Nice condo

Great location, very close to the ocean and restaurants. The bathrooms are ok but could use upgrades. The bed in main bedroom could use a new mattress, sags and two people sink to the middle. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

If you want ocean front, you won't get much closer than this condo! The ocean is right outside your balcony with the quickest beach access we've ever had in all of our years coming to Carolina and Kure Beach just around the side of the building.As for the condo itself, it was clean and comfortable with a great view. The bed in the master bedroom was a bit softer than we are used to, but to each their own. We still slept great after the first night.The location is great for driving to the pier at Kure Beach or the aquarium at Fort Fisher. The outdoor pool is about a two to three minute walk, so not bad. All-in-all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would certainly recommend it.Thanks for opening up your condo to us!

This condo had an excellent location and a welcoming feel.Many areas were updated and look new. However, they did not take the time to update the shower stalls or shower heads in either bathroom. While this isn't a huge deal breaker, it also wasn't ideal either. After a long day at the beach, I look forward to coming "home" and having a refreshing shower. The state of the showers did not give me that impression. But, I am being nit picky.This was definitely a great place to stay, and I loved the proximity to the beach and the indoor pool.It is heartbreaking to see the shoreline near the Coquina Outcrop becoming smaller and smaller.

Great location!!!

We love Kure Beach and the location of this property is great!!! I think their cleaners could do a better job but it’s a beach place so it’s going to wear quicker than not on the beach. Be prepared for bugs, rust, and older furniture/finishes. And the kitchen smells like a dirty litter box. But we didn’t spend a ton of time inside so we just went with it.

Senior citizens at beach

The condo was good the view was wonderful. However, we never found the pools or other amenities. I know theres nothing you could have done about the weather, but there were so many contractors vechicles in and around the condo that it made it difficult to get in and out. In our opinion, we should have been told about that and given the option of canceling our stay and getting a refund. That was the only negative thing about our visit.

Great Experience

Easiest rental process we’ve ever experienced. My only issue was: In the master bath, there was a heavy soap bar residue where the previous guest had laid their soap after showering. I’m sure it was just missed when cleaning crew came in. No biggie. But in this time of dealing with COVID it does make you question things you normally wouldn’t. Overall, it was very nice and my wife was very pleased with my booking. So....GREAT JOB!

Needs work

This unit needs quite a bit of work and updates. The kitchen cabinets dont stay closed, the master ceiling fan had no way to turn it on, master slider to the deck was very hard to operate, there is only 1 TV and it doesnt allow you to use Netflix, etc. There are vhs tapes but no player. The fireplace is not operational, the ice maker didn't work. The master bed was extremely uncomfortable. The location is awesome, right on the beach, and the beach was never crowded. It has a nice pool too. There is not much for kids to do in this town, ie. No go carts or putt putt. We only found 2 restaurants that served breakfast, however both were amazing!

Bad beach and noisy

There were three caterpillars at our stay working on the beach 24 hours during the day time and during our sleep , it was not relaxing at all and it the noise kept us up through out the night. I have pictures and videos.

I loved the location but there was a terrible smell in the kitchen ,bugs, and when I requested that someone fix my lights on the balcony out of the 4 days I stayed nobody came.overall I enjoyed my stay someone needs to clean the side of the refrigerator!

Great view with room to improve.

The location, complex, and property management company are great. The condo definitely needs to be updated or lower the $$. We don’t need a fancy place at the beach especially with a condo that’s practically in the ocean. The beds, including the pull out, are terrible. Much of the place needs to be updated just to not look like a frat house apartment. The town and beach were perfect.

Only thing good was the view

View was great. That's pretty much the only thing good about this unit. When we arrived the floor was nasty. We had to vacuum the floor as soon as we as we arrived because our feet were dirty from just walking in the unit . The unit was hot. We checked the return air filter and it was totally stopped up almost sucking itself into the vent. We contacted management and they said maintenance would come out and they never did. Master bedroom- Bed is very uncomfortable. So soft you can barely get out of it. Pillows are stained. Ceiling fan does not work. Several wall sockets shot out sparks when plugging cell phones in the socket. Master bath- Wall socket did not work. You have to stand in the bedroom to dry your hair. Drain in the tub - when taking a shower the water backed up to your ankles. We cleaned this out and found enough hair to make a wig!! Hall bathroom- wall socket did not work. Living room furniture is way out dated and very uncomfortable. Again several wall sockets sparked when using. Kitchen- ice maker does not work and is nasty and rusty! Trash can lid in kitchen will not stay on because it is broken. The stove handle is about to fall off. They came and sprayed for bugs. This did no good. We had to throw away all open items in the cabinet after eating chips and finding a bug in the opened bag of chips. View from the balcony is nice but you have to stand up to see. Pretty much the only balcony in the area without the tall chairs so you can set down and enjoy the view. Very noisy when someone is staying in the upstairs unit. We made management aware of these issues and the only response was what could house keeping do. We feel this unit is rented out so management does not care if you have issues in your stay. They have your money as well as all the other guest who rent this unit so why bother to fix anything. Very poor management!!

Very close to the ocean!

Pros: this condo is extremely close to the ocean, the walk to the beach from the condo is easy, the area wasn’t at all crowded, great layout, incredible views, spacious balcony with table and chairs. Cons: outdated kitchen, uncomfortable living room furniture, mold/water damage outside of both showers, tv cannot be connected to smart device for streaming, cockroaches were visible alive and dead inside the unit, very uncomfortable bed in master bedroom, intermittent internet/tv issues. The location of the condo is truly the only reason to stay here. The interior furnishings aren’t very comfortable. As most beach goers, we anticipated being on the beach more than inside. However, we spent more time inside due to a tropical storm.

Nice Stay

The property was very comfy and very adequate. Would definitely stay again in this unit. Only one issue was the need for a new frig and mixing bowls. The frig works just fine but the ice maker does not and it's rusty on the outside. All this for us was very minor! The deck was awesome and right on the beach!

Beautiful location..

Very nice spot. Needs some upkeep. Outdoor furniture and mattress. We're 2 dead cockroaches when I arrived, but all in all okay.

Great location but very dated property. You still can't beat be on the beach though.

Nice Trip

Nice place with great location. No issues with noise from upstairs guests. Check-in process was easy. Several light fixtures did not work or did not have light bulbs. Ice maker did not work. Overall, a nice place to stay.
