Great host and location!

Great stay. Location is perfect and apartment is well furnished, comfortable, clean, and cool. Martine was a great host; she picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, provided recommendations and information guides in English, beach towels, and coffee. The two bedrooms comfortably accommodated my husband, me, and our two adult daughters.

LOCATION MOYENNE

Les photos de l'annonce son très jolies et tentantes mais la réalité n'est pas tout à fait la même. Pas de photo de la salle de bain qui est très petite surtout pour la douche dont l'écoulement se fait très très lentement. Lavabo trop bas. Un peu trop de choses inutiles en décoration dans l'appartement, ce qui prend énormément de place. 4ème étage sans ascenseur (pas pratique avec des enfants) Le point positif est l'emplacement!!!

Perfecte locatie hartje Annecy

Sfeervol appartement in het centrum van Annecy. Vriendelijke gastvrouw. Het appartement was vrij krap voor een gezin van 5: zelden een kleinere douchecel en toilet meegemaakt...ook onhandig dat je de douchekop niet kan ophangen.

Beautiful small apartment perfectly placed to explore the old town

Apartment located 4 floors up in one of the older building on the Rue du Paquier. Amazingly hospitable host, Maja, who met us from the station and offered plenty of advice and suggestions for our stay. Apartment was left with leaflets and a useful map of the town marked up with points of interest and also some locally grown tomatoes, plenty of coffee and some drink to get us settled in. Rooms were immaculately clean and uniquely decorated by ornaments and furniture hand made and finished from wood and plants. Room was out the rear of the building and was quiet although a couple of morning we heard the early start of the restaurants below, but this was cancelled out by the lovely smell of food that followed. The building obviously has no lifts so be prepared to carry cases up the stairs, but a lovely stay in a lovely town in a unique apartment.

Fantastic location, exceptionally attentive hosting

Vegetal Cocoon is a lovely, well stocked property in the heart of Annecy. Everything one would want to visit is within easy walking distance. The Annecy Gare is a 10-12 minute walk. My wife and I have used HomeAway, and other rental sites, for several years, and fine Maja to be the most attentive host we have encountered. We recommend Vegetal Cocoon highly because of the care Maja puts income the apartment and for the warmth she shows her visitors.
