Whale watching in Paradise

Excellent stay. The accommodations were very nice and the location can’t be beat! Watched whales breaching and turtles frolicking from our Lanai.

Great stay!

We had a great stay here. The condo was comfortable, spotless and had all the necessities and amenities we could need. The view was fabulous from the balcony, which is difficult to get in Maui at a reasonable price. We loved the location…very quiet, and a close drive to the airport, restaurants and beaches. The communication with the owner was excellent before our arrival. Also, Gail went out of her way to help us after we left some belongings accidentally, sending them to our home. We definitely recommend this condo and would stay here again.

Amazing place to stay

Staying at this condo was like a dream! The ocean front view is truly ocean front- you can’t get any closer. We enjoyed spending time at the small beach area by the property where sea turtles come up and rest each day

Perfect quiet spot in paradise

This was everything we were hoping for and more. Sea turtles and breaching humpbacks in sight from our balcony. Comfy beds (and hide-a-bed!). Water and dryer. Super super clean Located in quiet part of town but easily accessible. The ability to cook our own meals, when we were tired of eating out, was great too.

Lovely condo in Maalaea

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Steve and Gail’s condo. The condo was clean and well appointed and the view from the lanai is hard to beat! Communication was timely and easy and check in was a breeze. Would definitely stay again!

Best way to see Maui

This was honestly the best Vrbo we have stayed in. Everything is thought out. The views from the patio are just speechless. We had an amazing week long trip. We will definitely be there back again.

Condo is exactly as described. Very clean and well equipped. Beautiful ocean views. Walking distance to harbor. Recommend Tantes at the wharf great happy hour prices and best meal I had 2 weeks on the island. Great location to start from to sight see other parts of the island.

Beautiful condo right on the ocean. Had all the amenities I needed. The unit was really comfortable and clean. I wanted to stay longer. The owner, Gail, was really easy to communicate with. I hope to come back and stay here in the future!!

Amazing View and Entertaining Turtles

An absolutely lovely condo overlooking Maalaea Bay. Our favorite place to stay on Maui because it’s centrally located and a bit off the beaten path. This is a perfect place for two people. VERY well stocked kitchen. Washer and dryer. A big storage box on the lanai with everything you need for a day at the beach. A comfortable king sized bed. Communication with the owner was easy and straightforward. We’re already planning a return trip. Highly recommended.

Really appreciated the good beach gear (snorkels/fins, chairs, boogie boards, umbrella). Manager replaced a faulty chair the same day. The location is central and quiet. The condo is very comfortable. Just right.

Two weeks in Paradise!

This condo is exactly as it is portrayed online. The views are fantastic and everything we needed was provided, from kitchen to beach chairs, towels and coolers. Loved the quieter area, within walking distance to the Marina with a general store and several restaurants and shops, as well as close to sugar beach, which was great to walk on everyday. Saw whales everyday from the balcony, even provided binoculars for great viewing. Turtles came up to the beach several nights when we were there, also. Great vacation!

Great Stay in Maalaea on the beach!

Great experience.....close to Kahului, Kihei, and Lahaina. For a beachfront experience just a little away from the crowds, this is definitely the place. Small private beach with turtles in the evenings was amazing. Condo well furnished. Great communications with Gail and Steve. Would stay again for sure. This small row of condo units in Maalaea seems to be a hidden treasure. Wish it was just a little closer to restaurants/food, but then again, we chose to stay away from the hustle of Lahaina! Its clear the condo and the grounds are well maintained.

A beautiful vacation in Maui

The condo was conveniently located to the airport and shopping - the area was not congested and was ideal for a relaxing vacation. A/C is available in the unit but is on a timer with a max of 4 hours but with the trade winds the condo was pretty comfortable without it. Only the bedroom was a tad warm at night as we were not comfortable leaving open the doorwall. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There is no cable in the bedroom but you don't come to Hawaii to watch TV! The property was super clean and we took advantage of walking Sugar Beach daily. Loved seeing the turtles popping their heads out of the surf every evening. Steve & Gail provided a listing of attractions & dining and they were spot on! Would love to return again to their beautiful home.

Hard, If Not Impossible, To Beat!

Wow, first time ever renting a property and we cannot imagine ever finding one better! From the details on the listing matching exactly what we found to the prompt, thorough and caring communications with the owners, our experience was amazing! The day we arrived, the highways to the unit were all shut down due to a wildfire and the traffic was backed up for miles in all directions. When I finally emailed the owners for suggestions, they immediately called me! Then they called the on-site property manager and called me back with more information! They even checked on us the next morning and at the end of our visit. The property manager, Cathy, offered to walk down the beach and help us haul our luggage in the back way! Now THAT's customer service! This property is so perfectly located and was IMMACULATE! The owners have really thought of everything! From the instructions on how to run the appliances and electronics to the cooking utensils and spices, they left nothing out! Full beach gear, toys, absolutely everything but the sunscreen! We could not recommend this place enough except out of fear it will be so booked that we'll never get in again! Well done, Steve and Gail and MAHALO!!

Wonderfully stocked condo with turtle views! We rent a lot of condos and this one is stocked. Gail, the owner, is a lovely hostess and communicates well all in the app. Easy! Condo is located in the middle of everything and a short drive to fun areas. Quiet condo building so we loved the peaceful days. Turtles popping up in the waves, easy to see from the lanai. We even saw a monk seal twice! A/C is only in the living room, not in the bedroom. We love to sleep cold so wish the ac was throughout. The tropical breeze is a wind tunnel from bedroom to living room so open the windows and it does cool. Furniture is firm and we understand why... it holds up to many guests. We however prefer a bit more cozy. A lounger on the lanai vs the bench would be amazing! The condo is not located on a beach... I love to walk the beach. There is a gate to a rocky "mini beach" area but not for sitting or walking. The condo property is nice but a bit older. Grills are old and just ok but they work ok. Pool is small but works for a lovely dip. Overall a 4.9 rating and all was lovely. We stayed a week and a half.

We came to the islands for our Honeymoon. While all the islands are special, there is just something magical about Maui that we fell in love with. Laid back yet lots to do. We loved it so much we bought this condo and plan to use it as our second home when we retire. In the mean-time we hope we can share it with you! We've also hired a full time management company so that there is always someone available if you need something during your stay.

We love Maalaea because it is central to everything in Maui, yet quiet and not crowded. The best kept secret on Maui! 7 miles to Kihei, 16 miles to Lahaina and 8 miles to the Kahului airport area. We especially like this complex with a beautiful pool and Jacuzzi, and a BBQ area right near the water so you can enjoy the view while grilling your favorite meal. We waited a long time for a unit like this to come available. A fantastic view, walk out the door anytime day or night to the beach! We know once you stay you will want to come again and again.
