Thank you Anna, for the very nice review. I hope you all will return. I am including a summary of many of the activities available in the area: I want to share the following information with you to help make the most of your next visit. A few area highlights. Lake Junaluska has an very popular and well designed 18 hole golf course. Nearby Maggie Valley Country Club also sports an 18 hole course. There is a 2.25 mile paved walking trail around and along side the Lake.  The mountain and Lake views from this trail are spectacular.  We have multiple varieties of fowl: ducks, Canadian Geese and majestic swans. The swans are one of the prides of Lake Junaluska. Of coarse there is great fishing right there in Lake Junaluska, as well. Plus the association also has a public swimming pool available for visitors.  There is a small daily charge to use it. Boat jjhand canoe rentals are also available. The apartment is a 7 minute drive from the town of Waynesville. Waynesville is a neat town to window shop or just browse around in.
