ENORMOUS AIRY PENTHOUSE LOFT：AC、Wifi、レインシャワー、洗濯機/乾燥機、二重ガラス

We stayed in July shortly after this guest when it was hotter outside and had no issues with the AC. It was specified for the apartment size and volumes and is serviced regularly. It does not turn the apartment into a freezer box, but does make it perfectly comfortable if used correctly on the correct settings. Please read the other reviews.

Firstly, please read all the other reviews before considering this one. As you see in the photos of the apt (which many other reviews confirm) there are NO curtains... Next, you will see the windows have blinds for privacy. At night it is not as bright in the apartment as during the day. This guest arrived in the evening. We will let you do the maths on why an apartment may be dark inside in the evening with blinds in the windows which are shown in all the photos. To our knowledge they were not broken when this guest arrived, nor after, but they do require some effort to lift up. You are welcome to lift them up, but it is wholly unnecessary during the day if the blinds are adjusted to the correct angle (again see the photos.) This apt could hardly be brighter inside if it had no roof. The bath is indeed in the spacious bedroom, which when this apartment was gut renovated seemed a fun idea, like many fancy boutique hotels in the world. It still remains so, but some people enjoy it more than others. Finally the AC. Yes there was an issue which is now being fixed. Our local guy who takes care of check-in and check-out kindly offered to spend Euro700 on a portable AC for this guest while we got an AC tech to fix the issue. Despite this the guest didn't want to stay. In fact the guest arrived, spent less than 10 minutes in the apt, left with bags, then barraged us with messages and calls every 2 or 3 minutes for hours from a café demanding a refund (we were at work.) We were happy to refund her as it is rarely a good thing to have people stay who are clearly extremely difficult to deal with and wholly unreasonable. For the record, once checked in no guest is entitled to a refund of any kind unless the host agrees. We went out of our way to call VRBO/Homeaway to make sure that she received a 100% refund including whatever fees she had paid. We did not need to do this. But we did it anyway. No good deed goes unpunished clearly, as the guest did not stay, did not pay, got a full refund, and still got to leave an extremely biased review with no basis in fact (the comment about the curtains is probably the winner given there are no curtains.) Of course VRBO/Homeaway customer service refuses to even talk to us about this review being factually incorrect, biased, and left by a guest who did not even stay or pay. We believe this is a beautiful apt, in AAA+ location, and outside the rare hiccup out of our control the reviews agree.
