L'appartamento si trova al primo piano, accessibile tramite una corte comune ed è stato ristrutturato recentemente con materiali di bio edilizia.
L'area è silenziosa e circondata dalla campagna. In 15 minuti si può raggiungere a piedi un parco da dove passa un fiume. Sempre a piedi in 20 minuti si può raggiungere il centro della città. Poi essendo circondato dalla campagna si possono fare nei dintorni belle e rilassanti passeggiate, passando da tipiche e antiche strade e in mezzo a campi di olivi.
Con i mezzi pubblici si raggiunge il centro sono in 10 minuti. Il casello autostradale e la super strada per Siena sono distanti pochi km. E questo lo rende ideale per le escursioni nelle campagne vicine come il Chianti.
Nelle vicinanze ci sono negozi vari. Per mangiare ci sono 2 pizzerie molto buone, una buona trattoria casalinga, una rosticceria. Per fare la spesa 2 supermercati e un mercato in piazza tutti i giorni della settimana (a circa 1,5 chilometri).

Cozy and out of the way but easy to get to everything

We loved staying at Marco's place. He met us personally to get us settled in and oriented. His place is charming and nice. I, personally, LOVED having a playable piano to tinker with during my travels. It's very easy to get around via the city buses. The place is a quick walk to several major bus routes that take you to the heart of the city or to the train station making transportation an almost negligible expense. A couple neighborhood markets sell wine and food, plus the pizza place there is also very good. There is a large supermarket about a 10 minute walk or a quick bus ride away. All very convenient. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

First of all, the description of Marco Dani‘s lovely abode was completely accurate. It is cozy, clean, and made our stay quite comfortable. It is in an older part of Florence that provided an extra view into the culture, which was just what we were looking for. Marco met us when we arrived, and then we met with him before we left and feel that we have made a new friend. He was available to answer questions, give us tips about shopping and riding the bus, plus he helped me with phrases in Italian that proved to be very useful. Additionally, we met his lovely neighbor, which also helped us to feel right at home. In future trips to Italy, we will connect with Marco again!
