Kalesma - Mandrakia House

Kalesma is located in a small fishing village called Mandrakia on the north side of the island, near the famous "moonscape" beach of Sarakiniko, 4.4 km from the port of Milos and 8 km from Airport. Peaceful and perfect for relaxation. The house consists of one room with a double bed, a second room with a double bed and a sofa which becomes a single bed, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and two verandas with beautiful sea-views of the village of Mandrakia. A/C and free wifi provided.

Amazing Stay

We were lucky enough to find this little gem after our other accommodation was cancelled the evening before we were meant to arrive - and we couldn’t be more pleased! The cottage was charming and the location amazing. Communication regarding our stay was great and the welcome pack very appreciated. Highly, highly recommended.

Beautiful Views!

We loved our stay in this quaint little home! The view is amazing - had some beautiful hikes around the area. We did have a few hiccups in that we had 5 adults staying and although there were plenty of beds, we were surprised that there was no communal indoor area to gather.

Great place to stay when discovering Milos

We, a family with 3 youngsters (12/15/18), loved the house! Two verandas, so always possible to find shade. Great ocean view. 200m from the fantastic restaurant Medusa in the picturesque harbour. 300m from a nice beach. Great place to stay when discovering Milos.

Beautiful Kalesma!

Michael’s place was absolutely amazing and was perfect for our stay in Milos! I would highly recommend this stay for anyone over a hotel or resort. Michael was super thoughtful and stayed in contact with us to make sure our stay was going well. The Kalesma is a great hidden gem on Milos :)

We had the loveliest time! The host was great the place had everything we needed and some extra treats. There were lots of cute cats about. A beautiful beach close by and lovely restaurant on the water. Great spot! 10/10

In love with Mandrakia

Milos far surpassed all my expectations. Being so close to Mandrakia beach was a dream! You can hear the waves from the bedroom. The island is extremely easy to navigate by car or ATV, and this property is super close to the best restaurant on the island- Medusa. Host was extremely nice, and responded quickly whenever there was an issue, which only happened once with the water. we arrived to a huge basket of baked goodies, and as well as a bottle of wine and some beer in the fridge! Oh and also tons of water. We wish we could stay forever!!

La maison offre une vue parfaite sur la mer avec ses 2 terrasses abritées. Tout est prévu, eau fraîche, encas à l’arrivée, café, et même matériel de plage. Précieux conseils de Mixalis pour plages restaurants et visites. Propreté et décoration appréciée. Un petit coin de paradis.

Tranquillité, confort et chats!

Accueil vraiment sympathique de Michael, disponible tout au long du séjour. Nous avons beaucoup aimé cette maison confortable (les deux terrasses sont un plus), la vue, la tranquillité, la situation à cinq minutes à pied du hameau de Mandrakia (une perle préservée du tourisme de masse) et de son restaurant La Medusa ainsi que la présence de mignons félins.

Maison de charme.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette maison qui a beaucoup de charme. Pas très grande mais il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour passer quelques jours. Très bien située, dans un petit port de pêche. A notre arrivée, notre hôte s’est occupé de tout y compris de notre transfert du port à une heure très tardive. De plus, notre hôte nous avait fait quelques courses permettant de passer le 1er petit déjeuner. Par contre, nous avons eu du vent, mais cela n est pas du ressort de notre hôte. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

Magical

We had a wonderful time at the mandrakia house. It provided us everything we needed and the location was perfect. We had the option of walking to a rocky or Sandy beach. And the local restaurant, Medusa, was excellent. Michael was a wonderful host. He helped us with our rental car and met us at the port. He also provided us with a nice welcome basic of goodies as well as milk beer wine and juice. It was a great property and experience.

Maison très bien située, à deux pas du port de Mandrakia et de l'excellent restaurant Médusa. L'hôte Mixalis est très professionnel et nous a attendu à l'arrivée du bateau pour nous conduire à la location. La maison est bien équipée, ce fut un très beau séjour, nous reviendrons !

Lieu de rêve

Superbe appartement, tout neuf avec une vue incroyable sur la mer. A mandrakia peu de chose, juste un tres bon restaurant mais rien n est bien loin a Milos. Nous avons adoré notre sejour, Mixalis est aux petits soins : des attentions dans l appartement et une reactivité a toutes épreuves a toutes les questions que vous lui poserez. Merci pour cet accueil nous reviendrons !

Like Living in a Dream

We loved the very clean, very charming space with a lot of room to spread out & organize your belongings. The location on the island was so convenient to see & explore everything we wanted to … The setting at the house just absolutely picturesque… we did not want to leave! The owner incredibly helpful & easy to contact - will absolutely come back!

We like welcoming and meeting people from all over the world.
We have a ton of answers and information for the island and its' secrets, but we can also be very discreet (or even invisible).

We are always available to assist, advise and help with any question or query, no matter how small or complex.

Check-in and check-out are flexible as long as the circumstances allow it.
