Good, spacious property. Excellent air conditioning. A few minor things to improve the listing. Car parking is only on the road outside the property. The property is up about 25 fairly steep steps so not ideal for those with mobility issues. For a family sized property there was not enough basics (mugs, plates etc.) There were only 2 of us so it was sufficient. Also the sharp knives need replacing as they were difficult to cut with.

Excellent villa

Extremely well appointed villa. Lovely pool and patio. Spacious and very well equipped. Lovely location. Beach is about 20 minutes walk, uphill on the way back. Only gripe is the cleaning cost,, €250! Highly recommended if you can afford it.

Great family home

Perfect place to stay with your family in a quiet neighborhood. Everything is there in the house although not everything is up to date but it all works. It is clean and has comfortable beds The views from the terrace in the evening are spectacular. The best beaches of Marbella are nearby. Recommended

Family holiday/Amazing time

The villa itself is in a lovely setting with beautiful views especially at sunset. It was spacious, clean and tidy. The new kitchen was good although we did the majority of cooking outside on the terrace at the BBQ and kitchen area. The pool was a lovely to have especially after a day at the beach or walk in the mountains and local areas. There were a few things to note which we think could be done better to allow better comfort for future guests. 1) Not enough drinking glasses or wine glasses if there was a full house of adults. The drinking glasses were of a child size. 2) The children's beds are advertised as suiting one for an 18year old and one for a smaller child. This is not not the case. We had to move one of the single beds into the childs bedroom as the one provided was way to small for our 13 year old. 3) There are approx 10-15 steps to get into the property and these were not advertised at all. We came with 3 grandparents who managed the steps ok but this should be advertised to give future clients warning. 4) No mirrors in the bedrooms and lack of furniture to put things on. We had to move small table from lounge into one bedroom. Also one bedroom had all wardrobes locked. We had to store our clothes under the bed and in a seperate wardrobe near the lounge. 5) The beds should have two pillows for comfort and the child's bed cover was to small for the size of mattress. 6) The gardener was supposed to come twice a week to monitor the pool levels but only came once in 12 days. I think these things need to be addressed and although they are only small things it would make the living experience a whole lot better and easier. Overall I cannot fault the villa, gardens and pool as these were amazing and the host was easy to get hold of and contact before we stayed. Whilst we stayed our contact was Charo and she was amazing. She answered calls or texts within a few hours and was extremely helpful and a really lovely person. Thank you again for the use of your home for our family holiday Ash & Kirsty x

Dear Ashley and family, Thank you very much for your positive review and your stay! Thanks also for your suggestions that will help us making the stay of future guests even better. Based on your suggestions we have for example bought additional drinking glasses, extra pillows for all bedrooms and a cupboard for clothing for the bedroom where the wall cupboard is locked (as we need to store supply, bedding for guests and our private things). We will mention the stairs more clearly in the advertisement. As we continuously try to improve our villa, we have also arranged pool towels for our guests as well as bath maths in the bathrooms. Very nice!

We hebben echt genoten. We waren met 2 gezinnen (vier kinderen, leeftijden: 6,4 en 1). Huis was echt heel erg fijn. Met onze gehuurde auto konden we elke dag wel leuke uitstapjes maken in de buurt. Enige wat ik zou willen zeggen is dat sommige dingen in het huis wat verouderd zijn. Als deze zouden worden vervangen / opgeknapt zou het de ervaring nét even compleet maken. En voor de kinderen zou het fijn zijn als er iets van een traphekje aan beide kanten van het terras zou zijn. Dan kun je ze daar loslaten zonder bang te zijn dat ze in hun eentje de trappen af gaan. Verder echt helemaal relaxed!!

Excellent

We really enjoyed our stay here. The villa is in a very quiet location, it’s a 15 minute walk down to the lovely beach....slightly longer on the way back as it’s uphill! It’s a tricky walk with a buggy though, as the footpaths are poor or non-existent, (just meant as a heads up for other families). Good restaurants at the beach, and plenty more within a 10 minute drive. The villa is very well equipped and was immaculately clean when we arrived. There is a brilliant bbq and outside kitchen, and it was great for our little one to have the two slides and climbing frame. My only comment would the that whilst not detracting from our stay, it would be nice to have extra pillows available for the beds, bathmats (the tiled floors are very slippy), and cushions for the sun loungers. Check in with Charo was easy and she was very friendly and helpful when we needed to contact her. And checkout with Antonia was just as pleasant.....two lovely ladies! Isabel was a friendly and accommodating host, and replied promptly and effectively to all our questions. This is a lovely family villa.

