My husband and I recently stayed at the Seaside Inn during our first visit to West Bay Beach and Roatan. We stayed in the Gecko Casita, a separate little cottage just next to the main house. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay including a small kitchen with coffee maker, appliances, and cooking supplies. A delicious breakfast was served every morning on the patio of the main building. The owner, Jean-Noel, was away during our stay but Noel and Sandy took great care of us. They answered all questions. arranged a private tour guide, and also arranged for our Covid test to be done at the Inn the day before going home.
We liked the location of Seaside in a lot. We were a 4 minutes walk down a quiet road to the beach. We spent our days scuba diving with West Bay divers, (right down the street), or hanging out at the beach in the chairs at Argentinian Grill. We loved being so close to everything but also just a bit removed so we could have peace and quiet when we returned after a busy day. I can't comment on staying in the main house since we were in the cottage but overall I would recommend Seaside Inn if you prefer something smaller and more quiet than Infinity Bay or the Grand Roatan. I also liked that we were on the northern end of West Bay Beach which was a bit less busy and noisy. We certainly hope to return someday!
