Set in the green hills above the Tuscan coast, Antica Poesia is a peaceful holiday home offering far-reaching views across the plains of Versilia to Torre del Lago Puccini and, on clear days, even to the sea. The little village of Montemagno is just a 15-minute walk away and has a bar, a small grocery store and two restaurants. The town of Camaiore lies 8 kilometres away and offers a wider range of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Torre del Lago Puccini, the birthplace of composer Giacomo Puccini, is a 25-minute drive away and hosts the famous summer opera festival at Lake Massaciuccoli. The coastal town of Viareggio is just 14 kilometres away, and Lucca, Pisa and Florence are all lovely day trip destinations.

The two-storey villa  is built from natural stone and surrounded by pretty terraced gardens. Various furnished outdoor areas and a covered outdoor kitchen with fridge, table and chairs provide the perfect setting for shared meals outside.



Inside, guests will find traditional wooden beamed ceilings, pale painted walls and sections of exposed stonework that reveal the home’s original structure. The interiors are rustic and comfortable, with a warm, welcoming feel. A particular highlight is the old olive press in the downstairs living area.
