Relaxing family place

It was a great family and dog friendly place. We loved that it was on the end of the building, close to the pool and golf course. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Location was wonderful, downstairs was roomy and comfortable. Bedrooms were spacious and nice. Bathrooms upstairs in need of updates and deep cleaning.

Great getaway and perfect location!

Truly enjoyed our stay! This place is as advertised. Just as others have posted. It is a very family, pet friendly community. Walking distance to the beach and lots of bike riding areas. Property located on the fairway the 7th hole of the golf course which makes sitting out back envelope more fun. Already recommended this place to others!

Perfect for Pets

This was a great property for having pets. The condo was spacious enough for the two of us and two dogs. Is about .6 miles from the beach which was good. Was a quiet unit on the end and close to the pool. Great walking paths for taking the pups for a walk.

Nice, quiet stay

This rental was exactly as described in the listing. The realty company checked in on us throughout the stay. We loved being so close to the pool and just a short walk to the beach. We chose this place mostly because it allowed us to bring our dogs, but we’re really happy overall. If you’re arriving at night, be sure to have a flashlight handy as it is really dark near the property. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Great location

Great location! This place is in need of repairs. Lots of Mold on ceilings in hall upstairs, peeling paint/mold in bathroom. Coffee pot missing filter basket. Needs repairs!

May Vacation

Nice place but is in dire need of upgrades, fresh paint and rust removal of plumbing. Sliding glass doors do not work well and stick to the point of only opening halfway, at best.The house was dirty when we arrived as it had not been swept or vacuumed. Found dead bugs and other debris on the floor throughout the house.

Lovely, quiet spot, great location

Love the quiet location in the back of the property, but only about .5 mile walk to the beach. The mattress in the Master BR is very comfortable. The townhouse is spacious and comfortable, everything worked properly. The knives need replacing and cookware is somewhat limited. Shower pressure is nothing to write home about. Bring laundry detergent and automatic dishwashing detergent, as the mgmt company only gives enough for one load of each.

Property Needs Updating

Locked myself out within minutes of arrival. Property management (Sunset Rentals) was quick to the rescue and even brought water and snack.I’ve previously stayed at the same condo a couple of years ago and love the area the unit itself was a little out dated but enjoyed our time. This visit the property was not as clean especially outside couldn’t sit outside at all!!! Bathrooms had very poor lighting, vanity doors practically hanging. Carpet in all of upstairs and furniture very dated.will seek a different unit next time.

Shipyard Hilton Head stay

The unit showers need to be upgraded as the water pressure is terrible. The kitchen was well equipped. The location is good and our dog enjoyed the beach every day.

GREAT LOCATION

ONLY ISSUE WE HAD AND NOTHING THE OWNER COULD CONTROL WAS THE RECYCLING WAS NEVER PICKED UP FROM THE PREVIOUS RENTERS. THERE WAS MOUNTAIN OF RECYCLING BY THE FRONT DOOR. OTHER THAN THAT THE PLACE WAS PERFECT FOR OUR LITTLE FAMILY.

Nice stay, but needs updating

The location of this unit within Shipyard is excellent- super close to the pool and beach is a quick bike ride away. As a corner unit that overlooks the golf course- the view is mostly shaded and just far away enough from the course to view through the trees (and not see tons of golfers out the back door). The inside layout is fine, but the unit needs some updating and probably a deep cleaning (stains on the couch and upstairs carpet is pretty dirty). There is plenty of natural light on the main floor to still feel light and airy. The kitchen is very small so don't plan on cooking big meals there but the outside grill is great to have. We still enjoyed our stay but will probably opt for an updated unit in the future.
