Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Leave your stress behind and recharge among the beautiful trees of Girdwood’s temperate rainforest. Large windows provide ample natural light to enjoy the breathtaking scenery from multiple rooms. Two large living spaces for gatherings and 2 private bedrooms for privacy. Home has comfortable sleeping for 10 and provides an open concept kitchen for entertaining. Accessible to great hiking and biking trails on Mt. Alyeska. *Please note a full time tenant in the mother in law apartment. Tenant has a separate entrance and no direct access to the home.

It's a rain forest!

We came to Girdwood several days early because Denali NP was closed. The house is right on the mountain yet access is easy. We watched the fog/cloud move over the mountain all day. We found some lovely hikes. We loved the the hike called Trail of Blue Ice. The house was very comfortable and elegant in its decor,the kitchen was very well stocked, and there were plenty of baking/cooking dishes if you want to eat your meals at the house. I loved the nepresso machine. We had easy access to the hikes we were looking for and always beautiful mountains to see every time we left the house. We would defintely stay here again.

Pictures don't do it justice!

We stayed here for a weeklong family trip and used it as a homebase for day adventures. Honestly I can't say enough at how beautiful and pristine this property is! It's like staying in a five star hotel with every amenity you can think of. The property was built as the owners dream home and you can tell! We were a little concerned about having the downstairs apartment occupied by somebody else during our stay but it was completely a non-issue. Two of the upstairs loft beds were full size with cute little areas for electrical outlets and books. Upstairs loft area was perfect for the teenagers to hang out. Game closet had so many different types of games and kitchen had everything you could think of. Every room had its own TV though we only used the one in the main living area We did not use the patio or barbecue due to it raining during our stay but would be beautiful if the weather cooperated! Super close to town. We had a car but if the weather was nice it would be probably a 20 minute stroll. Owners were so nice and a pleasure to deal with and we would 100% stay here again and recommend it to our friends!

Loved the modern design, fully stocked, thoughtful amenities (soaps, coffee, laundry pods). Location was a short drive to downtown, but it was very quiet. We did have 3 couples that each had cars, so we didn't know there was a 2 car max, but we parked as compactly as possible.