We were very happy to have as our guests and that you enjoyed the kids playground, the outdoor kitchen, etc Also thank you for your suggestions. That will further improve our Villa. We have bought extra pillows for all beds, so people can choose different types of pillows. We also bought bath maths for the bath rooms. This type of sun loungers is not suitable for cushions, but to make the stay of guests even more comfortable we now provide swimming pool towels, which you can also use on the sun loungers. A Delightful Villa

We had a wonderful time using the villa as a base to explore the local area. It was plenty big enough for four, and for a week, five adults, and we felt at home there. We spent most of our time outside, because the garden, terrace and pool were so lovely. The garden is well-tended, with decent grass and colourful flower beds and shrubs. The pool is not big, but large enough for a family group to do the things you do in and around the pool, with comfortable sun beds. We spent a great deal of time on the terrace, eating, chatting and playing games. The awning shades the terrace and creates a special place, both night and day. It is an excellent feature. Due to its elevated position, the villa has wonderful views and on a clear day affords sight of Gibraltar and North Africa. Two of us used the Sauna, which was a bit of fun. The shower and dip in the pool afterwards, were most enjoyable. We used the barbeque a lot, which was tasty, fun, and easy to use and clean. Although we spent little time inside, there was nothing we wanted for. The well-appointed kitchen is a reasonable size, as is the store-room next to it, with laundry facilities and places to store plenty of groceries. The bedrooms are comfortable with good bathrooms. The sitting-room area has comfy furniture and was ideal when we wanted to catch-up on the news on the television. The Wi-Fi and Air Conditioning were very good. The parking, on the quiet road outside the Villa, was fine. When we arrived, a delightful lady called Charro was there to greet us and give us the information about the Villa and the locality. We felt that she was only a phone call away. Within five minutes drive are two large Supermarkets, which met our needs for eating, drinking and bits and pieces. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking or easy driving distance. The nearest beach is about a 15 minute, very pleasant walk, past other villas and cork, palm and pomegranate trees, amongst others. Our favourite trip out was to Caminito del Rey, an out-of this-world gorge walk, where the path is suspended on the side of the gorge with remarkable views. Malaga is a must with its Picasso Museum, Castle (Alcazaba), cafes and shops. Gibraltar is a fascinating visit. Marbella, is lovely with its beautiful winding streets and alley ways. A day trip to Tangier is great fun. All in all, we had a wonderful time and I thoroughly recommend this Villa if you want a tranquil, relaxing, but exciting holiday.

Family holiday

We had a lovely family holiday at the villa. We went with my sister and her family so we had 3 children ranging from age 1to 4. The outside space was amazing for them to play in and it was great to have the pool area fenced off for the little ones. They loved all the other toys in the garden too. Most of our afternoons were spent in the pool! Inside the villa was lovely too. Lots of space in the living area and the brand new kitchen was well equipped. It was also useful to have the utility area with a washing machine. The bedrooms were spacious and the children’s room was very sweet. The area around the villa was quiet but just a short drive took you to the beach. You could also walk down but as we had small children it was easiest to drive. The beach was very clean and had a friendly bar which we used most lunchtimes. The villa is ideally placed to explore other towns along the coast and not far from the airport either. All in all we had a great time and would definitely recommend it. Thank you to the owners and to Chara the key holder for making us so welcome.

Perfect place

Although the weather wasn’t as good as we hoped, we had a great stay. The villa is ideally located. Very close to the beaches, shops and restaurants and only 10 minute drive to Marbella city centre. We were the first guests to enjoy the brand new kitchen, which is really nice. Also the new installed internet, tv and Iptv made that we could enjoy ourselves inside the villa when it was raining. At the end we even had some sunny days so we could enjoy the pool and the sauna. Thank you Isabel and Charo for your help and the great stay!

Great house, great hosts, great holiday

We absolutely loved the house, the hosts and thus the holiday. The villa has beautifull views, a lot of privacy and is perfect for a holiday with family and kids. The hosts were very responsive to all our wishes and very quick in answering any question. The house is ideally placed for the beach and not far from Marbella. The house has everything you need and the kids loved the playground and used the pool a lot and due to the fence, we could relax at the moment they were not in the pool.

Great holiday home!

Very convenient holiday home with great sea views. Spacious from this inside with large living room and bedrooms. The kids really loved the pool and the playground! They can run around the house and at the same time it is save as the pool is fenced. We loved the barbeque area on the terrace, close to everyone and with great sea views as well. When the kids were in bed, we could enjoy lounging on the couch with views of the lights of the coast line of Marbella. During the day with clear weather we could even see Morocco. I can really recommend this place!

What a lovely place with an incredible view. Want to return as soon as possible

We had a great time in this lovely villa. Everything was even better then the pictures and the views were gorgeous. You could see the sea, the mountains and a lot of green. Complete privacy and great sunsets. Communication with the owners was easy and everything was taken care off. The terrace is great and is the spot of the house. Lot's of space, outside kitchen with huge BBQ and electric sunscreens so easy to have sun or shade. 4 bedrooms was a real extra. Everybody had his own bedroom and the Airconditioning was easy to use. The whole place looked like it was newly painted and refurbished, which was better then in the pictures. Once again, great place and we and the kids want to return as soon as possible.

Great family Villa with great views and really relaxing

We had a really relaxing holiday in this beautiful villa. The contact with the owners was easy and the villa was even better than the photos. The views at the sea and mountains are great and above all you have complete privacy. The pool is great for the kids and so is the playground. The kids almost didn't want to leave the villa. The outside kitchen is really nice if you want to cook. The beach with it's restaurant is also nearby so we went mostly out for dinner. The bedrooms are big and there is mostly a refreshing sea breeze at night, so sleeping was no problem. The windows has mosquito nets, so we could leave them open for the fresh air. We highly recommend this villa and will definitely come back next year!
