Please read bottom line

Being in a traditional building, the apartment occupies an attic and has free wi fi, room with couple bed, living room with a sofa bed for two persons, private bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen.

The ceiling of this cute attic is lower at the borders which makes the place very cozy, authentic and charming.

My Charming Casa à Lisbonne is located in the heart of the Mouraria district, just a five minutes walk from the Metro station Martim Moniz (green line connecting the Portela Airport and Railway Station Santa Apolonia), bus terminal, taxis and the famous tram 28. Martim Moniz Square there has an underground public parking.

Also a five minute walk, are the Martim Moniz and Figueira squares, Rossio and Restauradores and, a little after, Bairro Alto and Chiado.
To Castle Saint Jorge, Graça and Alfama, with its magnificent sights of the city, the path is going up, so it is necessary to count on 10-15 minutes walk.

Near My Charming Casa à Lisbonne, there is everything you might need: stores, markets and supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, hospital, police station, etc.

If you want to go to the beaches of Costa da Caparica using public transport, river terminal Transtejo, it is a 20 minutes pleasant walk along the Tagus estuary (or faster using the subway). It is also in Cais do Sodre that is located the railway terminal of Cascais giving access to several beaches and the beautiful town of Cascais. Rossio has the train station to Sintra, just seven minutes walk.

The reception is ensured by the owner or a family member, and we do adapt the check-in hour according to your needs.

The owner lives nearby and is always contactable by phone for any clarification or assistance you need.

Attic apartment

The location, view, bed and communication with owners were good. The kitchen, living area and bathroom were challenging. The ceilings in the bathroom and kitchen were so low we had to duck carefully to keep from hitting our heads and we are not tall people. The sofa was very hard for sitting any length of time. The kitchen table can seat only one because the other side was under the steep ceiling slope.

Appartement atypique, mais confortable

Nous avons séjourné pendant 6 jours à cet appartement dans le cadre de vacances mère-fille. Nous avons apprécié notre expérience. Mélanie était très disponible durant tout le séjour et nous pouvions communiquer avec elle en tout temps pour des questions. L'appartement est assez petit, mais tout ce qui est nécessaire y est. En effet, il faut faire attention à nos tête! Les plafonds sont bas ou pentes considérant que nous sommes situés au dernier étage de l'immeuble dans le grenier, mais cela fait le charme de l'appartement :). L'appartement est bien équipé (air climatisé que nous n'avons pas eu besoin, télévision, poêle, ustensiles, verres, etc.). Il manque cependant une cafetière (alors que c'était inscrit dans les équipements) et il faut noter que nous n'avons pas accès à un four (plaques de cuisson uniquement). Cela dit, nous nous sommes adaptés à la situation et cela n'a pas été un inconvénient. Le lit est très confortable et il y a la possibilité de faire un deuxième lit avec le canapé. Cela dit, je crois qu'à 3 personnes, on se sentirait un peu à l'étroit. La laveuse est également agréable considérant que nous avions un séjour de 6 jours et que nous arrivions de Porto. La vue du toit est tout simplement magnifique et cela est agréable de prendre un verre en regardant le château du haut. L'appartement est en général assez tranquille (dernier étage), mais il y a eu quelques soirs où des spectacles dans la rue plus loin rendaient l'appartement un peu plus bruyant durant la fin de soirée/nuit. Cela dépend probablement du moment de l'année par contre ! Je conseillerais donc moins aux personnes avec un sommeil très léger pendant les périodes plus occupées de l'année. Les marches pour se rendre à l'appartement sont très étroites et pas du tout appropriées pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Pour les autres, cela demande juste un peu d'effort supplémentaire à la fin des journées de marche :). On s'habitue assez rapidement et cela n'est pas un obstacle. En somme, je recommande l'appartement à un couple ou 2 personnes qui sont en visite à Lisbonne pour quelques jours. L'appartement est très bien situé (à 5 min du métro/tram et à 10 min de toutes les principales attractions) et conforme aux photos.

