Thank you for taking the time to review The Okeanos. The black pipe on the beach was part of beach renbourishment that replenishes the sand from erosion. The renourishment has been completed and the black pipe removed. We hope despite this neccessary beach work that everyone was able to enjoy beautiful Folly Beach.

We consider guest feedback a critical part of our operation, especially during the summer, as our time in the homes is limited to a short window of time just once a week and information provided by those living in the homes for extended periods of time is necessary for smooth operation. That being said, our goal is for each of our guests to have a seamless and relaxing experience. We are a local team that works diligently to address concerns and accommodate requests during our guests' stays. This particular cleaning company typically preforms at a high level and sincerley apologize that the home was not up to their usual standards. We have provied this feedback to them to ensure future guest have a seamless and relaxing stay. We hope that despite this disruption that everyone enjoyed beautiful Folly Beach. Thank you

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations and that several issues impacted your stay. First and foremost, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused upon arrival. Not having full access codes upfront is unacceptable, and we’ve already reviewed and updated our check-in communication to ensure this doesn’t happen again. We also regret the condition of the home didn’t reflect the standards we strive to maintain. While our team does perform regular inspections, it's clear that several items were missed or need more urgent attention, including the blinds, porch screen, furniture, and fan wiring. These are now being addressed directly with our maintenance and cleaning staff. We’re truly sorry that the state of the home took away from the great location and potential of the space.
