This is the only place in Fredericksburg I would stay for a couple’s getaway from now on. Ideal location, within walking distance of the ‘main strip’ and several awesome restaurants. Only downside is the hot tub is right next to the neighboring hot tub separated only by a wood fence.Highly recommend, would stay here again!

This was my husband and I’s second time to stay at this property and we will stay there again. The house is very roomy, comfortable and clean. You can’t beat the location. It’s one block south Main Street so there are so many restaurants, bars and stores. Check in and check out is very easy and convenient.

This was an excellent property to stay at. My wife and I enjoyed being able to walk to where all the shops and excitement was. I highly recommend booking here. You won't be disappointed.

The location is perfect for walking to Main Street to eat and shop. The cottage was clean and inviting. We felt comfortable and safe.

The house and location were great! The hot tub is a great feature, but the smell outside was absolutely horrendous. It was so bad that we only used the hot tub once. Another complaint was that the bathroom didn't have any hooks or bars to hang the towels on.

Bed and pillows

The Speakeasy 1 is in a very desirable location and is well maintained. We had issues sleeping because of the over used bed and pillows. Both of these were causes for lack of sleep, support which lead to back and neck pain in the mornings. Please consider updating both the mattress and pillows.

Good

Location was perfect for us since we wanted to spend most of our time on Main Street. However, the mattress was hot and did not allow much movement without extra effort due to the memory foam. We were unable to find a cookie sheet or something to use in the oven to warm up some leftovers. Outside noise started each morning around 5:30am so a restful night was not available. There were no hangers to put wet towels on to dry. Needless to say we will use your service again but not to go to the Speakeasy cottages. Thank you for the opportunity to provide our feedback.

Great Little Cottage!

Great little cottage very convenient to main part of downtown and shops. Enjoyed having the small hot tub and was able to use at night with the cooler weather. Would definitely recommend. One beneficial enhancement to the cottage would be hooks or bars for towels in the bathroom and/or shower to have someplace to hang towels to dry or for access after shower, rather than just on the door knob or counter.

Great Stay!

The Speakeasy Cottage #1 was a great location and perfect for an anniversary get away. We loved the cabin, it was stocked with everything we needed and I like that there were no chores to complete when we left. Our stay was quite and comfortable.
