Condo was in a perfect loacation. One block from oceanside shops, food and beautiful ocean views. Bed was confortable, air conditioners worked great. Closet was stocked with linens, sunscreen, beach chairs/blanket/snorkeling/water shoes. All came into great use! Easy entry, parking pass is in tbe condo, that was a challenge at first but propert manager was quick to respond. I read reviews about the ant like bugs. Yes, tvey are there but we didn't cook or prepare food, we kept items in fridge, table and top of fridge, so they didnt bother us. Great place for 2 people and would definitely rent again. Thank you!

Great location, great accommodation.

The location in Kailua-Kona couldn’t be any more central, it was great! The accommodation itself was incredibly reasonable priced, clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet, included parking, and included bonuses such as beach chairs and boogie boards.

Location perfect.

Loved our place. Amazing lanai. All you needed to feel right at home. Everthing with in walking distance (beaches, great food and shops)including fabulous Kona Farmers market. We will definately look forward to staying here again.

50 plus anniversary trip

We missed our 50th anniversary due to COVID so we’re making up for it. We were here 10 years ago; and now we have circumnavigate the Island 🏝️. This place is a very short walk to the Kona Inn Plaza.

I was impressed with how much they could neatly pack into this cute little spot. Perfect location with all the basics you need for a nice beach vacation with the family. No paying for extra frills or thrills, just comfort, convenience and style.

Best Experience

Great location. We stayed here and didn’t use a car for the first few days of our trip - right in the heart of Kailua and across the street from the trolly stop. The space was clean and had everything we needed including beach chairs and umbrella. We loved spending nights out on the lanai.

Nice quick trip to Kona!

We had a great time in Kona. It was just a short trip over from Maui for us to do some diving. We enjoyed the location of the condo, perfect walking distance to a lot of amenities, which was great as we did not have a car. The condo was clean and cold! It was great to come back to after a long day of exploring.

Great space and location

Nicely appointed condo located within easy walking distance of food entertainment and historic sights. The central West Coast location also provided good acces to other points of interest. The kitchen had everything needed and we took advantage of the collection of beach items on hand. Washer and dryer a plus, as was the air conditioning.

Beautiful place in paradise

Our VRBO was a beautiful place to stay, the bed was comfy, great kitchen, bath and beautiful lanai. The air conditioning in each room was great too. Chairs, towels and snorkeling equipment was provided for guest, and you could walk 5 minutes to town or the beach. The parking in the garage was safe and secure with a special key provided. We had a marvelous time and will return soon! Thank you!

Well located

Property is well located. Offering all amenities including snorkeling equipment. The appartment has been renovated and is very pleasant. My only recommendation would be to check the condo AC compressor which makes a lot of noice. The condo management team is very reactive and professionnal. Everything put together, it was a very nice 5 nights stay.

Nice time!

It was as described in listing. Once you figure out the back staircase to the complex getting onto the main road (Alii) was very easy. They had a new air mattress and towels, thank you. If you want actual beachtowels, bring your own. They had bath towels for the beach. Great selection of beach items! We enjoyed our time there!

Great place!

This place is great! Great location. Walking distance to Alii which is the place to be! Lots of extra towels, bed linens & everything you need to make meals at home. Beach towels, umbrella & three beach chairs with three or four biggie boards. No cooler or children’s beach toys, though. We will definitely be seeing if this place is available next time we come. I LOVED the blackout curtains in the bedroom. Perfect place for our family! Enjoy!! Mahalo!!!

Value accommodation in an ideal location

Kona Plaza was well situated, steps away from everything in town, yet it was easy to drive into. The property management is very detailed, their instructions are simple to follow, and they are communicative and responsive. The condo was well equipped with everything we could need and was kept organized and uncluttered. If you’re looking for a luxury accommodation, I would suggest this may not be the unit for you. However, if you are looking for practicality and location with good amenities at a reasonable price, this is it.

The heart of Kona

A definite +++++ was the furniture on the balcony. We spent most of our time enjoying the patio. Really enjoyed being in the heart of Kona. Also made use of the beach gear provided. A definite minus was the large picnic table for dining, but again, we ate out on the patio. The new small couch was not good for sleeping --too hard and a big dip in the middle. A piece of foam would help.
