We had a terrific week in this home. The check-in was easy, and the house was meticulous and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was very well-equipped. We especially enjoyed the outdoor deck and the outdoor shower. There were at least a half-dozen beach chairs which we appreciated and made use of. Mark, the owner, was quick to answer any questions which we really appreciated. We would not hesitate to rent this house again.

First visit to Avalon Beach

We had a great week/stay here for our first visit to Avalon - for July 4th. We liked the location as it was an easy bike ride to heart of Avalon and in a quiet area! The house was very clean & well organized & appointed with all we needed. Mark is super responsive & very attentive to any issues (we had an issue with grill that he quickly fixed). Highly recommend!

Awesome Avalon beach stay

We had an amazing week in Avalon at this adorable house! It was the perfect spot with easy access to the beach and both shore towns on the island! Mark was easy to work with and helped make the stay very enjoyable! We will definitely return!

Avalon getaway

Our family of four had a lovely Avalon beach trip! The home was moments from the beach, had nice sunset views overlooking the bay, and was a quick bike ride into town. The deck was the perfect place to wind down and relax. The cozy home had everything we needed and more for a memorable week of family time and relaxation!

Avalon Vacation

We had a wonderful stay over the Fourth of July week. The location is great - only a short walk to the beach. The house comfortably accommodated our family of five. Communication with Mark was always very easy. He responded promptly when we had a question. Last, the amount paid was very fair compared to other properties in the area. Thanks for a great stay.

Couldn't be happier

The house and location are better than described. Everything was in great shape and super clean. Mark was super helpful, prompt, and nice. Couldn't ask for much more and we'll almost certainly be back again.

Best location!

Loved the location of this house. We biked or walked everywhere. The beach was wide open. Loved it! Will be renting again.

We rented this home for a week in July and had a fantastic experience! The host, Mark, was awesome—responsive and available anytime we had a question. The location is absolutely prime—just a short walk to the beach, even with kids and all our gear in tow. The beach itself was a hidden gem: far less crowded, beautifully maintained, and had a lifeguard on duty which gave us extra peace of mind.The house was spacious, clean, and perfect for our family. We especially loved the private outdoor shower after a day in the sand—it was a game changer. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked—honestly, it had more supplies than my own home!One thing to note (and something we later learned is common on the East Coast): the house didn’t include linens or many towels. We were a group of five and only had two sets of towels and no washcloths. Just something to plan for ahead of time.All in all, we had a great vacation and would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely as Usual

We all enjoyed our vacation. There was plenty to do. Location was very convenient to town and shopping. Fishing and crabbing across the road. You are literally 1 block between ocean and Bay. House was immaculate. Owner was courteous and helpful. Great place to relax and spend your vacation.

Comfy house for a beach vacation!

Mark’s house is perfect for a family trip to Avalon. Mark is a very communicative host and the place is tidy and comfortable.

Perfect vacation spot!

The house was pristine with new carpeting and living room furniture. All the beds in the house were very comfortable and nicely decorated. We had visitors from out of state visit one afternoon and they enjoyed the house and beach with us. We walked 1 block to ocean every day and enjoyed the local restaurants and activities the area provided. Mark, the owner, was extremely helpful with any questions we had and was so personable. He was available and easily reachable if we had a question. Will definitely return to this perfect getaway. Bonnie & family

Absolutely wonderful accommodations with a fantastic owner!

We stayed at Mark's property for 2 weeks this summer (2021) and had an absolutely wonderful time! Mark is the proud owner of this fantastic house. He takes great deal of pride in this home, while kindly "sharing" it with others to enjoy. The location is wonderful, the amenities are great, and the space both indoor and outdoors accommodates many people very comfortably. We sat up to 10 people around the kitchen table for dinner one or two nights. The outdoor deck was a huge plus along with the comfortable hammock that is provided for your lounging. I honestly could go on and on about this property and Mark... We are hoping to be able to return in the years ahead!

Repeat renter home just perfect

absolutely limited stock in Avalon and this is a gem. Rented 2 years in a row, 1 block from bay, 12 houses from beach. Mark is incredibly meticulous and attentive to your needs. He lives locally if you have an issue he addresses it quickly. Maybe we will 3peat and visit again next year!

Amazing

We can't say enough about this property in avalon (Beach Town in NJ) .extremely clean and has everything we need. Pefectly located looking to the bay and 10 houses to the beach. Mark the owner is super great and helpful. We are going back next year and hopefully we can stay again at mark's place.

Great stay

Our stay was wonderful. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in until the minute we left. The house makes for a great vacation house. Close walk to beach, outdoor shower, outdoor deck, well-stocked kitchen. We hope to visit again!

Amazing stay in Avalon!!

Home was well appointed and only a short trip 12 houses to beach. We spent everyday at the beach and some nights we watched the sunset over the bay right across the street from the marina. The home had everything you would need for a week. Mark checked in periodically to make sure everything was perfect, the personal touch was much appreciated

Clean house, very attentive owner

Mark is very attentive. Prompt reply to all messages. House is well stocked and clean. Great house for our family of four. We only used 2 of the 3 bedrooms. Cable, wifi, grill and deck are nice amenities. We walked to 60th to access the beach to be closer to the guards. Quiet street and partial views on bay sunsets.

Great family beach rental

House location is great. Very quiet street and close to the beach. Within biking distance to Avalon or Stone Harbor. House was very clean, which was nice to see especially since we were towards the end of the season. The house was stocked with all the little extras you need, but sometimes forget (soap, salt pepper, trash bags, etc). Back deck and furniture were very nice. Inside the kitchen and dining (8-person table) were great. Plenty of space downstairs for our family and day guests. Upstairs rooms are all good size, very comfortable beds, plenty of closet/dresser space.

Great Location!

We stayed in Mark's home in Avalon in early August and it was the perfect set up for our family of 5. (2 adults, 3 teenagers). The house is as described in the listing, new furniture is on the back deck and there is a well stocked shed for beach gear. House is very clean, comfortable beds, and a well stocked kitchen. The location is fantastic, nice and quiet yet accessible to all Avalon has to offer. The owner was accessible and very supportive with any questions and requests. Mark went above and beyond for our family! Thank you Mark!

Great house in awesome proximity to Avalon and Stone Harbor

We had a great time staying at this property. There was a small issue with the A/C, but it was fixed by the owner who was very quick to rectify the problem. The new furniture on the back deck was great and we liked that it had a nice spacious outdoor shower. TV worked great so we could watch some of the Women's World Cup. Kitchen was spacious and loved the counter top space! We'd definitely rent again!

Great Avalon Rental

We had a wonderful week in this lovely home. The house is well appointed with great storage space, no clutter. Beds were very comfortable. Living room and kitchen are spacious and have more than enough space for 9. We even had dinner guests! TV/cable worked well even though we did not use them much. Mark was quick in responding to questions and you can tell he cares for this home. It is immaculate. We have been renting with VRBO for years and would definitely rent this house again!

A wonderful week!

We loved our stay at Mark's home! My family and I have been renting in Avalon for 20+ years and have always used a realtor. This was our first time renting by owner on the island and it worked out perfectly! This house had everything we needed. He stocked it very well and upon our arrival it was extremely clean and comfortable. He was also great with keeping in touch whenever I had a question. Location is also great....cross over Dune Dr to a nice path to one of the larger sections of beach in Avalon. We would definitley stay at this home on 59th again !
