Wonderful place for a family gathering

Stayed here for a week with 5 adults, 2 dogs and 4 kids. It was perfect. A really magical place to bring family together.

Family vacation

We rented this beautiful cabin for a family vacation. It was a halfway point for our family that lives in PA and FL. The cabin was beautiful and the hosts were amazing! Would definitely rent from them again.

Beautiful setting!

We stayed at this beautiful property and went to Floydfest. The home was so comfortable and had everything we needed. The view is beautiful and we enjoyed looking at it from the hot tub! We would certainly book this one again!

Remote But Very Nice for Family Gathering

Nice weekend in the mountains

The home was clean and had plenty of space for our group of 10. The hosts were very responsive to our notes and emails. The location was remote but gorgeous. We loved our nights in the hot tub.we were pleased with our stay and would recommend this property to anyone looking for an escape to the mountains.

Great memories made

We had a great time. Family get together for Thanksgiving and everyone had a fantastic time. Rooms are well spaced out, plenty of common area, and large kitchen. We made some great memories there.

We enjoyed our holiday stay. Large open areas for family time together. Well supplied kitchen. Responsive owner, housekeepers and handyman. Close to Blue Ridge Parkway attractions, some closed in the winter.

Beautiful house

The house was large and lovely, and communication with the owners was swift and easy. The two young girls in our party loved the built-in bunks. The hot tub was a great way to end the day. Great views from the porches!

What a wonderful lodge

Our stay at Kim and Andys lodge was everything we could ask for in a vacation rental. The location has a beautiful view from the hot tub. It was not too far from town to get groceries. The space fit our large party for an unofficial college reunion and it is unanimous that this lodge would be a contender for another group vacation.

Beautiful home

House was great. Wish we could have hike but path appeared overgrown.

Hi, thanks for leaving a review, we enjoyed having you stay and appreciate the way your group left things after your departure. The hiking trail up the mountain is a year round path but the summer heat and rain cause it to get grown up like the rest of the woods and terrain on the mountain this time of year . During the summer it is a little more of an adventure until the fall comes and it thins back out. In the winter it is more akin to a single lane road bed than hiking trail. Great home for a weekend getaway

This was a great home that is well equipped with the needs for an escape to the mountains and country. Quiet and tranquil. The homeowners were very responsive and communicated well. We’ll be back at this house in the future

Lovely Getaway

My family really enjoyed being able to get away from the city and avoid the spring break crowds. The cabin was clean, spacious and beautiful. We did lose power one day due to a really bad storm but we made the best of it with the provided oil lanterns and candles and spent the evening playing games with our kids. Thank you for a lovely retreat.