Die Ferienwohnung für Heimwerkerinnen und Heimwerker

Erst einmal das Positive: Die Wohnung ist zentral und günstig gelegen. Man kann gut und ruhig schlafen. Gut, weil die Matratze das ermöglicht und ruhig weil sich die Wohnung in einer kleinen Seitengasse im 4. Stock befindet. Es gibt eine neue Waschmaschine, die einwandfrei funktioniert. Ansonsten ist „der Einstieg“ (Türe wäre übertrieben) ins Bad ein Abenteuer. Wie fast überall in der Whg. gibt es da eine Dachschräge und eine klemmende Schiebetür mit einem ausgesägten Eck (Schräge). Das Bad ist alt, funktioniert aber. Die Balkontür lässt sich nicht mehr schließen, da die Führung für die Schieber abgebrochen oder verbogen ist. Das störte uns nicht, im vierten Stock wird schon niemand einsteigen. Ein neuer Anstrich würde Fenster- und Türrahmen nicht schaden. Da ist das Bild sehr aufgehübscht. Es gibt einen Freisitz auf dem Dach mit Ausstieg durch das Küchenfenster und einem tollen Blick auf die Stadt und die Burg. Wer schwindelfrei und beweglich ist, hat etwas davon. Wir haben uns raus getraut weil eine ausreichend hohe Mauer das Dach rundum absichert. Aus dem Holzboden guckten einige Nägel heraus. Mein Mann hat sie mit Pflastern verarztet, zwecks Schadensbegrenzung. Die Küchenzeile befindet sich ebenfalls unter einer Dachschräge. Nur vor den zwei Kochplatten kann man aufrecht stehen, wenn man sich „reingefädelt“ hat. Wer also beweglich ist und das auch bleiben will und ein wenig handwerklich begabt ist: Nur zu!

Agréable séjour

Bien situé à proximité du métro et du centre ville. Maison atypique spéciale pour personne de taille < à 1m70 (c'est notre cas). Vue exceptionnelle sur le château Santo Jorge et les toits de la ville assis sur le toit. Seul bémol, la gâche de la porte d'entrée qui nous oblige à la patience car elle s'ouvre qu'après plusieurs tentatives... Mais pour le reste très bon séjour et propriétaire attentionné le jour de notre arrivée.

Petit appartement cosy et atypique. Très fonctionnel. Situé dans un quartier à proximité de tout les monuments à visiter ainsi que du métro et du tram. Mélanie est très accueillante et de bon conseil.

Kleine, zentrale Wonung im Zentrum von Lissabon

Die Wohnung liegt in einer ganz kleinen Seitenstraße im Maurenviertel unter dem Dach. Alles - U-Bahn, Tram, Busse, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten - ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Wohnung ist eng mit vielen Schrägen, für große Leute weniger geeignet. Die Bereiche sind nicht voneinander abgetrennt. Das breite französische Bett ist bequem. Von der Küche hat man einen schönen Blick auf die Burg. Die Küche ist zum Kochen nicht sehr geeignet, nur 2 Kochplatten und sehr kleiner Tisch. Zum Frühstücken reicht es aber. Alles hat funktioniert. Internet ist ausreichend schnell und zuverlässig. Insgesamt passt der Begriff "urig". Etwas stressig: Das Haustürschloß ist hakelig und benötigte eine Eingewöhnungszeit. Die Abwicklung war aud Englisch und sehr zuverlässig und freundlich

Cozy, Cute, Great location

"Hobbit House" is the perfect description for this apartment. It is very small, but that makes it cozy! If you are very tall, it might not be the place for you. The apartment is walking distance to Carmo Convent, Castelo de Sao Jorge, Roman Theater, Chiado Museum and the Rossio train station as well as many of the beautiful squares. There is a beautiful view from the kitchen window of the Sao Jorge Castle and the beautiful roofs of Lisbon. Maria is a great host!

Séjour de deux adultes et un ado . L'appartement est très bien équipé pour les courts et longs séjours . Tram et épiceries en bas de la rue , métro à 5 mn à pieds sur la place Martim Moniz . Seul regret ...ne pas avoir croisé Maria .L'accueil a très bien été assuré par son époux . Mais rassurez vous , si vous ne la voyez pas , Maria sera quand même disponible pour vous indiquer un bon restaurant , caché dans une petite ruelle .(Merci encore pour cette bonne adresse ) .

Die Wohnung ist klein aber fein. Die Wohnung war wirklich sauber, perfekt wi-fi, hübsch eingerichet. Die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge, liegt ganz zentral. Vermiterin Maria ist sehr nett und super freundlich.

