilometres to Marbella, 17 to Fuengirola. Regular approximately half hourly service. We drove up to the picturesque town/village of Benahavis on the last day and had tapas in very pleasant Las Cañas Viejas tavern/restaurant. Fuengirola is our favourite town on the coast. We had a tapas lunch at Lizarran Restaurant in Calle Alemania. You can Google their website for directions. Fabulous range of tapas. Best we have seen. We had superb meals in the restaurants near to the apartment. Twice at the 2gether Restaurant just across the footbridge. Another night at the Village Inn Restaurant, across the footbridge. One evening we walked down to the Sinbad Beach to the Sinbad Restaurant. Super position and meal, but a half hour walk. Better to drive! If you like walking, the boardwalks through the sand dunes on Cabopino Beach is really nice and Andy’s Bar on the beach was excellent. We had two lunches there with jugs of sangria. The last night we treated ourselves to El Rancho Restaurante, just beyond the Village Inn. Lovely pla

Nice apartment!

This is a fantastic flat located 10 minutes from Marbella by car. Plenty of space and has the facilities one could need. Very clean. Good communication with the owner and easy to make contact with the local representative. One needs a car to this property but it´s worth a short drive to come to a nice quiet area in the Costa del Sol. The garden has a childrens pool and a normal pool + a jaccuzzi! Well maintained garden. I will definitely stay here againnext time I travel to Costa del sol. Magnus from Sweden
