This a a great property for a home base in Tuscany. It seems most all of Tuscany is within 30 min. We were able to day trip all the important places we wanted to see with ease. Eva is a great host and took great care of us. Eva made a wonderful four course dinner for us. She definitely supplies the real Italian culinary experience. She made biscotti and Eva cake to finish a phenomenal dinner. The property has great views with beautiful sunsets. There is a great winery that abuts her property that serves a great lunch along with a wine tasting. I highly recommend this property!

A slice of Tuscany heaven. Endless views with a pool too! Il Casetto is a loved home and it shows everywhere you look. From lovely decorated rooms to beautiful gardens and a great "cucina" Il Casetto was perfect for our family. The location is just minutes from Castellina in Chianti which is a great home base for touring Tuscany. The VRBO photos are excellent at capturing the home. Every day our family would enjoy sunrise with the aroma of the flowering plants. Jasmin, oleander and others were in full bloom! We urge you to book a private dinner while at Il Casetto. It was truly amazing. Viva la Toscana e Il Casetto!

Castellina in Chianti Dream

Family of two grandparents, parents, and 15 year old loved staying in this authentic, spacious, and beautiful house. The pictures do not convey the full beauty. Eva was the most gracious host. She went above and beyond to assist us with taking us to a garage upon arrival due to an issue with our rental car. The pool is more spacious than expected with many outdoor spaces. The view of the rolling hills is breathtaking. We had a 1 hour wine tasting tour at Tenuta di Lilliano that Eva recommended. 15 minute drive, gorgeous estate, and reasonably priced. We mostly cooked and ate outside because we all needed a break from sight seeing. Pay attention to Eva’s directions to get to the house. Would definitely return.

Don’t look any further! This is THE PERFECT PLACE TO STAY!

This was by far the best experience I have EVER had at a VRBO property. The house is absolutely precious and my group of four loved it. Everything was so charming- we kept comparing it to Cameron Diaz in The Holiday. The back porch is perfect for a morning cup of coffee that Eva provides (every single option) or a fabulous glass of wine at the end of the day touring vineyards in Tuscany. We can’t speak more highly about the host, Eva. She was so easy to work with, gave us fabulous restaurant recommendations, and even helped us make dinner reservations in the city. We were staying as well as Venice where we weren’t able to make reservations online. She had toast, butter, and homemade jam for us for breakfast each morning. On the last night, we had her make us dinner and it was one of our favorite experiences while in Tuscany. You can choose for multiple menus and she comes and explains all of the items she is preparing, and it was so lovely to just be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy our surroundings. We weren’t able to enjoy the pool as it rained the majority of the time we were here, but even with that being the case, our stay was absolute perfection. We will absolutely be coming back to visit Eva in the future. Don’t look any further, you have to stay here!!

Eva nous a reçu chaleureusement. La villa est magnifique, typique de la Toscane. On s'est tout de suite senti comme chez nous, elle est très bien équipée, calme. La vue est incroyable ! Quel bonheur de se réveiller avec cette vue et de profiter chaque jour d'un magnifique coucher de soleil !
