Expedia put us on to you. You demanded photos of drivers licence and self, which had not previously been explained. The description of the property can best be described as obfuscation. No mention of the 44 steep stairs to reach the apartment. No mention of the bed that (urgently) needs replacing or the pillows that are well past their use by date. No mention of the suspect cleaning - glasses in the cupboard sticking to the shelf. No mention of soap left by previous guests being provided for our use. No mention of the bathroom vanity tap needing fixing. No mention of the bedside lamps not being plugged into the powerpoint and the powerpoint being inaccessible to guests behind the bed. And the bizarre: 19 forks provided for a dining table seating 4; a microwave in an unopened box in the living room. And confusing instructions - e.g. try something simple like 'to access the (tight) parking space, drive UP the ramp, turn left immediately before the barrier, swipe your card and the roller door will open'.
