Formally part of the prestigious Sedgeford Hall Estate and dating back to the 1800s, this charming cottage is the perfect base for families and groups of friends to enjoy a magnificent Norfolk coastal adventure. Located in the Norfolk Coast National Landscape the sleepy village of Sedgeford offers the very best of countryside living and an excellent base for exploring the delights of North Norfolk’s coastline. Keen outdoor explorers can join the National Cycle Route 1, which passes through the village or enjoy a long walk along the peaceful, traffic-free Peddars Way trail passing just outside the village to be rewarded with wonderful countryside views. Coast-lovers will be spoilt for choice with stripey cliffs, rolling dunes, sand and shingle, salt and clay marshes, and harbours to explore; the Victorian charm of Hunstanton and natural beauty of Heacham can both be reached within 5 miles.
At the end of a busy day’s expedition, head through the charming cottage-style door into the delightful kitchen/diner decorated in contemporary farmhouse style that reflects the rich history of the cottage. Steps on the right of the kitchen/diner lead down to the stylish family bathroom, which provides everything needed to feel refreshed from sunrise to sunset. To the left of the kitchen/diner, the cosy lounge is filled with rustic touches like flagstone flooring, ceiling beams, and exposed brickwork reminiscent of days gone by. During cooler months, light the roaring feature wood burner to keep toes warm long into the evening. Sharing the same charm and character as the ground floor, the super king-size bedroom, double bedroom, and bunk bedroom on the first floor offer a tranquil retreat for a peaceful rest.
