The home felt welcoming and comfortable overall. Once we entered the home, my family and I immediately felt safe and relaxed after traveling for a long time. We were very glad to borrow the kitchen to make home-cooked meals, use available rooms to organize our clothes and kids' clothes, and play with the kids' toys Merrin provided. I would reserve this home again when we return to Boulder, CO.

The location is perfect for hiking and walk g to coffee shop and local market . Quiet street. We lived our stay . The host was easy to talk with and was very helpfull. She gave suggestions on places to eat and hike.

The host was extremely welcoming, and going beyond! The home was perfect for our visit to see our son’s new hometown! Everything was perfect and we hope to stay again soon! Especially liked the boosted hot water for soaking and showering, and the beautiful piano.

Such a beautiful, light filled house with a peaceful back deck off the kitchen and off the primary suite too. Our host couldn't have been nicer. It was super clean and well equipped. And, literally two blocks away from a beautiful park in the foothills of North Boulder - Wonderland Trail. Walking distance to some great restaurants and bakeries. We had a fabulous time.

Great property. Very inviting & accommodating. Quiet area with a park within 5 minutes walking distance for kids. You can be most anywhere in town within 5-7 minutes. Great communication with the owner. Very nice and wants the renters to have a good experience.

The owner was great. She called before our trip and gave us all the information and insights we needed about the house and neighborhood. She also called during our trip to check on our stay.The house is a three-story, five-bedroom home. Only two of the bedrooms on the second floor, which share a bathroom, are rented out, along with access to the living room, kitchen, and dining area on the first floor. A powder room on the first floor would have been nice.This is the owner's residence, so it feels more like a home and less like a full-time rental, which has its benefits, including a pantry full of spices and cooking supplies. My daughter baked some brownies and needed extra flour, which was available in the pantry.The neighborhood is quiet and lovely. Overall, it was a great house, and I would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed at our stay at The Riverside House. Great location with a little shopping center to walk to and easy to get to University of Colorado. House was very comfortable for 3 or us to stay in for graduation week!

Great location! Nice neighborhood with easy walk to amenities and trails. Easy drive to the national park. Take the Old Fall River Road to the top at RMNP if it is open. We saw moose and elk and many amazing views on the way to 12,000 ft. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband, daughter, and her 10 month old had an amazing visit in Boulder, much of which was the result of our stay at The Riverside House. The home is so welcoming and stocked better than any rental we’ve ever stayed in! Merrin is an excellent host; timely responses, and going over and above by leaving toys for the little one, etc. We hope to stay in her beautiful home again someday, if she’ll have us! The location was perfect!

This large older home is in a lovely very peaceful North Boulder neighborhood with mature trees, a small adjacent creek, lots of bunnies, and two decks to enjoy the setting. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the pantry well stocked. Both bedrooms and the bathroom are on the second floor. Readers and musicians will find special treats.Lucky's Market and Bake House are a short walk away. As is Dagabi Cucina. All are excellent. An underpass just down the street connects to Wonderland Lake. Merrin is a very thoughtful host, attentive, and delightful to communicate with. We'd be happy to return on another visit to Boulder.

Lovely home that is obviously well taken care of. We appreciated the location and quiet lot. Not a huge deal, but a few things to be aware of that I don't think are clearly mentioned in the listing: - You are only getting a portion of the house. There is a whole floor that is locked. - The living room is fine, but there is no coffee table and minimal seating. - The kitchen is PACKED with things because this is the owner's primary residence. There is no where to put food or your own items. - There is no bathroom on the first floor. - As this is the owner's primary residence, she receives packages at the address and comes by. - There is no key pad for entry. You will need to get keys from a hiding spot and keep up with them.

Interestingly, we have recently discussed the option of moving to a touch code entrance rather than using keys. In addition, it was a good reminder to share the location of the empty cupboard and lazy Susan area for guest food supplies, and of course the empty refrigerator. I will take a close look at the listing and make sure the layout, amenities, and access details are described as clearly as possible so future guests know exactly what to expect. Your input is genuinely helpful, and I appreciate it as we continue working to improve the guest experience.

We loved Boulder and the Riverside house. The location was perfect and Merrin was extremely helpful with suggestions of great things to do (and eat) near the home. We highly recommend The Riverside House.

Oh it’s an amazing place to stay. The home is clean, comfortable and well maintained. The Host was super friendly and accommodating. We felt very much at home. The neighborhood walkability is the cherry on top. Food market, cafe and coffee is a short walk away. And then the hiking trail is right around the corner. Perfect!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The house had all the comforts of home and then more. It’s location was great for morning walks with a lovely pastry place close by for a treat! We will be back!

I have lived in Boulder, Colorado since 1976, escaping Southern California at the tender age of 20, and discovering the strength and healing nature of this area. I have loved this house since 1990. It has seen many years and chapters of my life. My husband and I are anticipating wonderful travels in our Airstream, and want to share The Riverside House with you while we are on our own adventures.

This house felt like "home" the moment I pulled up into the driveway to consider it for purchase in 1990. It is in a quiet, residential neighborhood, complete with kind neighbors, and has views of a gorgeous, private park with a gentle stream running through it. The feeling of spaciousness and nature grace this home, inside and out.

Nestled in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, The Riverside House enjoys both a sense of natural spaciousness and a proximity to fabulous conveniences. Your eyes rest on the views of trees, park, and open space as you dine or sit at the kitchen counter. Only a half block to the west, you will walk under a tunnel and emerge with a well-deserved sigh as you take in uninterrupted views of meadow and mountain. The gentle trail embraces Wonderland Lake and you have opportunity to wander beyond (if you want to make a more ambitious hike of your morning stroll). A short, 5-minute walk south finds all the desired conveniences of grocery, coffee shop, bakery house, dry cleaners, breakfast cafe, liquor store, Chinese, Italian, Mexican restaurants, and more. In addition, the Riverside House is only a block and a half from the convenient bus stop that will carry you to the heart of downtown Boulder (and the Pearl Street Mall) in 10 minutes, or north to Lyons if you wish. This is an ideal location on so many levels, and if you never leave the house, you will find yourself surrounded in comfort and convenience as well.
