Tower of the Swiss

The Torre degli Svizzeri is a charming historic building dating back to the 1400s.
It is one of the five defensive towers in the village of Civezza, and the only one that is perfectly preserved.
Relax and enjoy the view of the charming little square in front of you as you observe the slow-paced country life that characterizes the residents of this village.
Civezza is a historic medieval village, nestled among
olive trees, vineyards, and Mediterranean scrub in the early
Ligurian hinterland, with a view of the sea, which is only 4
km away.
It is a typical Ligurian village, where stone houses with colorful stucco
line the Carugio Dritu, which runs
from the parish church to our tower.


The two-room apartment consists of a living area with a dining area and kitchenette, a sofa bed, and an open cabinet with a TV. The sofa bed is a French-style one-and-a-half-person bed. The living area opens directly onto the outdoors through a large glass door.
A small hallway leads to the windowless bathroom, which features a sink, toilet, and walk-in shower.
The bedroom, with a quiet view of a side alley, features a double bed with a clothes rack and a luggage rack.

Check-in is available starting at 4:00 p.m., while
check-out must take place by 10:00 a.m. For
special requests, we can make
special arrangements, and we’ll be happy to accommodate you.

You’ll find yourself in a place full of charm and history. Cell phones may not have service in all areas of the house, but you can still stay connected to the world via Wi-Fi. Since this is a historic village in the countryside, the speed and range of the network are very limited.
Smoking is prohibited in the Torre degli Svizzeri, and there is a smoke detector and a portable fire extinguisher
for your safety.
Pets are not allowed in the Tower.
