Antico Rio dell'Acqua Dolce (License: CIR 027042-LOC-06934 ; CIN IT027042C28FGGNWYW) is a typical Venetian apartment with a canal view, centrally located in ​Cannaregio district. It is very close to the means of transport and to the Rialto bridge. It is ideal for couples, families, and people who travel for work.
The apartment is located in a residential part of Venice in the district of Cannaregio. It is on the first floor and it overlooks a typical Venetian canal. It has been recently refurbished and it is composed of three bedrooms: two of them with one double bed (the larger one with view overlooking the canal, the smaller one with view facing the street) and the third one with a square and a half bed (the view is overlooking the canal). There are a living room, a well-equipped kitchen and two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub.
It is provided with wifi, a washing machine, a tv, a dishwasher, a microwave, a tea kettle, a bread toaster... air conditioning and heating.

THE CITY TAX AND THE STAMP ARE TO BE PAID CASH UPON ARRIVAL.

FOR ADULTS THE CITY TAX IS OF 4,00 € PER PERSON PER NIGHT. FOR CHILDREN 10-16 YEARS OLD 2,00 € PER PERSON PER NIGHT. UNDER 10 YEARS OLD IS FREE OF CHARGE. WE WILL SEND THE AMOUNT OF THE CITY TAX TO THE CITY COUNCIL.

THE STAMP IS OF 2,00 €.

YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SHOW YOUR ID OR PASSPORT AT THE CHECK-IN FOR REGISTRATION TO PUBLIC SECURITY.

Baby cot available on request at the price of 15,00 Euro per night

Check in after 20.00 pm is on request.

To access the apartment on the first floor it is necessary to climb the stairs as there is no elevator in the building. In Venice there are very few apartments with a lift.

Please use the adapters present in the apartment. External adapters could trip the current.

We recommend that you please do the separate garbage collection and bring it to the place that you will be told at the check-in. It will help us to reduce the pollution rate and safeguard our environment.

According to Italian law, the heating can be turned on from October 22nd to April 07th. The maximum temperature allowed is 19 degrees centigrade with 1 degree of tolerance, that is 20 degrees centigrade.

For the air conditioning a temperature not lower than 24 degrees is recommended.

The apartment was very clean and well stocked. Each room had its own temperature gauge which made it nice with several members staying there. The location was perfect. Off the beaten path so it was quiet at night but only 3-4 minutes to get to the restaurants and shopping.

A wonderful apartment in a great Venice neighborhood. Great communication from host with helpful info on transportation options and directions to the apartment. Everything was as described in the listing and worked well for our group of 5. 3 nice bedrooms and 2 modern bathrooms (one is a little small). The Cannaregio neighborhood is filled with shops and restaurants and has a more locale vibe than busy San Marco square. We loved walking everywhere!

Excellent location, easily accesible to St. Mark’s Square without being in the middle of the madness. Down a quiet street, the apartment was a sweet relief—especially due to the very effective air conditioning system. We loved the comfort and spaciousness of the apartment, which looked just as described. It was a bit tricky to get to, though—Apple Maps was a disaster, but Google’s great. We would 100% stay at this place if visiting Venice again!

This was our first trip to Italy, and staying at Alberto’s apartment made our time in Venice truly unforgettable. From the moment we booked, Alberto was incredibly helpful and responsive, answering all our questions and offering tips to make our stay smooth and enjoyable.The apartment itself exceeded our expectations—it was spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The location was absolutely perfect—tucked away in a charming area with everything we needed just a short walk away: restaurants, shops, sights, and canals. Despite being close to the action, the apartment was peaceful and quiet, offering the perfect place to relax after a busy day.We were lucky to have great weather, although it was quite hot during our stay. Thankfully, the air conditioning worked wonderfully and was a huge relief after long days of exploring.Check-in was seamless. Cristina stayed in touch with us as we arrived and was waiting at the apartment to greet us and walk us through everything. Great place in quiet neighborhood on a side canal

Very spacious apartment with 3 bedrooms (and AC in each BR as well as in other areas). Nice sized kitchen with dishwasher. Also with washing machine. Great location and picturesque view of canal. 5 minute walk to vaparetto stop Ca' D'oro. About 15-20 minute walk to St. Mark's. Great apartment in a great location!

Wonderful stay

The apartment was very comfortable and convenient to everything but still very quiet at night. I enjoyed having the windows open and listening to people passing by below speaking Italian. The square was very close by and me and my granddaughter enjoyed going for coffee and a croissant for breakfast. I would definitely recommend this property.

Book this Apartment. It has everything you want.

This large remodeled well furnished apartment has everything that you would want for your stay in Venice. Approximately 5 minute walk from the Alilaguna Blu Line Venice dock from the airport. Just minutes from the main shopping and dining areas. Quiet residential area without all the pedestrian traffic and noise.

This condo was excellent! The location is great. It’s a little quieter than the highly touristy areas and a short walk to more activities. The condo was clean and a great fit for our family. The floors were amazing and the decor was perfect for Venice. Thanks for a great experience!

Perfect apartment in Cannaregio.

This is a nice, big apartment. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were good (one was marble!), showers were hot and good pressure, furnishings were nice, dining table and living room were just right for our family of five, and the kitchen is much bigger than your average European apartment. We were close to San Marco, but far enough away that it felt a little more peaceful and local. Easy to get there from the train station: a ten minute Vaporetto ride and then an eight minute walk. If we had wanted to walk to the train it would have taken 23 minutes. The vaporetto was so easy we just did that. We had an issue with the wifi when we first arrived, but they fixed it quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

Stay was wonderful, everything was as listed. Should have brought slippers and warmer clothes as the floor and place can be quite chilly (we stayed in Feb) but otherwise it was great.

Great location! Close to everything, but enough distance from the crowds

This was an amazing apartment for our three friends. The views from the rooms were wonderful. The beds are super comfortable. The kitchen, laundry, bathrooms were fantastic. The host was super nice and let us drop our luggage while the apartment was being cleaned and met us at the door when we arrived. It will be hard to beat this place on our next adventures through Italy this trip.

We loved this Canareggio apartment! It was so peaceful to come home to after our days exploring Venice with the crowds. The host allowed us to check in early, and Veronica gave us a super helpful orientation to the neighborhood, including setting up a visit to Murano. The apartment is well-equiped and so cozy we cooked at home some evenings. The location is very convenient, close to the Ca'd'Oro vaporetto stop and a short walk to other neighborhoods. We thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to go back!

Perfect Stay in Venice

This apartment was just perfect for my husband, myself, and our 3 grown children. The location was so central to everything, and the apartment gave us space to be together and have space apart. Alberto was the perfect host from the moment we booked (had to change the date once), to silly questions (does St Mark's Square really flood?), to arranging for a private taxi to the airport for our very early morning flights. Veronica was wonderful too...meeting us at the apartment and following up on everything. And both responded to everything so quickly! If ever we return to Venice, I would stay here again in a heartbeat...thank you Alberto and Veronica for all of your help and hospitality!
