Overall it was exactly what we needed . I definitely feel this vrbo is a weee bit over priced for the amount of room / cleanliness/ it being connected to the main house . But thats just me . Overall the area was quiet and felt safe enough leaving all of our travel gear./ camping supplies in the bed of the truck.

I had a very nice time at Tobins. The suite is clean and well supplied. I found the bed to be excellent, but of course preferences will differ. The area is very quiet at night. Conveniently located for South hills in Eugene, but really easy access to anywhere in town. If your staying in the heat of summer a A/C unit is available, nice touch. Large back yard, shared laundry, plenty of parking space on the street. For one or two people this is recommended.

A place to sleep, and that's about it. Reminded me of an outdated motel, but just in a safer neighborhood and not in a sketchy area of town like the actual motels in Eugene.The bed is hard. The closet was a little dusty. The room smelled musty when we arrived and there was a faint odor of urine right at the doorway going into the bathroom - not sure where it was coming from. The shower head is very low - I am 5'9" and it was below my head. There is a fruit tree outside the front door - there was a lot of rotten fruit all over the ground by the door attracting many wasps, bees, and flies. There is a leak that drips over the walkway to the door and a random rosebush right in the middle of the path that is eye level you need to duck under in order to get to the front door. If there is another party staying in the house upstairs, parking is a challenge - the spaces are not marked at all. We ended up parking on the street most of our stay. Since the house above can sleep so many people, there can be a lot of cars on the street just for the guests staying in the house and you may end up parking down the street. You need to start towels in the laundry before you leave, but you can't use the washing machine early in the morning, so that was a challenge for us when we needed to leave at 7am, but still needed to shower and use towels before we left.We were very busy during our stay, so luckily we didn't need to be at the space except to sleep and shower.

The shower didn’t work and it took 2 days to get it repaired. The manager reported he didn’t know there was a pet cat with my son after I annotated that in the reservation and paid the fee prior to arrival.

Our tennis team needed a comfy quiet house for our competition weekend. We were able to book both the studio and the house giving us additional bedrooms. We had a very comfy stay, the house was just right. Quiet with comfy beds, very close to groceries and other restaurants when we weren’t cooking ourselves. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfy-Cozy

The property was in a lovely neighborhood and very quiet. It was very neat clean and tidy. For a smaller space it was very well appointed and had everything we needed. The owner was always responsive to any questions or needs we had we would definitely stay here again.

Modest studio suited to our needs except NO COFFEE. I realize it was cheap, but we weren't prepared to have to go out immediately in the morning for coffee. Messaged host, but no reply. Otherwise heat, kitchen, linens adequate.

Comfy and Cozy

We booked this studio along with the big attached house for a family reunion. It worked so great to have the extra space. The host is very responsive and the amenities are great. Highly recommended.

I needed an inexpensive place to stay while the flooring in my house was redone. This was exactly what I needed. I especially enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful backyard meadow, perfect for the three visiting deer.

Great stay, just as described

We rented both units in this house for a group of high school students and chaperones. Everything was excellent and just as described. The basement studio is well laid out, well provisioned and spotlessly clean. We would definitely stay again. There is significant noise transfer from the upstairs but also many signs in the upstairs unit enforcing quiet hours and respect for the neighbours so I suspect it is generally fine. Thanks for the great stay!

Hands down the CUTEST place to stay in Oregon!

The check-in process was super easy! The place was most adorable. Definitely heed the warning of the step up to the bathroom so you don’t chip your big toenail like I did. 😆 The refrigerator with freezer was awesome. The shower and sink were clean. The bed was nice and soft. The bedding was clean, and the two little chairs at the table was just enough for me and my daughter. I made a pot of coffee every and sat outside on the stoop and had coffee with the neighborhood deer. I was definitely stay here again.

So cute and cozy

Honestly was such a great experience! My boyfriend and I got very lucky because nobody else was staying in the unit attached. So I can’t exactly speak for any “sound issues” (honestly don’t even think it would have been that bad). However every other aspect was so nice! The bed had a lot of pillows and blankets, very cozy ones too. The kitchenette, although mostly unused by us (we prefer ordering), every unit worked very well. I love the refrigerator, very cute and 50s esque. The table was mostly used by my boyfriend in order to do some work, and being able to be so close to him while I was on the bed and he was working. It was very nice :). The shower temp gets super hot, which I love. But is very easy to get cold, it’s pretty quick when changing the temp. I will say one of the towel racks fell off randomly, but it wasn’t really an issue I would just say it might need to be replaced. Laundry was super easy too! Both washer and dryer work great, and although it is a shared space, I don’t think it would be too much of a hassle if both units were occupied. The only thing I will say is, we didn’t realize there was a heater in a closet behind the bed. So we got quite cold, but I that’s mostly our fault :P. Overall great experience! Ubers to and from campus only $12, super easy. Could honestly walk if it hadn’t been raining! I’d recommend this over a hotel especially if you plan to be away from it for most of the day. Sure there are no accommodations but if you aren’t expecting that going in, I can’t see why you’d be disappointed.

Excellent accommodations!

We stayed from 10-26-22 through 10-30-22. The apartment is quaint and suited our needs. It is basically a studio apartment that easily holds a party of two. It is attached to a main house.It has a full/queen bed, full bathroom, kitchenette that included a two burner cooktop (no oven), refrigerator, everything you need to cook, a small dining table and coffee maker. It was very clean upon arrival and we did get greeted by some deer in the back yard. We did have one issue with the heating but the host took care of it right away. Communication was awesome. When we come back to Eugene to close on a house next year, this will be the place we stay. Thank you so much!
