The location of this building (Aqua) is fantastic, as is the layout of this condo's floor plan. However, we would not stay in another unit managed by ECDI (Emerald Coast Destinations). We had trouble getting into our unit & had to obtain a new door code upon arrival. The unit is dated & in need of some sprucing up, as well as, new cookware/etc for the kitchen. None of the furniture was comfortable, including the chairs out on the balcony. Beds were just ok. The stack washer/dryer were so filthy we didn't want to wash/dry our clothes in them. We only washed a load of towels. There was a very strong odor coming from the laundry closet, which sits in the kitchen. That, mixed with the kitchen sink with a disposal that didn't work, made for a really bad smell throughout the kitchen, living, and dining room area. I'm not sure what was down the sink, or how long it had been there, but the stench from it would absolutely slap you in the face when entering the unit. I called on Thursday to report the smell & request the disposal be fixed. I never heard back, so that afternoon, I messaged through VRBO. I received a response the next morning to say their maintenance dept had been contacted and would take care of it. We checked out the next morning and no one ever contacted us or came out. This particular unit & management company was a fail, but, I could see having a totally different experience staying in a different unit in this building. Again, the location is great!
