We had a great stay, the property was nice, and the parking spot was marked and right out front. The walk to the beach was a little longer than we were used to but it was fine with our 2 year old. The two pools and baby pool were nice. The view was great and you can see boats/ships pass by. It is located in a nice area, not busy, and quick to get to food and shops. The check in and out process was quick and easy. We will definitely look at staying here again.

The condo was adequate for our family of 4. It’s close to a beach which is nice for sunrise or sunset walks but not so great for swimming. North beach isn’t far and is fantastic. The condo just lacks basic amenities which would be nice for folks on a beach vacation flying in. We had to buy beach chairs, beach towels, shampoo and conditioner all things that then got left behind. The coffee maker is depicted as a Keurig so we bought coffee accordingly and when arriving it was actually a standard coffee maker. All in all the place is nice, but some basic amenities would be helpful.

Thank you for sharing such thoughtful and detailed feedback. We are glad the condo worked for your family and that you enjoyed the nearby beach and North Beach. We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused by the missing beach items and the coffee maker mismatch, and we understand how frustrating that can be when flying in. Your comments about amenities and accuracy of listings are very helpful, and we will review them carefully to improve the experience for future guests.

WONDERFUL LOCATION!

If you want a property as close to the beach as possible, but yet within walking distance of activities, look no further. I will definitely stay at this exact condominium once again-We had the greatest week. It was also such a quiet/safe feeling location. Tybee Island really is a hidden gem.

Tybee time terrific

We had a great stay, this is a fantastic location. Only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is because the furniture is uncomfortable and they need to add an additional armchair. Otherwise it is 5 stars and I'm sure they will correct the furniture situation. Very short jaunt to the beach which we loved!! This condo had everything we needed. Quiet part of the beach, which we loved!

Tybee Island getaway

The beach associated with the property is very private and not crowded. The unit was good for our family of 5. We used both bedrooms and the pullout sofa for sleeping. All appliances worked well and the temperature control in the unit was great. Our girls love the pool as there were 3 options to choose from. We loved the proximity to the precious lighthouse and the local restaurants. You honestly can’t beat the location. A very fun trip for our family!

Girls week!

Property was as described. Beach was great lots of marine life. Rented bikes to get around island from Tims. Did a kayak tour with Shane at North kayaks and a boat tour with Bennet at Georgia Coast tours. I would HIGHLY recommend the tours! Only down side for us bc we flew was there were no beach towels or beachy stuff. They did send an email stating there weren't any available but It would be nice to just have those around. There is plenty of closet space! Otherwise all was well!

We absolutely loved the location on the island and having private beach access was a major highlight! Walking through the dunes to the beach was beautiful. Also, the north part of the island is not right in the middle of tourist central and all the public beaches. Being by the lighthouse is really nice as well as having a reserved parking spot. The condo itself is a cozy, comfortable space for a group of 4 (6 would definitely be pushing it). That being said, we did run into a couple of disappointments. The biggest issue by far was the mattresses—they were incredibly broken down and felt like sleeping on a 50-year-old pull-out couch. They are definitely overdue for replacement! My husband and I suffered a little this week as a result.Additionally, getting in touch with management was challenging; communication felt almost like a game of messaging tag with some pretty cryptic responses. We felt ignored when 48 hours passed with no reply. Lastly, while the condo is nice, the photos definitely make it look a bit newer than it actually is. Examples, you can hear the upstairs neighbors walking around quite a bit. The dresser drawers in both rooms are not attached and you have to hold them to open and close them. We would absolutely love to come back to this specific area, but we’d likely choose a different rental next time unless the mattresses get an upgrade.

Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback and for highlighting what you enjoyed about the location and condo. We are very sorry to hear about the discomfort with the mattresses and the difficulty you experienced reaching management, and we understand how frustrating that must have been. Your comments about the furniture, noise, and the photos not fully matching the current condition are very helpful, and we will review these items and the mattresses for replacement and updates. We truly appreciate you staying with us and hope we can make the improvements needed to welcome you back in the future.

Great Location but lacked maintenance and pest control

We arrived in the evening dropped our bags noticed a sign on the dishwasher that it was not working and there was a burner missing off the stove, but we went to dinner, upon our return we found a hundred or so roaches in the kitchen and immediately started trying to kill them. We called the mgt company and they said they could send someone out the next day to spray. When we asked if they could just move us to a different rental they said they do not move because of bugs. They kept telling us they were probably not even roaches. They were. They had someone come out the next day but it did not help. On Monday the pest control service came and confirmed they were German roaches and that a spray would not get rid of them only this paste stuff. Unfortunately we were leaving the next day so it did not affect our stay positively. A little too late. We were unable to use the kitchen. So we had to eat out every meal. It was disappointing that they would not move us and that they argued with us that they were even roaches. In the end they refunded us $500 for a five night stay. Not enough to cover the aggravation and lack of a kitchen.
