We found several things broken or in poor condition. Advertising that it had a grill was very misleading. The pots and pans were very old. We liked the availability of pickle ball courts, pool and beach right across the street.

Amazing place and location

We have stayed at Chateau La Mer numerous times and are never disappointed. This condo may be the best yet So clean and cute and the location is PERFECT!!

We really enjoyed the location -family friendly,close to beach,,shopping etc Overall condo was good but a few things could b updated, cleaned or fixed-owners things in closets -we were afraid we would bother -bathroom doors run-2rls of TP /bathroom would b nice-2kitchen towels- Thks for a great family stay !!

We had a great week!! The condo was a very short walk to beach - pool was just across the parking lot and the condo was spotless. We will be back!!

Great Location, Great Space

This was our 14th year of coming to Destin for a family vacation. We always stay in/around Capt Dave's restaurant. This condo was the perfect location, great pool size. Very welcoming when we arrived and clean. Good communication from the property managers throughout the stay via text. Nice to have a number available if needed. Will definitely stay here next year. We stayed at the last property we use to come down to for 11 years, this a great replacement. *note there is NO Keurig (I would suggest the property provide this) instead of a regular coffee pot.

Beach Condo

It was nice, close to beach, clean, within walking distance to Kenny D’s restaurant, had beach chairs and umbrella. Overall was a great getaway!

Beach getaway

Took my sister and her friends on a trip to the beach. The property was great, and communication was very easy with property managers. The walk to the beach is SO easy, and the seasonal chairs are great.

Great place! Conveniently location.

It was a quick trip to Destin with the family as our exchange student was about to round out his year with the program & had never seen the ocean. It was a great trip.

Great location, good size bedrooms

Location is great, beds very comfortable and good size bedrooms. Master bedroom was great. Condo could have been cleaner, foors were not clean, has dated couches that smell. Kitchen is somewhat dated (fridge and stove are newer though), with basic supplies such as table cover or dish sponges missing. No beach towels, no additional beach chairs provided. Half of the dressers and closets are locked and inaccessible to guests. No gas barbecue or outdoor sitting area adjacent to this condo. Otherwise it is spacious inside. There is one great shape tennis court included and the other court is turned into pickle ball court. Pool is basic, but very close. Overall, would stay in Destin again, but chose a different accommodation.

amazing experience

house was as listed on website, didn’t have no issues checking in. The place was next to the beach not far walk, could use some laundry detergent for quick wash. I had to buy my own and left a whole box, overall it was great.

The property was very well maintained!! We are so very sorry but on the way home we were talking and we forgot to start the dish washer. we had the dishes in it but forgot to run it. Thank you The Skeltons are Kids are wanting to come back with us in the spring.

Economical and Very Close to the Beach

We enjoyed staying at the little place! It was right by the beach. I mean a stone’s throw. It was very convenient to shopping and restaurants. The layout of the place was great. It was very economical for the location. The only thing I would say that would be a draw back would be the water heater is tiny. We ran out of hot water every morning before we finished our shower and that was with us showing together. We weren’t able to finish bathing before the hot water ran out. And that was with no hanky panky. Lol! This was a real problem and should he addressed by the owners. Overall it was a great stay. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a cheap place to stay near the beach.
