Spectacular ocean views from this beautiful five bedroom oceanfront home with private pool and private beach access! This spacious oceanfront home features a private pool facing the ocean, screened porch off the kitchen area, 'crow's nest' for elevated roof top views, and both a covered and uncovered deck perfect for lounging. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, and the dining table seats 8 with 6 additional stool seating offered between the kitchen island and great room bar . This property boasts flat-screen cable TVs in every bedroom and great room, and wireless internet. Fireplace not available for guest use, and the outdoor pool and outdoor spa CANNOT be heated or cooled. Outdoor spa sitting pool great for cooling off while sitting with a tasty beverage. Linens & WIFI Included. Dogs are conditional and must be approved in advance ($250 nonrefundable fee per dog). Non-smoking.

Family Vacation

Memorial Day vacation 2025

Great location but house is showing its age

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we've rented this house. The first time was four years ago and the house was in very good shape. It still has great things going for it besides its location. Master bedroom is in great condition and is highly functional. The beds are all still in good shape as is most of the furniture in the house. Outdoor decks are great with super seating and swings. Well stocked (cooking utensils) kitchen. Lots of good stuff for small families.But she's aging now. There are a lot of maintenance issues including peeling exterior paint, water stains on the ceilings, kitchen cabinets that don't close, dishwasher missing lockable tines, sliders that no child and some women can open since they are worn out and don't slide well, etc. This house also took a glancing blow from a hurricane and there are many turnbuckles under the house holding the leaning pilings together. The backyard has lost 30' since we were last there with almost the entire dune wiped out. Stairs to the beach were buried under mountains of sand. Like all houses on this side of the island, accretion and erosion are steadily taking their toll.Good house for a small family and some guests. About 3400 ft2 so not a huge house but comfortable with good sleeping arrangements and well maintained bathrooms.Looking back on this I'm not sure I can justify paying $14k for a four night stay. That seems like a lot for off season. Maybe if this place gets a minor facelift it will see its past glory but till then we will take our fond memories of the beach with us and send our appreciation for the time there.

Beautiful Home on the Beach - Disappointed in Home Management

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was beautiful with many great features. It was well equipped with kitchen ware, and the rooftop deck was amazing. The management of the property was disappointing: the pool was filthy with sand and grasses upon our arrival - it was not cleaned until our last full day of rental. This was not the Pool Services fault as they were most-likely following their weekly schedule. However, the Management company knew they had new guests arriving four days before this scheduled service and did not care to ensure the pool was clean. That is being completely lazy on the management company’s watch. Also, the furnishings were nice but a little warn after a full season of wear and tear. We get it. However, we still paid a premium price for a fall rental, so the little touches by a management company could go a long way and would cost very little to their profit margins, I.e., how about some new pillows? The ones on the beds had no support left in them; also, how about some new towels? The ones provided were ultra sheer and warn; we have rented with Island Realty for over 20+ years, and there were always sufficient quantities of towels provided each year - this rental, there were barely enough to cover our party for 5 days. It was such a great house, but I will have severe reservations on renting a property from this Island Realty Management division. Extremely disappointed in our management services, of what was easy to manage, which took away from the value of our experience.

The property was amazing. Our only issue was the stove would not heat above 240 and it was Thanksgiving and we could not cook our meal. Other than that it was very nice indeed.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a very nice home, but is in need of some basic repairs in order to continue to expect to receive the high rent fees. The built-in kitchen trash can was so, so, so dirty and in need of replacement (the wood area surrounding the space where the trash bag goes has so much dirt, food and grime ingrained in it. It literally turned my stomach). Also, the steps to the beach are broken and need to be replaced for safety reasons. This may have been due to a storm but should be fixed right away. Lastly, I was shocked the we were told there was an extra charge for the privilege of turning on the hot tub. This is not my first beach front rental in Isle of Palms and we have always had an operating hot tub. For the money I spent for 1 week, the hot should have been on and working.

Perfect Place

This was an amazing home, a perfect place for our family vacation !! It was specious, the pool area was tremendous and we were steps from the beach. We close to great restaurants on the island and a short drive into Charleston. We will definitely go back again and highly recommended to anyone.

I would suggest swapping the bunk bed room to share the Jack and Jill bathroom so that adults could have their own bathroom. Kids could share the bathroom with their parents in the Jack and Jill bathroom. We never could get the Sonos sound system to work. And we did see a rat or something run out from under the grill.

There should be extra towels under the sinks We had to call for shampoo, conditioner and soap as a starter. No Kleenex was provided as a starter in each bathroom.No Tupperware or storage containers for food was in kitchen. Lots of Pyrex dishes but no lids for keeping food fresh. Hate to always use Saran wrap!Dryer needs looking at, heat element not hot to dry towels when you wash them.Fake plants throughout the home are dusty. Just get rid of them. They are unnecessary No hair dryer in jack and jill bathroom.

Our first house was sold and not renting anymore so they helped in finding us another property. We choose 510 Ocean because of the pool and Hut Tube. Stayed many times before

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this house a total of nine times. Great location and floorplan. Pool is ideal. Unfortunately, we see some decline in condition. In need of some cosmetic painting and updating. Elevator broke down on second use.Floors showing wear. They did update main TV and the ease of use improved. Requested bee nests be eradicated since we had people with allergies and they missed several nests. Some of this seems minor but when put against the significant increase in rental price the last two years and then the current published rate for 2022 going up over 30% with only five bedrooms you would expect better especially given there are 6+ bedroom houses for the same or less money. Great memories there, but value is going down due to cost.
