The house in general was great and perfect for a girls weekend with plenty of rooms, bathrooms and space. Beautiful views in a wonderful neighborhood and a quick walk to the beach. Unfortunately the lack of action by the property management company Vacasa ruined our stay. We had no hot water therefore couldn’t shower or do dishes ( even dishwasher had cold water). This made it that we wasted a lot of food as we planned to cook in and ended up having to eat out. The property management company didn’t even come out until day 3 of our stay and were unable to fix the issue. I highly recommend this house and if it had hot water it would have been a wonderful stay.

What a beautiful home, many antique things to admire. Clean, organized, equipped for lots of cooking, many extra beddings and towels. Great neighborhood, great view, lovely interior. Just small thing that could be improved , host forgot the dish soap for hand washing dishes, and body wash in the master bedroom, and we didn’t know where to leave the recycling trash due to lack of instructions on this. Replying was slow on their end, but all is good. Would 100% book again.

It is a nice house at a good location with private beach. The problem is the appliances are old in this house. The stove stopped working on the 2nd day, and the dishwasher doesn't clean properly either due to the soap provided or it simply doesn't do the job. I contact the property manager, and their online help relayed the above issues to local team, but I never heard from their local team even after I checked out.

It was an ok stay...

The place is nice and spacious and was able to comfortably accommodate our group of 10. With some updates and TLC this place could be an amazing stay. Unfortunately, we had some issues during our stay and didn't get some resolved and others we had to address ourselves. People who are paying to stay shouldn't have to call for internet service and wait for the cable guy.

Spacious home with access to private beach

We loved the space of the home. We were able to fit three families with children. A lot of areas to sit and socialize. We loved being able to walk to the beach in the evenings as it was really close. The hot tub was a big hit since we travelled the weekend the thunderstorm hit which ruined our beach day. The home seemed to not have been cleaned dusted before our arrival. The floors were dirty/dusty, the couch was also dusty, there were many cob webs so I am not sure if it had been sitting unused for some time. The beds were all uncomfortable. We travelled with toddlers and were able to block the staircase with chairs, however, we would have loved to used the baby gate available but it appeared to be broken. The bear proof trash box was full so we were unable to place our trash in the box. The checkout time is way too early (10am). This did not allow us time to make breakfast for our children and pack up, as well as clean up. I am not sure if it was the home owner or the person cleaning the home but they arrived at 9:45a.m. asking if we had cleared the home. Thankfully we were already exiting but felt rushed when we still had 15 minutes.

Wonderful!!!

Another wonderful stay at this beautiful home. This is the third year I have rented this home for our extended family. Very spacious. We find if someone wants quiet time there are plenty of decks, common rooms, and bedrooms to get away to read, nap, etc. When it’s time to get together with everyone, the family room, kitchen, eating area, separate dining area, are so inviting and allow us to have a wonderful time. Fireplace is wonderful(bring your own wood). I now have two young grandsons under four, so the fact that the indoor hot tub is in its own separate room on the lower floor, is great to use and is kid proof. Also, the fact that the home provides a kids gate that can go on the top of the stairs is a wonderful feature for us(it is really well built). So obviously we just enjoy this home and the fact that we have use of the private beach is wonderful. As far as other amenities we utilize are the small shopping area, which includes Safeway, a great Dollar Tree and a wonderful café that serves breakfast and lunch. And of course, the Tahoe nightlife is within 10 minutes. Highly recommend and hope you enjoy as much as we do!!!

Dated needs facelift

Overall I would say the pictures are deceiving to some extent. Knowing that it is a rental it is showing it's age. Deck off back of house needs work, (deteriorating boards). Kitchen... Sink faucet questionable, Garbage container/cabinet front door was off we had to put back on track, Pot and pans for the most part need to be replaced (scratched teflon). Dishwasher takes 4hrs to was and does not seem to heat dry. Batrooms electrical outlets were out on arrival had to call to find bad circuit breaker plus they are well used/worn. Master Bdrm was good others were ok. The Hot Tub on arrival was not adequately filled and was making a lot of noise, also had so much chlorine basically not usable. Garage was nice to have. Recycle garbage can in garage was completely full on arrival, Hugh can so I assume it had been filling up for months. We were there for 5 nights so we made due but think the for staying there was high. Need to refresh a number of simple items plus.

Disappointment

This rental was a disappointment and complete bait and switch. It was once a luxury home, but the maintenance isn’t there. There was vomit in the driveway, the hot tub was dirty, cold, and loud. The fireplace had no wood, and the gas didn’t work. The baby gate above a long flight of stairs was broken, our blind dog fell to the bottom. All the pots and pans are scratched and unhealthy for food. We left after one night.

Such an amazing cabin!

Came to this cabin with a full group, including 2 children under 5, a dog, and various adults and couples. The cabin was very spacious and had plenty of room for everyone. We loved the vibe of the cabin.. giving an old-school cozy feel, but with updated amenities and lots of space. Check-In and Check-Out process was super easy, we had literally zero problems, and had a great experience!

Charming Spacious home

Great location with little private beach being an awesome perk. The house is huge so staying with a big group was not a problem. It had old Tahoe charm with all the right newly upgraded appliances. Would stay again for sure.
