Villa Oasi al mare near the sea with pool, Melendugno, Italy

On the outskirts of the lovely town of Torre dell’Orso, this contemporary villa is surrounded by walls which give guests total privacy. The villa encourages indoor and outdoor living as it has a beautifully appointed garden, complete with a raised swimming pool and gazebo dining area. Just minutes from the beach, it is an ideal spot for families or friends looking for a relaxed holiday in the sun.

The villa sleeps up to 8 people and is spread over a single floor. The open-plan living area is flooded with light thanks to large windows which bring the outside space indoors. There is a sofa and flat-screen TV as well as two dining tables and two sets of French windows which lead out to the terrace and swimming pool. The kitchenette is just off the dining area, separated by a half wall, which makes serving a breeze. The kitchenette is equipped with an induction hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee machine.

The outdoor space for the villa has been created with as much care and attention as the interiors. There are several separate areas for relaxing and dining as well as a BBQ for cooking al fresco.
On the deck next to the swimming pool, there are deck chairs and seats where guests can relax after a refreshing swim.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a contemporary double bed, a dressing table and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom has an attractive wood double bed and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 3: This simple bedroom has two single beds (which can be joined), a wardrobe and an en suite bathroom.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a double bed.

Bathroom 1: The independent bathroom is equipped with a shower, bidet, basin and WC.
Bathroom 2: This en suite bathroom has a shower, bidet, basin and WC.
Extra: There is an additional bathroom with a WC and a washing machine.

Location
The villa is close Torre dell’Orso, which is known for its fine sandy beaches and crystal-clear sea. The beach (2 minutes) is particularly good for families with children, as the beach slopes gently into the water. There are several beach clubs, which suit different ages and interests. The town is a laid-back resort with supermarkets, smaller shops and many excellent restaurants which will suit all budgets and tastes.

For more adventures, there are plenty of places to explore. The city of Lecce is blessed with wonderful Baroque architecture as well as Roman ruins. It is a jewel of a city and well worth a visit. Not only for its long history but also for its excellent food and good shopping.

For a wide range of local produce, the twice-weekly market in Lecce (30 minutes) is a treasure trove of the finest regional produce from fish, vegetables and fruit to olive oil and cheese.

To get into nature the WWF nature reserve of Le Cesine is just 20 minutes from the villa. Or for golfers, there are 2 golf clubs near the town of Acaya (25 minutes)

The closest airport is at Brindisi - just over an hour away by car.
