This property is located perfectly in Lucca. Great restaurants nearby and access to the wall is perfect. The property was lovely in every way. The owers were very helpful and kind to us as visitors. We would go back to this property on our next visit.

Outstanding property!

One of the best VRBO bookings we have ever made. The apartment has everything you require and is actually bigger than the pictures make it look.Vinicio and Paola's check-in is very clear and thorough.The apartment's location within the walled city is very close to the eastern Porta Elisa gate, with shopping, cafés, restaurants, churches and piazzas all in easy reach by foot.If you book this location, you will not regret it!!

Angenehmer Aufenthalt in optimaler Altstadt-Lage

Lage sehr gut direkt am Beginn der Altstadt und trotzdem ruhig (wir haben das Auto auf dem kostenlosen Parkplatz außerhalb der Stadtmauer geparkt, ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß). Die Küche haben wir nicht genutzt, ist aber gut und vollständig zum Kochen ausgestattet. Möblierung der Schlafzimmer für unseren Geschmack nicht so ansprechend, da etwas altmodisch und dunkel möbliert- anders als der Wohnraum, der hell und freundlich-modern möbliert ist. Im Verhältnis zur Größe der Gesamtwohnung eher kleines Bad mit enger Dusche, aber alles sauber und ordentlich. Vor allem die tolle Lage und die netten Gastgeber machten den Aufenthalt für uns sehr angenehm.

Nice stay

The apartment is as described. There are 51 steps to get to it. They are not as steep as some others in Lucca and we got used to them after a couple of days. You enter to a large living space with 2 couches, TV, dining table and kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped and it was a great to cook in. It has a dishwasher, washing machine and Lavazza coffee machine.The master bedroom is very large with lots of cupboards for clothing. The second bedroom is a bit smaller with 2 beds that may be joined together.The bathroom is also quite large, but the shower is a bit small. I weigh 90 Kgs and the shower was a bit uncomfortable. A larger person might find it difficult.We did not need the aircon and the heating worked well.The only Negative is that we were charged for the heating, which was not mentioned on the Vrbo listing.

A lovely, well appointed and located apartment

Having stayed many times in apartments in Lucca I have to say that this apartment stands well above lots of others in standard, ambience and comfort. I was aware that it was three floors up, but these are the type of places I like. There was one small issue that cropped up and it was handled very well and courteously by the host family…on a Saturday!! And resolved by the same evening! This was very reassuring and made staying in their apartment even more special! I can highly recommend this accommodation…and I say that biting my lip as I know that will make it harder for me to rebook!!! Grazie Vinicio, Paola and Leonardo!!

Appartement top, propre, équipement cuisine impeccable, emplacement de l'appartement est vraiment top, en 5 min à pied tu est au centre ville de Lucca. Pour gare la voiture il y a un parking gratuité juste en dehors de la ville à 10 min à pied, top. Seul b- mol de l'appartement c'était la Clim du séjour. Il a fait très chaud quand on était à Lucca et là Clim est trop petite pour l'espace. Mais les clims des chambres marchent très bien.

Lovely stay

Fantastisch appartement! Uitgebreide keukeninventaris. Alles heel netjes. Warm welkom met uitgebreide informatie over Lucca. Super locatie binnen de muren maar net buiten de toeristische kern. Enige feedback die we hebben is dat ons matras best hard was. Maar wij waren ook ziek geworden dus dat helpt niet mee aan een objectieve beeld. Zou het appartement iedereen aanraden!

A lovely property

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were gracious and very helpful and friendly. Lucca is a wonderful city for a relaxed experience of life in provicial Italy. We loved it -- in every way possible. Very highly recommended!

Beautiful Accommodation & City

Very clean, comfortable and spacious accommodation. Very central for the beautiful city. Paola was very informative and helpful and explained everything to us beautifully. Lucca is a very good base to explore Tuscany, quieter than Florence and Pisa. The train service was excellent and allowed us to explore. We would love to to come back.

Perfect spot to enjoy Lucca

We were here 5 days. Fantastic place, very clean and you can find anything you may need in a house. Comfortable and very well located to enjoy Lucca and all the surrounding towns. The owners are very kind and friendly and care about the visitor at all times. Highly recommended except if you need an elevator.

