A charming and relaxing Cotswolds retreat

Wyck Cottage is nestled in a beautiful Cotswolds village. The most charming stay, with friendly neighbours and so much to do nearby. Stow and Bourton are close by with fabulous restaurants and walks. We had a lovely weekend, making memories

Great Cotswold cottage

We stayed in this cottage for the entire month of December. It is centrally located in the Cotswolds, which makes it a great base for day trips. The cottage was clean and well equipped. We had a great day and would return if our travel takes us back to the area.

Felt like fairytale

We recently stayed at Wyck Cottage with our family (2 adults & 2 kids) and had a wonderful experience. The place truly felt like something out of a fairytale beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm. It was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The amenities were excellent, and everything was thoughtfully prepared. The service team were responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay, which made the experience even smoother. We genuinely enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend it to others.

Birthday weekend

Overall a very nice part of the world and a charming property. It worked well as a quiet base while in the Cotswolds. Family loved it. Only negative if you can view it as a negative is the tight access to the upper bathroom or the shower room. If you have mobility issues, not the best. For everyone else, part of the charm of a lovely cottage that you’re more than willing to ignore. Would recommend.

Charming stay at Wyck Cottage

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Wyck Cottage in the Cotswolds. The cottage was beautiful, cosy, full of charm and set in a picturesque quaint village, it was the perfect blend of traditional character and modern comfort. The location was ideal and close to everything you would want to explore in the Cotswolds from scenic walks to local pubs and shops. Whether you are looking for a romantic break or a peaceful countryside break Wyck Cottage is a fantastic choice. We will definitely be back soon.

A very lovely cottage and very comfortable

Our impression as soon as we walked in, and looked around was that it is a very lovely cottage. It's size belies the impression from the outside. The lounge is very cosy, with a sofa and armchair which are both very comfortable. It is well lit with the lights on. The dining room is a very handy distance between the lounge and the kitchen. The main bedroom has a super large, spacious bed which I was happy to stay in when I awoke. So comfortable. The main bathroom is upstairs in the roof, accessed via a smaller staircase. The only point is that the roof closes down the room you have on the stairs so it's a little more difficult to access, but once you've done it a couple of times you can navigate it easily enough. The other bedroom has two single beds which again are very comfortable and the en-suite toilet and shower was just right. As a location it isn't far from Bourton-On-The-Water, which is a beautiful place to visit. I loved it and would have no problem staying here again.

With your comments, about the room on the stairs, we have a 3D tour available on our website, which shows the height above. Also under the points of note section, we state "Wyck Cottage has a number of low beams and steep, narrow stairs, in particular up to the second floor en-suite, please mind your heads".