Super, en plein coeur du vieux Lisbonne

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil de Maria pour notre séjour de 8 jours à Lisbonne. Appartement très cosy, propre bien entretenu, lit très confortable, rien ne manque, il y a même le parasol que nous avons baladé dans le métro et le train pour aller à Praia Carcavelos et Cascais. Idéalement situé près du métro Martim Moniz (5mn) et à proximité de la gare de Rossio (Pour Sintra) et de Cais do Sodré (Cascais). Le quartier ne manque pas de restos. Nous nous sommes déplacés durant ces 8 jours à pied, métro, tram, train et c'était très facile. C'est avec plaisir que nous rentrions le soir, A recommander . Michel

Hobby appart a contribué a un séjour extra a Lisbonne sa situation géographique hyper central a proximité de tout gare, tram, bus, supermarket et la place martim moniz pour boire des coup !!!! Appart propre agreable et calme.Bonne literie rien ne manque pour un sejour de 7 jours. L'accueil, la gentillesse et l'efficacité de Maria et très agréable. ideal für kurzen Aufenthalt

Wir haben drei Nächte in dieser Wohnung verbracht. Man findet alles was man braucht, die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Leider hatten wir mit den vielen Dachschrägen zu kämpfen, es ist sehr verwinkelt, aber trotzdem sehr gemütlich! Da die Wohnung im Dachgeschoß liegt, ist sie etwas schwieriger zu Erreichen - über ein steiles und enges Stiegenhaus - mit viel Gepäck oder für ältere Personen nur mühsam zu erreichen. Die Lage ist ideal, man hat einen traumhaften Ausblick auf das Castelo und kann viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen. Von der Vermieterin haben wir einige Tipps erhalten, sie ist sehr nett und war rund um die Uhr erreichbar. Nicht so toll fanden wir, dass der Kühlschrank nicht geleert wurde und wir Schwierigkeiten mit dem Warmwasser hatten. Alles in allem können wir die Wohnung für einen kürzeren Aufenthalt weiterempfehlen. :) O&I

A Lisbona a casa di Maria

La casa di Maria è in una posizione facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi e molto comoda per esplorare a piedi i quartieri centrali limitrofi. A breve distanza ci sono tram e metro. L'appartamento è piccolo ma pulito e ben curato. La cucina è molto attrezzata e dispone di una bella vista sul castello. Si tratta di una piccola mansarda ma completa di tutto il necessario. Maria è molto disponibile e i contatti prima della partenza e durante il soggiorno sono stati ottimi. Più che raccomandato. Stefano e Paola

Soggiorno perfetto

L'appartamento si trova in una zona centrale, comodissima per visitare la città a piedi o coi mezzi (metro e 28 sotto casa). Das Appartment liegt wunderbar zentral im Herzen Lissabons. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und entgegenkommen. Auf alle Fragen gibt es Antworten. Die Betreuung war vom Zeitpunkt der Buchung über die Abfahrt hinaus ideal. Die Wohnunh war wirklich sauber und gemütlich, die Nachbarn freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Aussicht vom Dach ist einfach traumhaft... Ich würde immer wieder diese Wohnung buchen!!

Süße Wohnung, super gelegen, sehr nette Gastgeberi

Zunächst: Alles super! Maria hat uns in Empfang genommen, alles gezeigt und zwischendurch Tipps per Mail gesendet, was wir in Lissabon alles machen können. Die Wohnung ist im Dachgeschoss und ziemlich klein, nichts für sehr große Leute also! Dank Klimaanlage lässt es sich dort zu jeder Zeit gut aushalten, es gibt eine Waschmaschine und sonst auch alles, was man braucht. Die Wohung liegt unglaublich zentral und aus dem Küchenfenster hat man einen herrlichen Ausblick!

Excelente apartamento

Foi uma ótima escolha. Fiquei quinze dias neste pequeno apartamento. Me senti em casa. Cozinha toda equipada para quem quer cozinhar, tudo limpo e bem organizado, a vista da janela da cozinha eh maravilhosa. Como era inverno e estava frio pude comprovar que o aquecimento funcionava muito bem, mantendo todo o apartamento aquecido. Como eh no ultimo andar, algumas partes do teto são baixas e ate me acostumar bati um pouco a cabeça. A Maria foi extremamente gentil e amável, sempre atendendo minhas solicitações. Perto do comercio, restaurantes, vida noturna e transporte. Eu recomendo.

We really enjoyed staying at the Hobbit House. Maria gave us a warm welcome and would help with every question we had. The flat is small but cosy...The view was lovely. The location was gretae becuase everything was easily reached be feet. Thanks once more for everything!!!
