The location of this property is second to none! It’s literally steps from everything you could possibly want to see in Monopoli’s historic center yet it’s quiet at night. Two very manageable flights of stairs to reach front door. A bright sweet kitchen (purchase your own food and spices) greets you then two spacious bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a great shower. Each bedroom and bath have great windows and natural light. The bedrooms also have A/C units. We used the washer in the kitchen to do our clothes then hung them out the window to dry. We also cooked breakfast a couple of mornings. The only thing I would rate as deficient about this apartment are the beds - they are only ok at best. They are coil mattresses and not comfortable. At the suggestion of the host we spent a day at Lido Macramè (beach club) which was fantastic. About 30 euros per person. Last, be sure to visit Vico, a wine & fish bar a short walk from the apartment. Paola the owner and her son are the best! And she offers full breakfast in the morning! Eggs, bacon and pancakes if you’d like!!!
