Annecy short break

Evelyn and Eric are terrific hosts and have a beautiful modern apartment with a garden, it's excellently located near the old town just 15 minutes easy walk to the centre

Lovely spacious apartment. Very quiet area. Comfy bed and great shower. Supermarket and shopping area close by. Train and bus 10 minute walk and about 15 minutes to walk to the old town. Only conern was the steep steps (with no rail) to outside garden and clothes line. Luckily my husband had no trouble with them, so he was able to peg clothes on line. Also no blackout curtains but the comfy bed made up for that. Evelyn and Eric lived upstairs and communication was very easy through the Stayz app.

Very nice location for a stay in Annecy

We very much liked ourstay in the appartment. Everything was close and could be reached within walking distance. The appartment was clean and very well equipped. Communication was friendly and our hosts were very helpful

From the time we looked at booking many months ago, the whole process has been so easy and Evelyne was sensational with her speedy replies, helpfulness and easy to understand preparations for our stay. Thank you so much Evelyne for the space - exactly like the pictures in the listing with every modern convenience, plenty of space and easy conversations. Everything worked!!!! Thankyou!! Can’t wait to stay here again, and we loved the Artwork!

Lovely flat with lovely garden/vegetable plot

This was a very pleasant flat in a quiet area with a lovely eating area for two outside. It was well stocked and the air con (much needed) worked brilliantly. Any difficulties we had contacting the hosts was entirely due to Vrbo. The area was short on food shops and we would not describe it as in the centre of Annecy.

Lovely, charming and close to everything.

We loved our stay in Annecy at this quaint house on a quiet street and close to everything. Old town is within walking as well as grocery stores and restaurants. The garden in the backyard is beautiful and lovely to sit and enjoy with a glass of wine. We used public transportation and the rail, bus and local buses are also within walking distance. Our hosts were welcoming and gracious to our needs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here. You will have a lovely time.

Great apartment close to the town centre

The apartment in Annecy was perfect. The location is convenient - about a 10 minute walk to the old town centre. The apartment is very well equipped especially the kitchen which made self catering very easy. The garden is amazing - even better than the photos and was perfect for an evening drink in the sun. Communication with Evelyn was very easy and she even arranged for a parking pass for us which meant we could park in front of the house for free. We also had use of the washing machine in the basement which was very useful. Lovely boulangerie was round the corner. Thank you Evelyn for a great stay. Annecy is a great place to visit. Thoroughly recommended!

Great place to stay in Annecy

Wonderful, quiet neighborhood (until Friday night - got a little rowdy outside). Close enough to walk to everything, but far enough away to be peaceful. Spacious apartment, well equipped. My only suggestions would be to have a few different kinds of pillows to choose from (I personally don't like the down ones you have to stuff under your head) and curtains. Just sheers is not enough for light control OR privacy, especially in the bedroom. The neighbors probably got an eyeful a time or two! We didn't even turn the light on in the bedroom for that reason. The bed was a little saggy but not terrible. Nice, new appliances in the kitchen and bathroom. A waste basket in the bedroom would be nice, but we made do. I would stay there again. The location is really perfect.

Très chouette appart très bien équipé et un peu à l’écart du plein centre, ce qui était appréciable en plein mois d’août....et malgré tout à distance de marche de la gare (nous y étions en train), du centre de la vieille ville, du lac et du départ de certaines randonnées...Nous y reviendrions avec plaisir

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Wir, zwei Erwachsene aus Deutschland, hatten einen Kurztrip in Annecy. Wir wurden sehr, sehr freundlich empfangen u. A. mit einer eisgekühlten Flasche Champagner. Das Apartment war äußerst gepflegt und es fehlte an Nichts. Die Gastgeber aufmerksam und unglaublich freundlich. Wir bedanken uns noch einmal ganz herzlich und können die Unterkunft nur weiter empfehlen. Herbstliche Grüße aus Deutschland

Fijne accomodatie vlakbij centrum Annecy

Wij verbleven een week in dit mooie en moderne appartement. Leuke gastvrouw en -heer, waar je goed mee kunt communiceren, en als welkom stond er in de koelkast een fles wijn. In het perfect schone en ruime verblijf ontbreekt het aan niets, het bed is ook prima. Het was warm in Annecy en we waren heel blij met de goed werkende airco en rolluiken voor alle ramen. In de grote keuken is alles aanwezig om zelf te koken en beneden in de kelder is een wasmachine die gebruikt mag worden. In de mooie tuin is een tafel met 4 stoelen waar je heerlijk rustig kunt zitten en eten. In de straat voor het huis is altijd voldoende parkeerplek, hier moet je wel iets voor betalen, maar een stukje verderop is het gratis. Prettig is ook dat er op de overloop een stofzuiger, strijkbout en -plank staan. Kortom, we hebben genoten in dit prachtige appartement, dat op loopafstand van het centrum ligt!

Aufwendig renovierte Wohnung mit gehobener Ausstattung. Bequeme Betten. Großer TV, leider kein deutscher Sender . Schöner kleiner Garten mit Sitzplätzen. P auf dem Grundstück. Zur Altstadt und zum See 15 min. Zu Fuß. Ideal für Ausflüge in die Umgebung inkl. Montblanc. Sehr sympathische Vermieterin, immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Weiterempfelung 100%.

Nous sommes venus en train, l'appartement est très bien situé: près de la gare en près de ma vieille ville. L'appartement est très spatieux pour deux personnes et très bien équipé.

Une expérience très positive

La maison d'Evelyne est un appartement flambant neuf, rénové avec goût, situé dans un quartier calme et paisible, derrière la gare et donc très proche du centre, qui se trouve à 10 minutes à pied. La maison est entièrement équipée et très propre, elle dispose d'un petit jardin à l'arrière où nous pouvions ranger nos vélos et, par beau temps, vous pouvez manger sur la petite table à l'extérieur. La communication avec Evelyne a toujours été claire et rapide via le site web, c'est une hôte très gentille et hospitalière (une bouteille de vin nous attendait dans le réfrigérateur en guise de bienvenue !) Elle nous a fourni une carte de parking pour laisser la voiture juste devant la maison. Hautement recommandé !

L’appartement est très bien situé car à 10mn du plein centre d’Annecy et accessible en voiture. L’appartement est très propre et bien équipé. Vous trouverez tous les ustensiles dont vous avez besoin. La propriétaire est très sympathique. Lorsque nous reviendrons sur Annecy nous reprendrons cette location.

Well worth the stay!

We rented this lovely place for 2 weeks while visiting our kids and grandkids. It's quiet, clean, close to old town and transportation. We would most definitely stay again. Well worth renting!
