My wife and I come to Luca every man and stay close to a month. We stayed at Islands On The Stream, which was our third different apartment with Lucca Apartments And Villas and it didn’t disappoint. Their service is outstanding and they’re always there if you have a question or need some help in exploring the city. Nothing comes to mind.

A spacious apartment with outdoor space

Garden Along the Stream is a two-bedroom, one bath apartment with a good-sized kitchen and living space. The outside space is great. The apartment has a washer and dryer at your disposal as well as a dishwasher. We did not cook while staying there, but the kitchen is equipped with more than adequate utensils, plates, bowls, pots and coffee makers. The bedrooms are large with nice closets and dressers, and each bedroom had an extra blanket. The shower had hot water and great water pressure. The apartment is quiet. I would stay again in a heartbeat. No improvements needed.

Holiday apartment review

This was a great property. It was within the walls of Lucca and close to all the main sites. It's about 20/25 mins walk to the the train and bus station. The Conad supermarket is about a 10 min walk and you get a good selection of produce. There are also very good restaurants nearby at the Puazza S. Francesco. The apartment was very very spacious with ooen plan seating and dining area. The air conditioning was a god send! The rooms were bright with goid storage. We didn't use the outside seating area as it was very hot when we were there but it was nice enough. The only slight niggle was the applicances such as the toaster, hairdryer and kettle provided didn't fit in the wall sockets without an italian adaptor and there was only two provided in the apartment. This was minor issue. Our host, Elizabeth was very helpful and answered any questions promptly. We loved our stay in this apartment and would definitely book this again

A Month in Lucca

The apartment was clean and comfortable. We spent a month there and were very satisfied. A couple of hiccups. When we arrived there was nobody there to let us into the apartment. I couldn't get an answer from the property mgr but our driver new people in the office and helped get someone to come let us in. We also never received the complimentary sheets even though I texted/emailed to request them. I was contacted on our last week to see if I rec'd them but at that point I had already washed the sheets and it was close to the end of the stay. The property manager was very sorry for the mishap, it wasn't a big deal but I think it is helpful to point it out in the review. For the money, the location was perfectly fine. It was a 15 - 20 minute walk to get to shops and many of the restaurants. The weather was beautiful so the walk was a pleasure. The neighborhood is noisy. I am not sure if there is student housing across the street because there were young men standing around the front of the building. They were very loud from early in the day to late at night. But again, the price of this apartment is so good for what you are getting, the noise is tolerable. Because we were there for 28 days, having a washer and dryer was fantastic! Air conditioner worked really well. The welcome book they have for guests is so helpful. Beds are comfortable. Nice tv. This apartment is a very good value and we were very comfortable there. We highly recommend it.

Wonderful apartment, clean and spacious with very effective air conditioning. Stayed in August temperatures outside 30 + degrees but apartment was wonderfully cool . We had a couple of minor issues that were dealt with extremely promptly and very professionally . Excellent location , definitely would recommend.

Ein rundum schöner Urlaub

Die Lage des Appartement ist zentral in Lucca, man kann alles sehenswerte zu Fuß erreichen, Lucca ist eine sehr schöne Stadt. Die Wohnung bietet viele Annehmlichkeiten zum Beispiel Klimaanlage, Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine und vieles mehr. Sie war sehr sauber und hatte aufgrund der besonderen Einrichtung ihren Charme. Das Einzige, um hier vielleicht auch einen Nachteil zu nennen ( aber das ist jetzt wirklich kritisieren auf hohem Niveau) sie liegt im Erdgeschoss und die Schlafzimmer sind zum Bürgersteig hin ausgerichtet, also ich persönlich würde mich nicht trauen in der Nacht mit offenem Fenster zu schlafen. Ansonsten alles top.

Sehr sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

Unser Aufenthalt in Lucca war toll. Von der Buchung bis zur Abreise lief alles unkompliziert. Die Kommunikation mit den Ansprechpartnern vor Ort war super. Alle waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten an einem Morgen ein Problem mit dem warmen Wasser, welches sofort gelöst wurde. Die Wohnung ist ein Schmuckstück und liegt sehr günstig zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten und zum Parkhaus, d.h. es ist alles problemlos zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir können die Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Lucca Stay

Lovely property but a few maintenance issues which caused us some inconvenience. The Lucca staff were very helpful , especially Chiara who went out of her way to sort out the issues with toilet and electricity that arose. Place was lovely and we made good use of the outdoor area.

Lucca Apartment

Great apartment in a good location. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos. Beautifully decorated, but needs a bit of upgrade and maintenance. The apartment was a little dirty on arrival. Not a thorough clean between guests. Grubby surfaces. Floors needed cleaning. Cushion covers and seat covers had stains etc. The apartment is quite noisy from the street and the terrace is overlooked by numerous other apartments. Not private, and quite noisy.

Wonderful apartment. The air conditioning was blessing in the heat! Comfortable beds and living area. We wanted to stay extra days but the apt was not available. The patio was lovely early in the morning

Lovely place done to perfection. Each room was beautifully decorated and our every need was anticipated. Very kind and thoughtful host who left us a bottle of wine and some biscotti. The detailed visitors guide was very helpful. Manuel recommended several restaurants. We went to one of them and it was the best meal we have had in Italy. Grazie Mille!

Wonderful place to stay in Lucca.

Location in North East of the walled city is excellent and within easy reach of attractions. Accommodation itself was lovely and made for a very comfortable 8 night stay. Would definitely stay here again.