Fantastic experience!

Absolutely loved the space which was nicely updated, very comfortable, and centrally located in Lucca. Hosts were responsive, easy to communicate with, welcoming, well organized and professional. The apartment had a binder of useful info in multiple languages to guide you through the process and provide helpful tourist tips of the area. While not an issue for us it should be noted that there are 3 flights of steps to access the space. We loved Lucca and this particular stay was the highlight of our 2wk trip through Italy. The restaurant right next door had fabulous pizza and pasta, and there were a dozen other great restaurants a very short walk away. Very highly recommended!

WOW, just WOW

From the moment we entered the apartment in Lucca, we knew it was something special. It wasn't just the look of the 3rd floor apartment, it was also the cleanliness, tasteful decor and the pride that the owners had on display. The apartment is in an ideal position, close enough to the main part of town, but in a position where we could hear the beautiful birds in Villa Bottini. Vinicio and Paola are one of the most courteous and organised owners we have dealt with. We had the good fortune to meet Leonardo and this mature, well mannered young man is a credit to his parents. Just wonderful!

From the moment we arrived until we left our stay was perfect! Paola and Leonardo greeted us and gave us a thorough orientation to the unit - even how to make coffee in the moka! The location is ideal- great restaurants, close to a lovely piazza surrounded by cafés, an easy walk (without luggage) to the train station. Near the botanical garden where they were singing opera one evening. The stay was bellísima!

Der Check-In war super freundlich und flexibel, da sich unsere Anreise durch einen Flugstreik auf 21.30 Uhr verschoben hatte. Die Wohnung ist absolut ruhig und trotzdem zentral. Bäcker und Restaurants in wenigen Metern erreichbar. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist perfekt, Betten/ Matratzen super. Badezimmer mit Dachfenster und dadurch sehr hell, jedoch die Dusche ist etwas eng. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Incredible, once again!

We have stayed in this apartment for two extended stays,. and that speaks for itself! We love the property, the location, the size, and the lovely owners! It is so nice and spacious and clean! It has everything you would need to cook, and we cooked a lot since I have celiac. They even accommodated our super late arrival due to flight delays. I would and hope to stay here again in the future. It is perfect!

Superb-spacious and spotless

This vrbo was beyond our expectations- even better that represented in photos. So many thoughtful ideas make this rental feel like a home. The kitchen is great and there are lots of shops close by if you want to cook. It was very hot weather during our stay but the windows allow a cross draft - the apartment is ideally located to access all sites within the walls and is an easoealj from the train station. (Renters should be aware that there are 3 flights of stairs to enter the apartment.)

Fabulous Apartment

Our family, including two teenage girls, loved staying here. It was lovely to stay inside the wall and the apartment was laid out perfectly for 4 people. We didn’t use the kitchen but the family room and 2 bedrooms were comfortable! Great location, comfortable beds & space for us all when we were there- mostly just slept there. There are steps but it didn’t bother us.

Owing this attic insid the Walls and being a curious and open-minded person towards other cultures and habits, I decided to renovate my apartment, which owns its own idependent entrance, in order to let people visit my home town.

この宿泊施設の特徴

This lovely, spacious, bright and comfortable apartment, next to Villa Bottini, is located in an area that can be easily reached by car and it is provided with parking lots. The apartment has been recently restructured and furnished: it is on the third floor and it is made up of a spacious entrance/living-room with LCD TV and Wi-Fi, kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, microwave oven, electric oven, hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, one double bedroom, one bedroom with tow single beds, a bathroom with shower; ideal for maximum 4 people.
The apartment is defined by its typical Tuscan style thanks to cherry wood beams, chestnut wood beams and cypress wood beams paired with beige colored walls. The apartment’s position is perfect to visit Lucca and to admire Villa Bottini, Torre Guinigi and Apuane mountains.
Me or my wife, Paola, will be waiting for you in order to welcome our guests in the apartment and to consign them the keys. For any requirement you can call us on our cell phones and we’ll be there is a few minutes.
Home rules

• Animals are not allowed
• Organizing events or parties is not allowed
• Not suitable for infants (younger than 2 years old)
• Check-in: 15:00-19:00
• Check-out: until 10:00
