We enjoyed our stay in Tamarindo. Casa Osprey was very spacious, private, clean, close to the beach, and walkable to Tamarindo’s restaurants and shops!

We had an amazing stay at this house in Tamarindo. The location is absolutely perfect—close to everything but still felt private and relaxing. The maid service was wonderful and kept the house spotless throughout our stay. The home was even better than the pictures, which was a great surprise, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tamarindo.

We take annual vacations as a family - around the world. And this vacay was definitely near the top. The accommodations were perfect - comfortable beds, plenty of towels, fully stocked kitchen and so much more! We loved the iguanas, birds and monkeys. And of course, the exquisite beach sunsets. Classic Costa Rican Villa. Well maintained beautiful construction with high end finishes. Super convenient location. The pictures online don't do it justice! Beach equipment provided. Most completely equipped kitchen I've seen. Con mucho Gusto.Pura Vida !

Spring Break 2023

This property is beautiful. The house is perfect, and the staff is exceptional. We love Casa Osprey because it is in the heart of Tamarindo and beach access is so easy, right across the street. Spring Break 2023 was our second stay at Casa Osprey. We will always stay here when we visit if it is available!

Great spot that feels secluded but you walk across the street to the beach to surf It’s so easy. Walk to town in safe area. Hosts were great and very good communications. No surprises. House is bigger than looks, pool is perfect and clean. Cleaners and property managers were great. I will respect

Beautiful property immediately across the road from the beach. Daily visits from monkeys and iguanas all while sitting at the pool. As others have noted, Friday night music coming from neighboring bar/restaurant is loud. I suspect you can hear it anywhere in Tamarindo-

Have stayed many VRBO—this was absolutely the best ever. The owners think of everything. Every amenity is there except your clothes. Beautiful gardens, incredible pool, the housekeeper and gardener are lovely. The Casita is custom built and comfortably elegant t! Total privacy and 2 min walk across street to beach. Really no reason to rent a golf cart since nothing is further than 5-10 min walk to ample restaurants and bars and grocery store. These people do things so well they should be professional! They have a set a new bar

A slice of paradise in the heart of Tamarindo

My husband and I shared this beautiful home with 3 other couples during peak season in Tamarindo between Christmas and New Year. We all had plenty of privacy in this spacious well-built house! It is perfectly located near restaurants, shops, and steps from the beach, yet the private grounds provided tranquility and peace away from the crowds. We were thrilled by the daily visits from iguanas, monkeys, squirrels, and birds. The kitchen was well appointed and the grill was like new. Alex and Ingrid take great care of the home and property, and are very friendly and knowledgeable. We all highly recommend a stay here and would certainly return!!

Another amazing stay at Casa Osprey

Our family and friends just spent another week at Casa Osprey and it was just as wonderful as our stay there two years ago. The house is beautiful! It is decorated so tastefully, is incredibly well maintained, and has a perfect layout for two families with teens. The location can’t be beat. It’s right in the heart of town, directly across the street from the beach, yet when you enter the gates you are in your own private oasis. Ingrid the housekeeper and Alex the groundskeeper are lovely and keep everything immaculate. There are nice beach chairs to take to the beach and a beautiful pool to enjoy. Kerry is very responsive and helpful in arranging transport, surfing lessons etc. We hope to return again someday!

Amazing house in Tamarindo

This house was perfect for our group. Located in the heart of town, the house and grounds felt like we were in our own world. Kerry met us for check in and walked us through all the amenities. Ingrid and Alex came everyday to clean the house and pool. The kitchen was stocked with absolutely everything you could need. The beds were very comfortable. Mornings were spent watching the howler monkeys swing from the trees above us, then walking the beach, literally across the street. The whole town is within walking distance from the gated house. We all felt very safe and would highly recommend this vacation house.

Great Stay at Casa Osprey

The property is wonderful. Perfect location and it’s huge. Ingrid and Alex were awesome. Kerry is a great communicator as the host and was super attentive to all requests. Everything was as advertised or better. The house is beautiful. The only thing I’d say as some others did is if you’re there on a Sat or Fri night, loud music until 3am makes it hard to sleep. The doors are somewhat hard to close and a strong wind will blow one or two open which isn’t great if the alarm is set for the night. I would highly recommend casa osprey for families. Incredible spot.

Good Times at Casa Osprey!

This property and house is outstanding! The house is a hacienda style with large living spaces. Each Bedroom is secluded. The house pool is quite large. The property is over 2 acres with well manicured with very large trees which the animals love. Wildlife includes iguanas, howler monkeys, parrots, squirrels, and many other birds. The complete site is surrounding by a 10 foot stucco wall which enhances the property security and seclusion. The house maid is excellent and hardly noticeable. This property is directly across from the main beach. Our group which has traveled all over Central America believes this is the best Casa we have had the pleasure to enjoy. We’ll be back!

Paradise in the heart of Tamarindo

Our group of six (3 couples) had to pinch ourselves upon entering the gate at Casa Osprey. The grounds are rich with beautiful foliage including a magnificent mango tree. The beautiful pool and outdoor seating area with both sun and shade, provided ample space for our crew to relax. The house is AMAZING!! From the details of the architecture and craftsmanship, to the ample amenities. While our group shared this home, the layout and the large bedrooms made us feel we had our own private space. Alex and Ingrid (both sweet souls) came daily to care for Casa Osprey. Our group greatly appreciated the location of this property. We were steps away from the beach, shops and restaurants, yet enjoyed the tranquility of this quiet space. Midge and Kerry were wonderful hosts. They communicated in a timely manner and provided us with great referrals for transportation, restaurants and other activities. Thank you for sharing Casa Osprey.

Amazing place!

I highly recommend this property. There don’t appear to be any others like it in Tamarindo. You open the gate and it’s like a huge beautifully manicured compound you have for yourself. There aren’t any others like this right next to the main strip and beach and yet when the gate closes, you feel like you’re in your own mini national park. Lots of monkeys and iguanas here. The biggest iguana we’ve ever seen chills out here. Probably 6 feet head to tail. The pool is very big. House has everything you could ever need for a large group. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked. Maintenance and housekeeping were excellent. Kerry, who is the person we dealt with was awesome. Just a good guy who had good advice, was very responsive if you needed anything and made sure you had all you need. Good working AC, which is huge as it was really warm the week we were there. Comes with beach chairs and boogie boards too! Plus, all the mango you can eat with several huge mango trees on the property. The house and rooms are all very large and well decorated. The living room is enormous. We didn’t even use it but for people that like a nice place to sit and relax or have a nice sit down dinner, it would be perfect. I highly recommend this property. If and when I go back, I will 100% rent this home. It stands out in every way and no other property has such a perfect location. Love this place. My entire crew loved it.

Fabulous Home Right in Town

Extremely well built and furnished home. Beautiful and well maintained 2 acre property set back from road with feeling of privacy. Iguanas and howler monkeys onsite. The staff Ingrid and Alex were great. Owners very responsive. Right in town across the street from beach, 1/2 block from small grocery, many restaurants in walking distance. The only thing to know is you will get street noise on this property even though it is set back. You will sometimes hear music from the restaurant across the street. And you will hear thumpty bumpy from the nearby EDM disco one night a week till 2:30 (or so they advertise one night a week - we heard it one night). So if you are craving total silence this may not be your place. But the noise didn't bother us (except a tad on the EDM night) and the stay was totally fantastic.

Beautiful Place

Lovely, large house. A great place for a family Thanksgiving.. A Secret Garden hide-away steps from the the main strip of Tamarindo and beach. Everything was as billed, our only complaint was the weather.
