this is not a brand new unit... and the hurricane film between the main level glass on the beach side is so foggy you can't see through it. There was a significant amount of hair under the glass shelves in the bedroom. If you are staying more than a couple of days you will need to find a laundry as the owners do not allow you to use the washer and dryer... the location is perfect, and the contact was always quick to answer.

The location of the house is perfect. The views were beautiful. The only complaint I have is one of the bedroom ceiling fans would not turn on and there was a stained towel put out for use in one of the bathrooms. Overall we had a great time and I would stay here again.

Everything was great except for the grill. It’s an old charcoal kettle and the grill itself is pretty gross. At least it’s not up to my standards. The beach was great. No cars allowed. The house was perfect for my family of 12 with small children. Hot water was no problem. I believe it has 2 tankless water heaters. View couldn’t be better

We recently stayed at this property and had a nice getaway with family. Pros- the location is top notch, right on the beach, beautiful views and not far from all the action in Galveston. It’s one of few beach houses that have a bathroom for every bedroom, which is great when staying with multiple families. Great home setup, very comfortable. Cons- The place lacked general upkeep/cleanliness and the owner/host was not helpful in addressing any concerns. Examples: The dryer did not work our entire stay and when I messaged about it on day 1, I received no response. This proved to be very challenging as you typically expect to do laundry while at the beach. We also had issue with the outside water hose not able to fully turn off. We messaged multiple times about this issue and it was also not addressed. They dismissed our concerns and/or ignored messages. The place was generally in decent condition but needs repairs in lots of places including door locks, drawers and ceiling fans, and outside hoses.Overall- the place has excellent potential and so many positives. Just wish the overall customer service and attention to detail in the home was better as it could be a hidden gem with a bit more care/attention.

Weekend stay

Nice property in a great location just past the Seawall. Plenty of room for a big group if you wanted. Very kid friendly with games. Loved that there was a game room upstairs that had a door so we didn’t have to worry about the stairs with a little one. Overall I would stay here again.

One of the things we did not like was that the upstairs TV did not have a remote that properly worked missing one of the batteries, and there was no cover on the back of the TV remote and in the kitchen Had ants in there, and the big tub in the master bedroom does not work Work

Nice house, great location

The house is in a great location, away from the chaos but close to restaurants and shopping (usually stay by Jamaiica Beach). The house was nice. It has everything you need. There are minimal towels and toiletries but that was clearly stated from host. We brought extra towels (kitchen, bath, beach), tp, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, etc. We would have liked it to be cleaner. We would stay here again.

Perfect location. Right on the beach with easy access to the water. Stunning sunrise and sunsets. Well appointed house with everything you need. In need of some routine maintenance but we would stay here again!

Highly recommend

Property was exactly as stated. Right on beach, no public parking area in front of house so very family and kid friendly. Clean, very updated bathrooms, bedrooms, etc. nicely appointed kitchen. shaded balcony on main level. simple short path to beach, great views, great time. Highly recommend staying here. Also much closer to Galveston for restaurants and grocery store access than some of the other west end of island neighborhoods.
